Michael, hearing the familiar voice, hopped out his chair and stood in front of her. "Well that is good news." He said, giving her a hug. "As you can see I have been doing a lot of work since your absence."

Banshi put her arms around him, returning the hug. Looking around the room, she said in good humor, "As always, Michael." Letting her arms drop away from the embrace, Banshi sat on his desk, and picking up and looking through his files, asked, "So, care to tell me everything I missed while I was away?" The file on Edward was both interesting and funny to her, it only took a single glance for her to get the general idea of everything he had been working on in recent days.

Mike shrugged. "Well when you left I put the men to work. V is out on a recon mission to the Rosenthal Keep, Seth and Lily are working on improving our forces, James...You should just ask him yourself, and as for me." He said, plopping down a chair across from her. "I got the noble idea to go and check on Edward. The guy got all pissy with me and so we kinda had a little...duel. Yeah lets call it that."

Banshi raised an eyebrow, "Oh really?" Plopping down on the desk infront of him, her elbows on the desk supporting her arms up, her head resting against her fists, Banshi said with an amused look on her face, "'Let's call it that' means it was a fight but neither of you got hurt too bad, I am guessing. So, what started that?"

Kirai, hearing no response, closed her eyes. I may as well leave, go and feed, then visit the other castle on my way to return home. Standing up out of the chair, she walked down the hallway, and out of the castle.

Angel of the End Banshi raised an eyebrow, "Oh really?" Plopping down on the desk infront of him, her elbows on the desk supporting her arms up, her head resting against her fists, Banshi said with an amused look on her face, "'Let's call it that' means it was a fight but neither of you got hurt too bad, I am guessing. So, what started that?" Michael started to ramble out a well rehearsed excuse. "Well, it was....you see...In my defense he was acting like a little girl with a bad temper. So I helped him blow off some steam, like we did back in the old country." As he said this he patted the sheath of his sword. "You know I really need to stop saying 'the old country'. I think it gets on people nerves. Anywho, we sparred, he had a few new tricks that I let him use on me. I must make it clear that I let him win, I didn't even use all of my focus on him."

Banshi smiled sweetly, and closed her eyes and nodded, reaching her arm out and patting him on the head like a little boy. "Whatever you say, Michael."

"What? I did...See look." He protested, creating a orb of light in his hand. "If I had been trying I would have blinded his a** with this, making him vulnerable." He bounced it around a little in boredom and held in front of her. "Neat isn't it? A priest I met in Bale taught me how to do this."

Banshi was impressed by this new skill. "Neat indeed, good job... I'm happy to see you got training in addition to losing to Edward." Now Banshi was just having fun with this, she smirked at the second part, letting Michael know she was only kidding.

Mike just shook his head and smiled cockily. "Maybe me and him will have a rematch soon. I think he could use the refresher course." He set the orb on top of Banshi's head making it burst out in a shower of light. "Pretty, and I'm not talking about the light show."

Banshi did not blush, but among other crusniks, especially Michael, you could see a calm, deep, loving, protective, and authoritive look in her eyes. Her species, her loved ones, ment the world to her. "I take it you mean my invisible jewerly?"

Michael whisked away the lights and smiled. "Lets go with that." Leaning back in his chair he sighed and looked at the mountain of files. "So, whats up next on our list of things to do?"

"I'd like to send you to meet our new crusnik. I need to meet with Hawk and Mercy and work on training both of them." Banshi said, her eyes scanning all the files. "Also, just a thought.... Edward's heritage is royality from Basil, so you might want to try to avoid any future fighting, unless it is necessary or clearly just for play or training."

"Fine." Michael said, picking up his things. "But you know how I feel about entitlement." He felt slightly insulted that she would suggest him training with Edward. He had been using a sword since he was 15, he had the training. "So who and where is this new Crusnik?"

"Her name is Kat, and you'll be able to find her in the mainlands. I doubt she could of gone far from when I last saw her. She seems to already know what she is, so we can skip having to break the harsh news to her." Banshi said, having a long history of friendship with Edward, she didn't feel a need to apologize for what she had said.
