Kanashimi Kurai Are you sure about that Trick? From the way I'm understanding things, this guy can fight and counter at the same time? Am I wrong about that... And don't forget that if he's countered all magic in the area, then goes away and leaves himself on Super Stealth, players can't do anything to him to stop him from countering... which isn't very cool... Edit: And Fenrir and I both come to the same conclusions. ^_^" Ah, okay. If I was imagining things I was going to install an auto "Shoot anyone within fifteen yards eight times" thing on Gamma.

Can't do that Trick if he's not online. He can't be touched.
Wahoo, what we're having the problem with is that this effect is continuing to happen even when he's offline, which means that no one can do anything about it, which isn't really fair.

If he's on super stealth, he can't attack either.
He's countering, so he's not on super stealth.
Though it's not my problem. =D

Look at it this way people...
He has TWO abilities. How many do you have? Sure his may be good, but what about that ranged 'all I have to do is look at you hard and you get ice in you and blow the hell up.' I'd trade counter magic for that, as well as your 8 or 9 other abilities.

I might be the only GM in this thing who thinks like this. But in this situation - immunity should be revoked.
Or it should be paused until he gets on.
It would be a very sound method to attack him and put a stop to that. Otherwise he is just standing there looking pretty as people ignore him - which does not even make sense.
But I do not know what the other two think on this...
KILL I say.

*shrugs* Neither Wulf or I really mind the countermage jazz.
Or at least, I don't, 'cause it doesn't work on me, and Wulf's found a bit of a loophole.

Nah, theres no loophole, as soon as the magic starts it stops, nothing at all happens.
Howabout we put it at this. If somebody hits nascen, he stops. He cannot take lethal damage or any of that, but if he is struck, he stops.

Stryphe Interesting, a completely undetectable, untelegraphed, ranged move that can potentially blow off someone's head with the slightest bit of effort. It'll be fun coming up with something to counter that, and I mean it. whee You guys are too much. if he's staring at you and his hair--- you know what, go read the judge thread.

But I do not know what the other two think on this... I agree with you there- he's not online, and for everyone to continue playing his characters earlier action is, in essence, a munch. Because, for all we know, he could have 'turned it off' or flat out left the area if he WERE online. xd Kinda see where I'm going with this?

It occurs to me that one could be effectively crippled enough that they themselves could not complete the contest, but still be alive.

Stryphe Kinda see where I'm going with this?
Yep. That it be.
The joys of using area of effect powers and then going into 'invincible mode' of sorts. 3nodding
