 Chris stared as they walked out. "Ugh... im not sure what that snake is up too.. but it cant be good." He thought. "I would watch her but... Then that would be just creepy. But then again.." He said as he started to close his eyes and wispered. "Cat eyes." His eyes turned yellow and he could see what Kairi could see. "Hmm.. so kairi's following them too? Good thing." He thought smiling. Her curiosity piqued when she heard Penelope's voice. 'Ah... fire...? How intriguing.' A loud thump resounded in the class, causing Melodie to snap her head to the source. It was Penelope. 'Maybe she's sleepy? Or perhaps sick?' When Orochi had volunteered to take her to the infirmary, Melodie was slightly shocked. It was the first time she had seen the boy perform an act of kindness. Snapping her attention back to class, she raised her hand slightly and asked, "What do you have in store for us, Ma'am and Sir?"

Xavier wasn't fazed by the answer of Penelope, since he never actually met her. But he did give her a 'what-the-heck-happened-to-you' look when her head met the desk. Sensing Melodie's emotions was so much more amusing, compared to the event that just happened. 'I wonder why she was so surprised when that kid helped her... Is he really that bad?'

"we would normally expect you to train in the magics your good at and improve your skills, but it may be more fruitful to have to learn techniques outside your normal attack types, for example Utsuho you are fire based, if you come across a target that is immune to fire your don't have much to fall back on, that is a dangerous weakness" Patchouli explained pointing to Utsuho
"Take time to reflex on past battles and recall any battle that gave you trouble and try to understand why you had such difficulty with that fight, maybe your opponent was too fast? were they able to predict your moves? or just too powerful?
you all need to learn the limits of your abilities and how you can push past them" Patchouli finished see looked around the room, she knew recognizing a weakness was not an easy task to do, and over coming it was harder, no one likes to admit they have faults.

"Is it possible to take up two elements?" Melodie inquired. She knew that both Xavier and her had two elements in mind, since they had already talked about it back at the manor.

"The most some can normally master is 3 but as you can tell I have mastered all elements in my pursuit of knowledge, so with alot of study and practice you can master all it just takes a few years, I would recommend on just getting 2 or 3 elemental attributes" Patchouli suggested she was an elemental genius according to the compliments everyone in her class gave her as well as those on the teaching council but then again she spent all her life studying magics so it shouldn't be a surprise
She looked at Chris "Yes just remember no matter how good you become you will have weaknesses to over come, no one is flawless" She answered

Reid hand shot up in the air."What if your opponent is slow abd feels like he is made of rock? What element could i use agrnst someone like that?" she asked thinking about Cross.

Chris smiled while listening to her movements with his neko ears. He was trying to face the direction she was going by just listening to her. "So since im not a magic user... Melodie glanced at Xavier and winked at him. Since their forte was mostly based on the elements, it wouldn't so trouble to manage three or four elements. "Thank you, Miss Patchouli. I think I'll take up both water and wind," she said thoughtfully, folding her hands together and placing her chin on top of them.

"Normally one would try water against a rock type enemy, but one could also try fire, try aiming for a more explosive attack or a way to get threw his defense, rock tends to be strong and high on defense making it hard to damage, you either have to be quicker than it, or more stronger than it" Patchouli answered
"And yes as a warrior you are vulnerable to long range attacks to combat this you should learn some ranged magic" Patchouli replied to Chris
"Take up what ever element you fell the need to, you may be limited due to your nature and how magical you are to begin with for example Suwako already has 2 elements at her disposal bonuses for anyone who guesses what they are, another bonus if you guess he weakness" Patchouli stated pointed now to Suwako

Rei smiled."Then I would like to study fire abd water.and Jairo wants to study wind and light if she can.she allredy knows how to control water."Rei smiled.she knew that Kairi allwas wanted to lirn moor about wind and light.she could transform into wind and light udder but she sucked at controlling the elements.

Suwako was listening "weak to fire,but my water will dowse any flame" Suwako thought to herself
"your half right, Suwako is both wood and water, though she can use a bit of earth/metal, but you got her weakness wrong anyone else want to guess at her weakness" Patchouli asked as she looked around the room "If not I can demonstrate"
