She was sitting on the floor still, exactly where everyone dear and close to her faded off into that dreaded Life-Stream. A 'other world' to her that she was starting to hate. Why did people have to die? Why did evil have to exist? Why was all life completely against them from the moment they were born? So many questions lurked in the back of the young teenage girls mind. But there was another voice that dug deeper into her mind and heart like nails. Krul's. Slowly, Ariel turned with fiercely enraged eyes as she kissed Kaden, and more so treated him like some slave pet. Worse? He was enjoying it. Surly it wasn't bothering him much, he didn't once struggle, or tell her to leave. He let it happen, even going as far as calling her his master. The rage was clear as she stood, and her pace toward the Reaper quickened as she suddenly grabbed her, pushing her back pretty roughly for one so weak as Ariel was. Krul, having not expected this was knocked back to her surprise, and when Ariel tried to grab her collar, it was Ariel who would feel the pink haired girls strong hand wrap around her neck and squeeze it with sharp painful nails that would dig into her skin. Still though, she didn't seem to be bothered. The Adrenalin she didn't know she had put pain at ease for the moment. "Everyone is dead! My Father..My mother....Yuffie...Roy...Yugi...Hana.. So many lives that didn't need to be lost are gone! And you.....You horrible...creature!!! Kaden isn't your SLAVE! He isn't a PET! "

Snickering up at her, Krul looked into her distressed, tear-filled eyes. She hadn't seen anyone lose it like this girl was doing in..oh, very long. No one just randomly attacked her. "Oh, but he is...I'm going to let you meet someone, just to show you how much of a PET he is to me. Mine. Then i'll..." But she didn't say her last words, as they would hang in the air for anyone still there to wonder about as both Krul and Ariel vanished from the garden.

"Kaden....Are you really going along with her? The second biggest enemy of Serenitians, and you are letting her use you like this? You are a lot stronger then this...You aren't her..her....slave! Stop letting her treat you like one! " While the place was starting to clear out, there were still some that remained, and Teresa was one of them. She decided to stay behind, rather then go with her family to their kingdom due to still not being able to find Ein. Teresa wouldn't just leave without letting her know, that would be pretty rude of her..And now she was glad she did, to have witness to another act of Krul doing something bad.

Turning to her now, she seemed to have Krul's attention by now, what with standing right in front of both her and Kaden. "Where did you take Ariel? Where is she? "

"So cute..! Like a little dog, trying to act brave, yet could do nothing to back herself if she tried! Do you want to play in my kingdom again? " She smiled coldly. "Don't misunderstand. I am here to fight against the beast, not to protect you Serenitians, or the world and it's pathetic humans. I'm only here for Kaden and my own. You could all be destroyed by the beast, for all I care! As for Ariel...Oh, that hardly matters..." Before she could try to question her further, Krul vanished from the garden again, back to her home.

"....Our family is sure getting to be a mess...." Aiko sighed, shaking her head at Kaden, to think she had looked up so much to him before, even if this was 'another' form of Kaden, it was still her brother regardless of alternate time lines or whatever it was he came from, she still didn't understand. "Were the only two sane sisters! So, we should do something, as, just sisters together...Come on,Sissy!" Teresa wouldn't even get a chance to so much as blink, before Aiko's form would morph into a dragon, and unlike most of her forms, this one was just big enough to hold possibly three adults, so Teresa was no problem. Aiko swooped under her, catching her perfectly so by instinct, Teresa would have to grab onto her neck to hold on before the dragon flew right out of the balcony....With a screaming Teresa on her back. It was quite a funny sight..Clearly she wasn't letting her go, after all, Teresa was the one who wanted to be with her family more then anything, now, she had that chance with Aiko to spend time with her. If the world was coming to an end, she was going to get SOME time to be with her sister....In only seconds, the two were gone as the dragon disappeared into the clouds above.

"...Cloud," A familiar voice would speak to the blonde from behind him. When Cloud turned to look, he would see the robed Tactician, Robin. "The Beast was here... wasn't he? I'm so sorry..."
"..." Cloud tensed up slightly. He wanted to kill something. Seek some sort of retribution for Zack and Aerith. But... right now he had to try to keep his composure. Nothing would come of him losing his temper. Not right now... "...Robin," Cloud said. "Long time no see..."
"Listen, Cloud... I may have the information we need. A way to defeat the Beast."
Cloud's eyes widened. "What..?" He stepped toward him. "Tell me. How do you know? What is it? How can it be done?"
"Let me come with you to the Northern Cave. I'll explain on the way. ...I had an encounter with the Beast before he selected his host." Cloud thought for a moment, but nodded. "Alright, let's-"
"Robin," Ike said aggressively, brandishing the Ragnell. "I seem to recall a recent incident where you almost killed Soren."
"Funny," Soren said, pulling out the Excalibur tome. "I seem to recall that too."
"?" Robin's eyes narrowed slightly. "Funny, I also seem to recall an incident where you almost killed my daughter." He said to Soren, his voice unusually threatening. "And you attacking Chrom." That directed at Ike. "Lower your weapons." He said, his hand going slowly to the Levin Sword at his side. "I don't want any more deaths than there already have been."
"Perhaps you shouldn't have picked a fight with us, then."
"You tried to kill Morgan. You should be thankful you're still alive now!" Most who did typically didn't live past the day.
"She intended to attack Ike. I only acted in retaliation."
"And she was acting in defense of the man who killed my father. It wasn't her business to intrude on."
"Enough!" Cloud shouted. "That's enough! If you're angry, direct that anger at the monsters we're going to fight in the cave. ...I know I will." He said. "Robin's right, there's been enough death today. I'm not letting anymore happen." None at all, if he could help it.
Turning a moment, he addressed Cissnei as she spoke to him. "...What? No! Hiyori..." He grunted. "I need her to... stay here and monitor our.... progress." In other words, "stay out of harm's way as much as possible." "She would be more useful if she stayed here and... thought of strategies, since Stark isn't here yet..." Strategies for a scenario they had no information on. Even Robin, Soren and Micaiah working together would have trouble with that one. And two of those people could somewhat predict the future. "Just... stay here, Hiyori. Please." And then Tina tried to volunteer herself too. "No! Stay and... protect Hiyori?" Damn, this was hard. Tina was obviously a good fighter, but Cloud had no intention of putting his daughters in harm's way. "Most of Avalanche is departing, so you'd be better if you stayed and protected the Garden."

Meanwhile, only moments after Teresa left, Ein re-entered the ballroom, having tried to store away her insecurities. Right now, she just wanted to be with Teresa and apologize for her absence during the party. ....But where was she? "...? Have you seen Teresa?" She asked the first person she came across, which was an irritated Kaden.
The Reaper/Serenitian turned to Ein, half glaring at her. "Teresa?" It was easy to read Ein's current insecurities... so... "She left with that blonde kid, Ventus. I think they're going on a date or something."
"...Oh..." Ein's shoulders visibly sank. "I see..." With that, Kaden walked past the girl, heading towards the exit to the room. He had clearly been hoping to spend some more time with Krul...
"..." Ein's eyes shut a moment, as if trying to hold back her emotions. "S-stupid..." She said to herself, as she turned to exit the Garden. "Why did I think she would ever... I'm so... stupid..." She was obviously oblivious to the ones who had died, otherwise she would be more concerned about that. But she had been absent for the Beast's short visit, so.

Meanwhile, a little further into the ball room, a distance away from where Cloud, Ike and Soren were when her father walked in, Morgan was standing aside kind of looking off out the balcony where Aiko flew off moments ago with Teresa. As she stood there, other's conversations seemed to become more audible to her ears as it was already very quiet. So, the conversation between Ein and Kaden, was quick to catch her attention. Morgan knew full well where Teresa was, and the fact that her own brother would be so krul to hurt someone Teresa cared so much about, was unacceptable. "Hey! " She called out, rushing right on over to block Kaden's escape path. What he would feel next might even bring him to a surprise as his back would be pressed hard against the nearest wall. His eyes would now face the angry soft brown ones that glared into his. "That was sooo mean! If you don't want a serious spanking, you better tell her the truth! She didn't go with that boy...and you know it! To mess with someone's feelings like that....Makes me...so angry! " It took a lot of her strength to contain herself from actually attacking him right now. Which would be pretty bad, considering what Soren and Ike were currently arguing about.

"You aren't getting past me until I hear the truth, and a apology to her! " She thought for a moment, as her eyes never left his. "No, I changed my mind. You should get on your knees and beg her for that forgiveness instead. How dare you hurt a girls feelings like that! You don't deserve mercy! "

".....I'm going with you..There isn't any information or strategies to even come up with! There's little info to do anything...I can help, so i'm going to. We are talking about the end of the world! It's no time to worry about silly things. I wouldn't feel right not helping, anyway.." And Hiyori really, really wanted to be useful."I have enough gadgets to do away with enemies in the cave, so..don't worry. If you want my strategy, that's it. We stick together and you trust me... " Hiyori reached into her pocket then to pull out something of a small digital device attached to watch bands to hold in place with a tiny screen. "This will help keep track of everything around us. It will tell us if any surprises are on the way, and of course, only I can use it. It's set to my voice only.."

"Yeahhh...Um, sorry! No one's coming here to attack the garden...and you know it well yourself that I would be good help there. You don't even know what to expect at the cave. Or what Jenova is even planning, or has planned for you. So, no. Were both going! " Tina crossed her arms, she was quite firm on her choice. "And as for you three..." She glanced on to Soren, Ike and Robin.. "I think we have bigger problems to deal with then grudges. It's time to put those aside and focus on the real issue here, you know, like, the end of the world thing. Were all going to fight against this thing as a team, right? You won't fight well if you have silly grudges against one of your own team-mates. Now, let's not let the beast or Jenova win. You know it would please them both to watch us split up..Like before. If everyone here is so skilled and smart, then start acting like it! " She didn't mean to insult them, but really, she was more so trying to make a strong point. Them fighting with one another was not going to help them in anyway. They had to focus.

"There's not a thing I don't cherish!"

"...No. Neither of you are coming with us." Cloud said firmly. "That's final. Jenova would just use you to get to me. One mistake is all it would take. Understand?" He said seriously. Jenova had once had Aerith killed without a second thought, and though it was partially because she was an Ancient, it was also because of her friendship with Cloud. "Neither of you are coming. Go join the other Avalanche members to warn the cities if you have to, but you're not coming to fight Jenova."
Soren's eyes went to Tina, narrowing slightly. "Quiet. You have no business trying to get involved in our affairs. This man tried to kill me. i wonder how much we can really trust a person like that." Clearly he didn't appreciate Tina trying to break up their confrontation. "If you have nothing useful to say, go do something useful, like make a sandwich." That certainly wasn't the sort of thing he'd usually say, so it was possible he was just trying to irritate or offend her.

"..." Kaden looked down to the girl, raising an eyebrow. She certainly seemed to be fairly strong, but... did she think she was really going to intimidate him? And she just had to use the word "spanking." What a coincidence. Had she seen Krul's little discipline act to him that was broadcast on television? "...." He raised one of his hands, sort of flicking her in the forehead really hard. It wouldn't knock her out or send her flying, but it would certainly leave a very irritating and slightly painful stinging sensation. "Aren't you precious." He said dully, not taking her as a very serious threat. Then, he just walked around her and proceeded towards the exit again!

Morgan noticeably flinched as he so irritatingly decided to flick her at her forehead, leaving a bit of a stinging sensation that would bother her for several minutes ahead. "......Don't you walk away from me!! " The fact that he flicked her, a great insult to her, was just enough to anger her enough that....it wouldn't be good for him. As he began to walk past her, she followed him only until they were through the doors. She didn't want to cause another scene in the ball room, and no one would see her next move but Kaden and possibly Ein, who wasn't entirely far away enough to not hear the sudden gust of wind and the tinge of magic in the air as her tome would send out a strong gust of wind to strike down Kaden. It wouldn't actually hurt him, it was really only meant to knock him down enough to stop him. "I said....Tell her the truth!"

"......Your plan isn't good..." Hiyori suddenly said. "Were all dead anyway if everything fails..aren't we? The smartest plan would be to send anyone, and I mean anyone who can fight or help in any way to fight..otherwise, winning is going to be a lot harder then it needs to be..and now, we don't just want to win for the planet's sake, but to see everyone the beast took the life of come back...." She still had some odd hope that they would, if the life stream continued it's strange streak of reviving lost lives. Not all, but quite a few were spared.

".....You above all here are the biggest target of Jenova.. You still carry her cells, don't you? She could turn you into her pawn and make you do something you will regret. No one here cares about you enough to stop you without killing, so rather you like it or not...I'm coming! " Turning to Soren now, she gave him a a small glare after taking in everything he said to her. " You know, it wasn't easy to take someone else's side. But, judging how I see it..if he really wanted to kill you, it doesn't seem likely you would be standing here now! " So, what she was trying to say was, Robin seemed to powerful to just not. He had to have been holding back. "AND! Taking inexperienced people to Jenova is also suicide. They don't know the cave, nor do they know her abilities. You need more people. I'm going. See you there! " Before Cloud or Soren could get another word in and go on about how she couldn't go, Tina hurried off herself. It was only when she was out of sight that she quickly morphed into her small esper form, and took off from the garden.

"All powers come to and flow from me..!"

"...?" Ein snapped out of her thoughts as she heard the commotion. It involved Kaden, the one who had just said Teresa left with Ein, and a girl telling him to tell the truth? Had he lied? ...Wouldn't it make more sense for the girl to just tell her the truth instead? Her heels began to lightly click as she started to walk to follow the two, her pace quickening a bit. If he had lied to her, she would know...
Ein passed by Morgan calmly, but quickly, and by the time Kaden turned over to his back to stand, she was there, standing over him. Pressing her boot against his chest, she shoved him down to his back. "..." She looked down at him. "Did you lie to me?"

"Wh-what?" Kaden grunted desperately. This was the girl who had seemingly defeated Krul with ease and tortured a Reaper until he did what she said. She was not to be taken lightly. "N...no!"
"..." Her eyes narrowed. "I think you're lying." She leaned down, an arm settled on her knee as her foot still pressed to his chest. "You know what I do to liars?"
"Sh-she left with her sister! Not with Ventus! I lied!" That was fast.
"That was easy." She leaned up. "Krul's right. You're nothing but a dog when a strong girl is around." She applied more pressure into his chest with her leg. Kaden gasped. "Just remember who's in charge, and don't cross me again. Krul couldn't beat me, and you have even less of a chance." She stepped off him now, turning to Morgan and walking over to her. "...You have my thanks. Bearers of the curse, as we are, we must stick together..." Her eyes closed, as she spoke passionately. "I can feel it--your blood resonates with my own. The darkness within my heart devours all that it touches, leaving nothing but ruin." Her eyes opened. "The darkness even now gnaws at my soul, but to know there is someone else who wishes to see justice done is encouraging. Nevertheless, I must continue on this perilous journey of mine, every day of my life..." For once, she might have met someone who wasn't weirded out by her melodramatic words. After all, Morgan was pretty familiar with someone else who had the same sort of speech... habits. "I will go now to the kingdom of light. Unless there is anything you need of a hero such as myself?"
"..." The look in Soren's face changed entirely at her words. It didn't twist into a face of anger, or an expression of surprise or hurt; instead, it became completely... indifferent. It was the same way he looked at everyone else, and the same way he looked at Tina before they began to get closer. Had the significance of this slight change not been lost on her, she might understand how much of a mistake she made in choosing those words. "Is that so." He said blankly. And he said nothing more. If she still wanted to win Soren's affection, she had possibly just completely ruined any chances of that happening. Soren turned away. "Let's go, Ike." He said, wanting nothing more to do with this conversation. Had Cid not come with the airship soon, Cloud would use the Ragnarok instead, and head to the Northern Cave when preparations were finished.

Morgan watched from the short distance between them, her eyes seemed to light up, was she perhaps a little...to interested in the scene between the two? It didn't take her skills long to completely destroy Kaden's pride even further before he was completely terrified out of his mind. It was when Ein approached her, though, that she clasped her hands together with almost wild eyes staring right into Ein's own. "That....was great! You sure showed him, didn't you? You...must teach me how to put a guy down so easily, your so cool! " And she was starting to sound a little crazy! "Such a mean liar like that deserves to be punished! The helpless, scared look in his eyes...fantastic sight! "

But Morgan would have to stop her fangirling, as Ein began to speak. And to her surprise, her deep, prideful words were very...familiar. In a good way, though her words may of been slightly morbid, this wasn't new to her. Morgan found herself smiling though, and even while she wasn't quite able to speak with such passion as Ein or a certain someone, she rather enjoyed listening to it. It brought some nice memories to her, as right now, it was just memories she had. "Oh, you really are amazing, aren't you? You're passionate words are music to my ears.." That may of sounded strange, and even more so that, had it really been her brother saying these things, she would probably of gotten annoyed! "Now..!" She took a step closer to her. The next time Ein opened her eyes, she would see Morgan rather close to her,a playful grin playing at her lips. "Tell me,are you Owian's future daughter? Hmmm?? Or perhaps, another sister I don't know about? There isn't a lot of people who take such passion to their words like him!" So, she had to be related! After a moment, she stepped away.. "Oh, can I ask where this 'Kingdom of Light' is? "

Tina would be in for some serious trouble, had the fight with Jenova went well for their sake, she had left the garden just before she really caught a good look of Soren's expression..otherwise, clearly, she could have been apologizing and trying to stop him for her mistake....

Why did it feel like an eternity since she returned to Balamb? It was only several days, then that turned into a long and awkward discussion of who should go into the ShinRa building. In the end, they never even got to go in and continue their mission. She just hoped that Xero boy didn't continue ether, what was the reason to this point? Everyone should by now know the awakening of the terror, his presence was everywhere. Fortunately, they had left before he arrived at the city to lay choas on the reactors....

But what they would soon discover here, wasn't what they would expect. It was silent, no one was speaking much as she passed them, Balamb Garden was as silent as a grave yard..Did something happen? "....Why is everyone so quiet? " She asked suddenly to the nearest students, who shook there head quietly. That just made her all that much more nervous...

While she continued her way to what was once the party area, she hoped Rikku and Yuna were on there way. Something didn't feel right, for anyone to be separated at this time.

Rikku

User Image User Image

Traveling back from Midgar, Rikku kept very quiet. The Al Bhed engineer didn't even bother cleaning up her smeared makeup. To her, it felt like the weight of the entire planet was squarely on her shoulders -- and Rikku felt like she just let everyone down. She tried to acquire information from Shin'Ra about the Beast. All preparations were made. The new dresspheres were programmed to quietly hack the corporate conglomerate's database. The plan should have worked; Shin'Ra would have been expecting a 'smash-and-grab' tactic from Avalanche -- not a subtle infiltration.

And before they could go to enter Shin'Ra, their mission gets called off.

All from where Rikku started flirting with Xero, and ti seemed to go out of control. The blonde wasn't quite sure exactly when everything went to hell, sending her cousin on the warpath. Feeling like a complete failure, Rikku hung her head in shame.

It wasn't until they had returned to Balamb Garden, that Rikku started to look around. Something was very wrong. Sharp swirled green eyes scan over the scene before her. Several of the student seemed to wander about in shock, and a few of them showed signs of being lightly coated in dust and debris. This spoke of one thing: shock. The closer to the shocked students, the Al Bhed engineer began picking up the odor or cordite.

Ominously, Rikku turned toward the others, "Ummm Rinoa? I think we were attacked, while we were gone."

"More like a slaughter. " A voice spoke out a few feet ahead of the small group. It was Sephriea's, though she wouldn't be surprised if the young tear streaked teenager didn't know her well, she wasn't exactly very social with everyone. "The Beast has his host, and decided to pay a visit here by taking the lives of Zack, Aerith,Yuffie and Roy..He's not to his full strength, yet easily got to Zack. The others were lost due to attacking the Beast for what he did to Zack. Students of the garden that were in the area during the attack were able to be saved my healing magics, and Cloud, Terra and a few other's went to go after Jenova. Why? Don't ask. That isn't going to stop the beast from doing his best to destroy us all.." She paused a moment, her teal-green eyes settled onto Rikku's green swirled ones. "And you? What happened? " Sephriea was hardly one to show concern for others, but with how everything was now, would it really hurt to show some? There was no need to make things worse with an already very stressful situation. "Were you attacked too? Don't try to lie. The eye-make up gives more away then you think."

Giving her a moment to answer, Sephriea began to continue on with her previous informing information. "Before Cloud left. He gave everyone an assignment to find any other Avalanche members and bring tell them to come here while we warn everyone the beast is here, and what he did. But to also encourage everyone that this isn't going to be our end. We'll win and protect this planet as we do best.....Something like that..."

[ I spoke to Aerith, and I told her that I would skip to this RP. It's better and I could RP with you guys. heart ]

It was a gorgeous day, she loved to travel around the world, seeing new people and new places. The best feeling ever, right? Though, she did miss her sister, Snow and her other friends. Hopefully they would be alright and not get into too much trouble, though, knowing Serah she did care for them a lot and once a time she gets worried just thinking about them. "Mmmm. Well, let's see here... I just have to go th--" a voice was heard coming from the back. It was someone familiar but she didn't really know whose its name was. [A character from FF, just someone who isn't available] The person started to tell Serah about a small group of people and how they were all gathering together to attack the 'Beast'. A very powerful threat know in the world now. Thankfully, Serah was really closed to the area and she wouldn't mind helping around either. She'd nod at the person before quickly running towards that area. If only her sister and Snow were here, they really did like some action. "Alright. I should go over there right now!" and with that the pink haired girl, ran over to the Garden.

As she was almost there, she'd notice a few people already. They all had varieties of weapons, they had to be fighters like herself. Serah bit her bottom lips softly, running her index finger through her side-ponytail as she quickly ran over to the others. Serah walked over to the small-group, speaking in a calmly tone but her eyes looking around the area. Just to see whom was the enemy or not. "Hello there.. I'm sorry for the bother but I heard there was something going on here...?" she'd ask while holding her Starseeker weapon.

Sephriea's quick information to the three very oblivious girls was shocking, so much that even Rinoa was silenced for several moments as the teenager continued to explain the situation. While she, Rikku and Yuna had spent so much time at Midgar working on their own plan for ShinRa, a disaster had happened right inside the former ballroom of Balamb. Lives were lost, though already faded into the planet's Lifestream long before they arrived. Rinoa couldn't help but feel a little guilty at the same time, maybe if they were here they could have better protected everyone and they wouldn't of lost lives? These thoughts would remain in her mind for a while. "Is Squall safe? " After what seemed like an eternity of silence, she managed to get get her question out.
"It's Squall. Sure he's fine, he wasn't here when it happened. At least, not that I seen. Lucky him, hmm? He's just the type to go charging in and get killed himself..So he couldn't possibly of been there." Sephriea said rather dully, she didn't seem to be very concerned!

It was then that a young teenage girl of light pink hair came rushing over to them, possibly saving Sephriea a harsh lecture from Rinoa with her presence! Turning to Serah, the silver-haired teen took a moment to over-look the young woman. "Judging by your weapon, you are here to fight? "

"....." That Sephriea, she had no manners. She tried to not let her cold behavior bother her, but at this point it was really getting to be a challenge even for Rinoa. Stepping forward, the blue-clad sorceress tried to smile in greeting, despite all that happened, she would rather not worry her more then she might of already been. "So sorry about my friend here. She doesn't know much about kindness and respect! " She sighed, nodding to the pink-haired girl. "Yes, how much have you been informed of on the situation? Right now, as it stands a lot of our group is gone, looking for more of our members to fight against this threat. When they return there will be a meeting for all of us to attend as the leader of Avalanche's group, Cloud Strife, will explain everything.." She said to her. "I'm Rinoa Heartilly...I wish our meeting was on better terms, but i'm glad to see another person to fight with us.." Gesturing to the blond-haired teenager, Rinoa would introduce her. "This is Rikku, and her cousin Yuna...And this is Sephriea.." Lord knows Sephirea would never introduce herself.
