He wondered why they had stopped, until he saw the Erinyes. It wasn't looking at them, which was a good thing, and he rather thought that it was likely a sentry of some sort, placed their to watch for intruders; It was unheard of for a single Erinyes to be off from its fellows for any other reason.

He pressed past the Dragoness, jsut as they found a second thing ; a newcomer! a feline, at that! he puffed his plumage out as she was shaken out of her tree by the Alpha, but said nothing of it, instead moving clsoer to Larka, finally arriving alongside the Huntress.

" A sssssentrrrry.... We sssshould wait to sssssee if it leavessss, assss I would not put it passst whoeverrrrr summoned thessssse thingssss to keep a perrrrsonal eye on the wherrrrreabouts of each and everrrrry one guarrrding him or herrrrr..."

Elsewhere in the forest...

A young aardwolfess regained consciousness from... from what? What happened to me? she wondered. "W-where am I?" The voice in her ear hardly seemed her own. She peered throught the bars of her cage. Wait!
Bars... cage?! She bolted upright and glared about her wildly. "Where am I?" She repeated again. Then she noticed him. The handsome young wolf, reddish brown and maned like herself, was secured to a tree by a chain about the neck a few yards away. Then Sunshine remembered where she was... and who she was. Not Sunshine. Rainshine now. "Jeff?" she called softly to her mate. The maned wolf had not yet regained consciousness, but she needed to talk to him. "Jeff."
The young hyena decided to try a different method of rousing her mate. She picked up a small stone and tossed it at him. He twitched a bit unconsciously and slowly started to wake. One eye half open, the canine turned in the general direction of his hyeness and muttered, "Rainshine? Where are we?"
She sighed and sniffed the air. Something seemed familiar about this place, but as of now the young hyena was still too out-of-it to remember that this used to be her home...

((I'm currently watching a doco on wolves in the Pollino National Park in Italy It's very interesting))

Kirias looked back at the tigress and quickly lost interest. There was something more important to take care of. She turned back to Larka, "Have you found anything yet?" she curiously asked the Huntress.

kaishin gave up on talking to the tiger. She just didn't seem interested in co-operating. He turned towards the forest, in the opposite direction that the others were going. "I'm going to go hunting now. I should be back within the hour" and with that he disappeared through the trees.

Elsewhere...

A pool of water in a large, round dish showed the events that played out at the Den. "Hmm, even that many Erinyes didn't manage to reduce their numbers". A tall figure draped in robes spoke to no-one in particular. He crossed the rom he was in and took an ancient-looking book from a tall bookshelf. A hellhound was such a simple creature with mere pack mentality. "I wonder how they will deal with something more... unique" he pondered and began to draw summoning circles on the ground.
Deeper in the forest, about 50 kilometres from the Den. A large, black wolf drew the exact same markings on the ground...

((Umm. The circle drawing wolf was nearly a days walk from the Den, or at the least several hours of running. he will reveal himself in due time however...but, whatever. Leran will have to deal with this alone then. *Ominous music))

The wolf that had drawn the circle had fled the scene, using Feral magick to erase his scent. With the circle drawn, his work was done. the rest was up to his partner. the man that had been drawing the circle futher away was also finished. "Hmm Summoning a creature and the teleporting it directly to the forest should have those stupid animals running in circles for quite a while" he mused to himself. He went to the corner of the room and dragged something onto the circle. It was a forest wolf, a male that was about 2 years old. Without a moments notice he took a long silver dagger and plunged it into the wolfs body.

"Alta... Oron... Sundous.... Kameela..."

The summoning process began to work its magic and a void appeared where the circle was. The body of the wolf was drawn into it and then a few moments later a winged creature appeared. It was humanoid in appearence, with dark-coloured skin and long, black horns protruding from its head. Long blade-like bones were attached to its elbows as it fixed its gleaming red eyes on the man. "So for what reason am I brought to this place?"
"You are to kill some powerful, magic-imbued creatures, like the one you just devoured".
The deamon nodded "I see". He lifted his head and grinned "Show me the way".
The man initiated teh teleportation sequence and teh deamon was transported to the circle in the forest. His eyes immediatly fixating on Leran."It would seem that today is my lucky day. I get two tasty treats in as many minutes".
