{It's already been established that he's the rival earlier on. Wouldn't it be more fair to train the characters a bit more before another scrap, since the scrap would quickly lead to the final battle and therefor END THE FACKING RP?

(( no it would be more a "if the super powerful villain shows up, beats them, it gives a motive to get stronger and then in turn have a final battle later on when stronger, this way they also have the goal of defeating him" kinda thing ))

((Too bad. You're out-voted.  Besides, Jaquel's miles away living the good life. It'd take him a while to get where they are, not to mention I don't see him being eager to lend a helping hand to anyone else except for hot girls.))

{Yes, there have been like...at least more than five or six timeskips since he was introduced and they fled. At least half of which being for travel. At most, he'd probably only come after them to avenge his pride from being kicked in the nads by Mala and being momentarilly smacked down by a weakling and a god stuck in a weakling's body. Even then, he seems like the type to wait until they'd least suspect it. Right now, they're really expecting it since the encounter was so recent.}
"Okay, let's go find Riley before he gets himself eaten by a wolf. Like, now." Mala said, her pride having since recovered.

Mala frowned. "You're just too fast!" she exclaimed, not bothering to run from where she was at. Her legs were sort of sore from all of the walking she has been doing for the past couple days, but she'd rather not admit it.

The demon avoided Vans foot and sighed as he trodded along after the group "I think I feel a song coming along, it almost makes me want to sing" he said gleefully

"Why are you even hanging around us anyway? If you think anyone's going to return you to your original size, you're gravely mistaken." Van said, eye starting to twitch slightly from the unwanted tag-along.
Riley walked over to rejoin Mala and Van, though he was wary of Gage. He remembered the carnage the demon had done to their hometown, and while he was now small and mostly harmless, it still scared him a little. Like a kid scared of bugs or other small creatures. Nothing deathly terrifying, just enough to creep them out and make them uncomfortable, leaving Riley to hide behind his sister, clinging to her as he peered down at the demon.

The demon merely grinned ((MONTAGE TIME)) "Excitement abounds~ I almost cant wait, relax I dont want your baby I already ate" he said as he started to skip "I see this village, what does it hold? what shall I butcher them with for fire or cold?" he sang.

"It's because he's a lazy little b*****d who can no longer protect himself, I presume?" Mala said to Van as they continued onward, ignoring the singing. "It's not like he'll be able to grow any bigger slaying innocents. Even if he does grow bigger for killing someone, it'd only be a centimeter per person or so." she said casually, not even looking at the demon as they headed down the path to the next town.

In his first step to growing a spine, Riley took his bo staff, and with a small cry of bravery, slammed his weapon down between Mala and Van, hoping to smash Gage in an instant. He wanted payback, he wanted it gone, and he wanted both now.

The demon stopped singing as the staff came down upon him and for a moment all was silent. "really now? so a jellyfish suddenly grew a spine" with a powerful burst of demonic energy Gage overcame Mala's spell and grew and grew even bigger into a monstrous form, even by demon standards. One arm grabbed the staff and snapped it, once the staff broke the arm retreated into a mass of shadows, demonic eyes, tentacles and limbs came and went from and into the darkness "It seems I will get to have another meal befo--" right as the demon reached for Riley. Mala's spell gained control and Gage was returned to his small size "dammit all" he said with a sigh.

"And that's enough of you!!" Van said punting the little demon off in some random direction while Riley seemed to be on the verge of breaking down into tears if he weren't temporarily paralyzed in fear by Gage's sudden and monstrous growth.

Mala was hugging Riley tightly by now, trying to comfort him so he wouldn't start crying. Inbetween words of soothing she would glance over at Van and mouth her 'thank you'.
