[Leopardstorm's scent filled his den, and he sighed in relief. It was like a remedy for him.]
"Leopardstorm," he said softly, "please...something's wrong with me. I don't want to attack SeaClan. There's this voice inside my head...I thought it was nothing, but today...it took over me, Leopardstorm! It made me say those things, and now, I...I don't know what's happening. Or how long I can stay in control."
[He panted, eyes despereate.]
"I don't know what to do. If I don't get rid of this..thing, many cats could get hurt!"
(( Leo, would it be too early for you know what to happen? :< I mean, I unno. We could just pretend that she was...you know...and den Fathom would do the deed, and go insane and all.))

[Tigerfang rushed out of the nursery after Eaglesoar. Hearing Leopardstorm answer with such ferocity made her fur bristle. She couldn't break the warrior code! Eaglesoar was right. We couldn't disobey Fathom no matter how much we wanted to.]
Hm..such a response is a sign of weakness. No matter...you know what happens to weak cats.
[Not knowing she had a strange, unfamiliar glint in he eye, she came up behind Eaglesoar and laid her tail gently on his flank.]
Like a snake, she whispered softly in his ear. "Only a sign that she's scared...and fear betrays a sign of weakness, and weakness only leads to death...", repeating the words that the voice had told her.
[Chuckling softly, she sat down and licked one of her massive paws, cleaning each long, razor sharp claw one by one.]

[Leopardstorm's ears flicked, and her silver eyes narrowed in concern. She dug a claw through the dirt, then glanced back up, curling her tail around her paws.]
"Well, then you're in an extreme predicament. I...I honestly don't know what can help. It sounds like it's out of your paws. But I'll be here to help you,"Leopardstorm murmured, rasping her tongue over Fathom's ear.________________________________________

[Fathom sighed, feeling comforted by his mate's grooming.]
"Maybe...I should travel to the Moonpool," he muttered, a sad look in his eye. "StarClan might have the answer. As for now, the only thing I can do is delay the attack. If I call it off, our clanmates will become suspicious...it would be dangerous if they knew I was in an unstable state..."
[He paused, mulling it over.]
Finally, he whispered, "Stay here."
[He padded out of his den.]
He yowled, not even bothering to go to the Shadowstone, "NightClan cats! We will hold off the attack for a while. Purekit has a point; the other Clans will probably rally against us if we try to attack SeaClan. We must prepare. Hauntedheart and Honeypaw, you will gather the necessary herbs in the meantime, to take care of our injured. The strongest warriors must train to be as fit as possible. The most excelled hunters, you will train to make sure that your hearing is as sharp as an eagle's claw. You will be the ones who surround SeaClan and make sure nobody escapes to warn the other Clans. Kits will be guarded by queens. Mentors, train your apprentices for battle. They will attack SeaClan's apprentices. We must prepare, so that NightClan will prevail! Then and only then will we attack! I will travel to the Moonpool to seek any advice StarClan has to offer! Until then, prepare, my friends!"
[He backed into his den again. It would buy him some time, and explain why he was going to the Moonpool. If he could be rid of this spirit, he could call off the attack by saying StarClan had warned that they would all be severely punished, which they most likely will anyway. It was a fragile plan, but it had to work.
He sighed and layed down next to Leopardstorm, resting his head on her belly. He could've sworn something moved, but he ignored it, and slowly closed his eyes. Sleep evaded him, but as long as she was there, he felt rested.]

"Then let StarClan keep the peace in the Clans," Leopardstorm murmured, shutting her eyes.
[Her eyes fluttered back open, as she felt a sharp jolt in her belly. She shook her head and rested her head back down, her silver eyes somewhat troubled with concern.] ________________________________________

 Escape is key... Bailey wandered around in the undergrowth. She could smell other cats and decided not to get too close.

[Tigerfang padded into the forest, hoping to get some time to herself and to hunt some fresh-kill. She padded away into some pine trees when the scent of snake caught her attention. She crouched low to the ground and was about to pounce, but was interrupted by a loud yowl.]
Eaglesoar, you mousebrain! she thought indignantly.
[She followed his scent until she could see him just standing there staring at the undergrowth. She was about to give him a piece of her mind every angrily when she scented an unfamiliar cat in the undergrowth. So Eaglesoar was right. There was a cat in the undergrowth. Still, you don't yowl like that when other cats are hunting.]
She shoved him in the shoulder and hissed to him, "Mousebrain, I was hunting a snake!!"

[She looked up at the sky and felt the time was right. Nodding to Foxfur, she crept put into the forest, her pelt lighting up in the moonlight. Careful to stay away from the hunting and patroling cats, she slumk towards the borderline, her heart racing]

[The nerve of him! Catching a snake for her?! She wasn't an elder or a kit! Great StarClan it was more like her getting a snake for him Eaglesoar didn't have to do anything for her!]
She felt her fur bristle slightly in anger as she Tigerfang scowled and hissed, "Don't be stupid, I can catch my own snake,"
[She turned her attention back to the scent she had caught earlier and unsheathed her claws.]
Stupid cat, doesn't it know where it is?! It's going to get thrashed by my claws if it doesn't show itself!
