Bro you just gained about 10,000 awesome points in my book lol. I love Ghost in the Shell the movie is one of the greatest ever made and the series kicks just as much a** with Laughing Man ftw lol and Cowboy Bebop no words can be used other then epic, and EVA is great unlike most I actually enjoyed the last two episodes, I felt that the mental breakdown of each pilot was astounding and thoughtprovoking smile and yes FMA Brotherhood is epic so you should get on it lol :p

yay, glad to see that the few animes I have watched are universally respected. The philosophical and sociological points made throughout the ghost in the shell series, including the first and especially the second movie were by far my favorite trait of the series. Cowboy Beebop for me hit on many levels due to its obvious american influences. The western feel, the art direction is rather american comic inspired, and the way the sci-fi was treated. There was of course some typical anime arch-types in play, but for the most part that was kept to a minimum.

As for Cowboy Bepop, it was created on a whim. The creator of the show was literally told in a a meeting, "Make something with space ships." And thus, the series was born. I love the jazz influences. Did you notice that each episode is called a "session," just like jazz sessions. As well as this, each episode is actually the name of a music piece, be it jazz or even classic rock. I also like the fact that the martial art spike uses (Jeet Kun Do) is an embodiment of his laid back nature. I'm also in love with Ein lol.
For the Sanbi, genin are running distraction, academy students are going to be building reinforcement walls on the shore, LT and his ANBU are going to run bigger distraction and figure the beast out, and I'm...well I've got a super secret plan. LT, I told you about it like six months ago!
FORDON, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN! scream

Well, hopefully the academy students get this instruction, lol. So far all we've heard, is get a canoe and oar, and come to the lake.
Oh yes, and the jazz influence was another step in anime that caught me. It was just that cowboy beebop was done in a way that I had never seen an anime or cartoon done before or since. That show is probably listed as one of my favorites of all time. Not just favorite anime, but favorite televised show.

Well the fight at the lake is getting rather fun, but thank god it doesn't seem like another post from any of the academy students is necessary at this point until more of the actual fighters post and move along the overall arc.
The reason I say thank god is because... I'm a little drunk, and I was worried that the fight had moved along during my absence to a point that I would have to. No need to test if I'm still capable of drunk rp. Yay me!
