Nik honestly didn't either, but how did you tell a child that? Apparently just straight out. "I don't know, baby. I guess we'll have to figure it out as we go along now." And to try and not let Moya worry about it all, that was what he was for.

"Alright Daddy." She kissed his cheek and settled by her mother, yawning a little. "Jane come back with J soon." She yawned again and curled up against her mother's side, shifting to be a little more warm.
Doc Jane came back into the room with Jasin and looked at Nik with a smile. "Do you want to hold your son or would you like to rest with the rest of your family?"

When Nik looked up he saw Moya's eyes staring back at him though the face was Jasin's, smiling and knowing the answer immediately as he moved carefully out from behind Moya, leaving Shilo on the bed with her. Taking Jasin from Doc Jane he sat down in one of the chairs, noting how light he was. "He's beautiful."

Jane nodded and looked back at Shilo. "Nik, I don't know how much this will help, but I've been watching Shilo and I've noticed she knows things faster than we do. My I be aloud to take a small amount of blood from her to test her for what she really is?" She looked back at Nik and crossed her arms under her chest. "I don't even have to take the blood. We can wait until she gets hurts playing with something and what ever little blood you can get on a napkin would work."

That was probably a good idea, but he still had to think about it a moment. Looking down at Jasin Nik realized that he wanted to know as well. What else could they do? "She heals to quickly, I've seen it. Draw the blood."

"I'll do it when she wakes up again. There is no point in lying to her either about why we are drawing the blood but we should still do it for Moya's sake." She peaked out the door before going over to the other chair in the room and sitting down on it, sagging heavily as she rubbed her eyes with her pointer finger and thumb.

Doc Jane needed to relax as well. They all needed it. Spotting a crib meets incubator he set Jasin down carefully, kissing his head before turning to Doc Jane. Cracking his neck he shifted to wolf form, curling at her feet and laying there with his eyes closed. They were all tired. Possibly not Jasin, but everyone else was.

Doc Jane chuckled as she closed her eyes. If someone needed her they would beep her anyway. She was surprised how fast she actually passed out, but excepted the sleep.
Shilo waited until her father fell asleep before waking up and crawling out of the bed. She gently pushed Jasin's bed over to the open chair and crawled on it, standing up on it and looking down at him. "J will be safe, we all make sure of it."

Jasin cooed softly at that, reaching for Shilo. He recognized her as his sister even before he had heard anything from their parents.

She reached her hand into the crib and let him take her small finger, smiling down at him. "J important to Shilo."

Jasin seemed to be glad about that, because he fell asleep still holding Shilo's hand.
A few hours later Nik shifted back and stretched with a groan, looking over at Shilo and Jasin and smiling. "Come on kiddo, let's go find breakfast."

Shilo nodded and gently pulled her finger away from Jasin, getting off of the chair and walking over to her dad. "Yes, lets get mommy food too." She smiled up at him and held up her arms so he could pick her up.

He smiled at that, combing his hair out of his face before picking her up. Shilo knew how to walk, they all knew it. For some reason she still wanted them to carry her. "What do you think we should get mommy?" he asked softly.

Shilo thought a moment before smiling again. "Big bowl of her favorite cereal and big glass of orange juice." She nodded at the good idea and hugged her dad. "Mommy feeds J right? I don't want him hungry too."

Shilo seemed to be extremely close to Jasin. Though Nik couldn't do anything about that, they were siblings. "Alright, let's go get Mommy some fruit loops and orange juice. And yes, Jasin will get fed." Adjusting his grip on her he stared at Jasin for a moment before taking Shilo out to the cafeteria.
