Sin sighed as he continued down the path into the looming city before him. He had been travling for the better part of the day. His feet were cold but otherwise fine, his monk training had tuned his body to adverse conditions so such a long walk was nothing more then an inconvence. He walked through the city gates with little care and walked down the street looking for something along the lines of an Inn. He needed a place to say and he figured it would help his mood if he spent a little while meditateing. Continueing down the street he sniffed the air once.
"hmm... this place stinks..."

Khastur gave Sylph's right hand a small squeeze of condolence before looking back to Issildia, awkward timing aside she was a sight for sore eyes. "We simply don't have time to backtrack, it's too risky..I think we should set this section of the trails on fire, it won't look too suspicious-- they'll just assume it caught from the city. the brush and ash will cover the ground completely-- and the sulphur will mask our scent; I'd say it's our best bet, but we need to work quickly and hope it works. Even if we get the weapons, we're done for if they find us, a sword is useless without a moving hand behind it..." Khastur looked back ahead, "Sylph..Doesn't have anywhere to go...I've seen her bow-work before and-- I think she should come with us." Khastur gulped, his stomach a small wrench, this was a bad time to spring a question like this: but they did not exactly have ample time to discuss it over a brew.

The bar was noisy as Sin sat in his corner eating whatever the establishment here food. It was a messy place yet Sin still couldn't get over the wood chairs, wood floor, wood bar, wood celing, wood tables, and fireplce. Sighing he shook his head and stood up heading to the stairs and his room. He very much doubted that he would get any sleep much less meditation but neither of those botherd him too much. He just wanted a bit of distance from the noise.

Issildia looked at Sylph with a slightly irritated expression but merely nodded, "I'm sure I would never hear the end of it from Khastur if we left you behind." she said dryly before she looked back to Khastur. Sylph seemed to looked rather disgruntled at this but before she opened her mouth to deliver a snide comment she seemed to stop herself and merely nodded slightly in thanks.
"Clever idea, using a fire..." Issildia said with a worried glance back at the city. "Though my father and his soldiers may not need a physical trail to follow...still..." she said before going silent for a matter of seconds before she looked back to them, her eyes narrowed ever so slightly. "Reinsen may even suspect that that fire was started outside of the city's inferno...he will search for the source and expect to chase after...well something." she uttered flatly before her voice began to hold an edge of resolve. "I've spent that last decade of my life running from my father and his kinsmen, I can lead them away from Marley's home and send them into the west, or at least back to Meradea should they decide to follow, it will buy you all at least a few hours to get back to the forge and to cover your trail." she said grimly. "So, if we can get that fire started then I can give the larovians something to chase when they get here. And should the Fates lend us their favor then I should be back within a matter of hours, with the Larovians following the trail of a phantom that leads away from the forge."
"You can't be serious!?" questioned Sylph. "The b*****d has at least a few thousand armed soldiers in Meradea, and you hope to outrun them all on foot?"
Issildia delivered a sharp glare to Sylph, "This isn't a bloody foot race, and I've done this sort of thing before when Anier was at war with Larovia. Lead even a few hundred men in full armor and weaponry through difficult terrain and they have to stop sometime. Imagine that on the scale of those that lay siege to Meradea now. Then I move on while they set camp and lay down yet another trail for them to follow; it really is quite simple." Issildia said with a dry tone.
"Do you really intend to let her do this!?" Sylph demanded of Khastur. "She'll get herself killed before we even make it back!"
"If I didn't know any better Sylph, I might think that you actually cared about the lives of we ruffians ." Issildia said with a slight smirk as she dismounted and tied the lead rope of the horse to the one that Khastur and Sylph rode, making sure to remove her pack as she did so.
Sylph merely frowened at this and resigned herself to silence as Issildia began tearing dry brush out onto the path to set on fire.

Kishoku had remained silent for most of this. It had become become a habit over the last decade having been by himself through its entirety. His expressionless gaze fell before Issilda as he gazed through the matted and tangled strands of his hair. " Perhaps I should go in your stead. This is your journey after all." Kishoku spoke in a emotionless almost mechanical tone. "As for the tracks I came cover them up here and back a ways and simulate them towards another direction." He said, refering to his Valtera abilities. "I'm not exactly sure, if I would be able to meet up with you becasue I have a very limited memory of this forge you speak of. But if fate wills it, we shall cross paths soon." His last words were spoken quite sternly as if there were no other options. He jumped to the ground fromt he horse and its saddle. His gaze fell across all of them briefly, before gazing at the burning city in the distance.

Khastur shrugged "Fine you take the dirty work, Sylph and I will head onto the forge to rouse Streak and Archer; once those weapons are done we're out of here...We need to find some way to sneak up on Reinsen, we don't have an army backing us anymore and it'll take all of our strength just to kill him, so this will call for stealth."
Khastur kicked the sides of horse and continued up the trail. "Good luck."

((now I need some way to get into the RP sweatdrop ))
Sin sighed as he walked out of the Inn and into the streets again. He slowly walked through the city heading towards the gates and the roads again. He glaced upwards at the city walls before passing under the porticals and out onto the road again. he had his small back pack over his sholder and sighed breatheing in the somewhat fresher air outside the walls.
"It will be good to breathe fresh air again..."

((Just so you know Jan, we are currently leaving Meradea, which has been set on fire by the Larovian forces. Either you can slip into the story by running into Khastur and Sylph, or you can have a run in with Issildia and Kishoku. Though do read the last few posts so you know something about what is going on.))

((I know whats going on... Kinda, the general idea of what you guys are trying to do but not the compleat story, I'm horrible at back reading sweatdrop , but I think I got a way into the story now))
Sin was makeing his way down the road his head down just watching the path move undernith him as he continued on his way. Stopping for a moment he closed his eyes and raised his head and drew in a deep breath of air. Opening his eyes suddenly he looked over to the hills. Seeing a flash his eyes narrowed and gave a light cough.
"Fire... a large one too... and then white fire... I need to invistagate..."
Tieing his pack around his sholders he glanced down at the path and then the gound up to the now dissipared flash.
"why do I want to do this again?.... meph it doesn't matter..."
With that Sin suddenly dashed fowards and was speeding along the ground towards the flash. He flew over the landscape the wind wistleing past him.

Khastur finally came upon the cabin after a good round more of riding-- he kept Sylph in the back trailing a long leafy branch of a tree on the trail, this did some minor cover-up for now as the flames grew.
Finally settling in, he and Sylph dismounted--Sylph explained she was going to go wash up, so Khastur decided to check on Marley's progress.
Walking inside the dingy cabin, he saw a complete and utter mess of vials, metal shaving, and old tools. Their old weapons lay on the table, along with a new one-- Issildia's; a slender scimitar inside of a grand ornate sheath; pulling out the blade to investigate, it glowed a bright light of no distinct hue, but raw power could be seen in the mirky silver depths of the blade-- a slow throbbing pain coursed into Khaastur's arm, so he resheathed the blade and placed it on the table, his arm still feeling numb..Marley had enchanted the blades to be possesive of their master, Khastur guessed the less favored or around Issildia you were, the more intense the pain would be; it was a good idea, they wouldn't want to lose the blade to enemy hands. Turning around he saw Marley hunched over his work bench, wiping his brow and grunting as he worked-- looking at the blade Khastur was at a loss for words-- rich platinum decorated with ivory and obsidian adorned the handle, the blade a rich steel he had never layed eyes on..From the blade he felt something..Like Khastur didn't deserve the blade. Khastur spoke up to Marley and asked if this was some sort of enchantment that made him feel this way, Marley nodded.
"Aye, this is a holy blade Khastur-- after some lore searching I find that as one of the only qualities capable of killing Reinsen; the vengeful hand of god through the mighty templar..That feeling you are getting..I have seen your powers, it's a nuetral split between good and evil, between the cosmic magics of chaos and order; this will not do if you want to weild this blade effectively, you must become a man devout-- shone to the light, as this light is the only one that can burn Reinsen..Issildia's blade is different, she has a connection to Reinsen by blood-- no matter what she does she can never be a 'pure' good; her blade is fueled by passion, bloodlust, that insatiable rage only found in a child forced to slake their own father.."

"So..." said Sylph as she returned from cleaning up after the escape from the fire. "You really do intend on confronting Nevar..." she said softly. "You are signing off your life to something beyond yourself...Nevar has never been defeated...even if you have a blade worthy of matching his...or even his disavowed daughter on your side, that is if the manages to make it back from her suicide mission. " she added with a flat expression. "The chances of defeating him are slim. Even then his brother Darsha will take the throne, and he is no kinder of heart than Reinsen. You know my motives for being here, I have an injustice against my people to right and I hold to that, in facing off against the Larovians. But what of you Khastur...why risk your life for such a cause?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As soon as Issildia sighted a flurry of movement within the larovian camp below she bolted off into the edge of the forest. She immediately headed towards the east to lead the larovians farther away from the forge. A few miles to the east of Meradea was a shallow valley where the citizens of Meradea were known to gather their water from the spring there. The terrain to that land mark was rough, thus was the reason that Issildia choose the shallow valley as her destination. Even though the plan was carefully set forth Issildia was caught of guard when the air within the thinning trees of the forest's outskirts grew cold with an icy chill, that was all to familiar.
She instantly leapt up into the branches of a brittle oak tree and maneuvered so she was standing on the back side of the tree within the skeletal branches. As the sound of a group of horses moving at full speed grew near Issildia sunk as far as she could into the shadows that cloaked the tree to remain hidden as the entirety of the elite larovian clandestine unit, the Tel'Domeduathea appeared within the area on horseback. And leading the group was Nevar himself.
As the group passed through; Issildia's breath caught in her chest and she grew completely still to remain hidden. She knew well enough that in her current state with only one of her scimitars in her possession and a scant number of kunai, that death would be certain if she decided to show herself. For a moment the group on horseback paused at a swift gesture from Reinsen as he surveyed the area with a calculating expression. His gaze lingered only for a brief moment on the oak that Issildia had hidden herself in, but he soon turned away and motioned for them to continue onwards towards the east. As soon as the sound of the group dissipated Issildia leapt down from the tree and let out an exhausted breath. This was becoming far more perilous than she had envisioned. Even so she bolted off after the group leaving little to no signs of her passage as she continued onwards.
Sin had made it to the edge of the forest in little time. He stopped and looked at the edge of the treeline and into the forest as far as he could. Takeing a deep breath he sprinted into the trees. He moved around and about the trees with ease as they blurred passing him. Sin slowed down near a shadowed tree and looked about. Sniffing the air he kneeled down seeing the horse footprints he saw they had stopped here for a moment and then took off again. Sin stood and took off his backpack and pulled out a scrap of parchment and looked intentivly at it. Muttering to himself he folded up the map and jumped at a tree climbing up to the top and peering over the treeline. Nodding to himself as if he just confirmed something he jumped down with a thud and immedatly looked east. He saw the small vally on the map and it seemed like the most likely where the horsemen were going. Crouching down like a runner Sin took a deep breath and sped off towards the horsemen with a small thought in his mind.
'Is this becomeing more troble then it's worth?'
During the brief time that the Tel'Domeduathea had to taken a few minutes to allow their horses to rest, Issildia had managed to overtake them and begin the the tiresome duty of setting the forthcoming trail with false clues as to the direction that she had taken. Perhaps leaving a subtle boot print engraved into the dark soil or taking care to tear at the leaves and branches of surrounding vegetation that would imply that someone had most clumsily stepped past them and altered their position in some form or another. She also was rather careful in making the various signs subtle enough that the Tel'Domeduathea and her father would not figure out that it was all a ploy. Though all to soon she caught the distant sound of horsemen approaching once again and silently backtracked into the forest to hide until they passed by once again. Already she had been at this game for the last hour and a half and she had at least that much more to go before they reached the valley that she intended to leave them at. Issildia then resigned herself to wait some distance into the forest as they passed by once again. She did not enjoy this game of cat and mouse, but it was necessary to protect the location of the forge.
Sin slowly came to a stop and put one hand on a tree, panting lightly. He had been following the horsemen for some time now and, dispite his speed, there was no way he could keep up, even though they were takeing breaks. Not that he wanted to anyways, he had been noticeing the trail of whoever the horsemen were following and he knew what was happening. He could tell this was a false trail, the fact that even he could find it told him that much.
Standing up stright he sighed and stopped moveing for a moment. His eyes flashed open suddenly and he looked about. Someone was nearby, he couldn't tell where the person was but he knew he or she was close. Sighing again he sat down cross legged on the ground and looked up at the trees.
"So why are these fine horsemen after you?"
Sin asked to no one as he sat there and pulled his pack in front of him, fumbleing through it to pull out a lump of bread. He took a bite out of it and chewed his snack while looking back at the trees.
"Of course there doesn't seem likely you'll even respond..."
