Kari quickly took Zak's sniper rifal from his unconscious hands and quietly ran away back to Vale and Lillian.
"Oh, that wasn't me. that was Kari that hugged you." Lillian said to Vale. "Here she comes, actually."

The soldier doesn't falter, instead he activates blue shields, then fired mercilessly at Shar.

He dodges Zak, allowing the unconscious bounty hunter to slam into one of the stone walls. "You have to do better than that!" he called, as he continued his barrage.

The man dodge rolls the boy, dropping his rifle. Then the conscious Zak tore off his helmet and threw it at Shar, hitting him in the back.
