xBowserxChanx You know I'm pretty sure that im the only religious one in ghte guild sweatdrop Technically, I'm Catholic. That said, at some point (probably when I transfer colleges) I want to read through the holy books of at least the major religions, along with non-fiction books about various religions, and either confirm my current religion or change to another one. I think that if I'm going to follow something, I should probably choose it for myself and have a good understanding of it.

Used to be.
Not for me.
That's all I'll say for fear of making people leave.
Anyway, I see where it is useful in building morality, but it gets to a point where people get ... snooty. gonk

I lol'd. XDD Just kidding.
@Zephyrkitty: I'm Catholic too, and the only things I don't like is one, we pray to Mary, when in the 10 commandments it says "thou shall have no other Gods before me" and the second thing I don't like is how there are so many different kinds of Christians. To me it seems like people are taking the religion and bending it to suit their lifestyle.

That's pretty much exactly what it is, Syph.
People dont like certain parts of religion, so they beeeend and twiiiist it until it suits their needs. It's been going on since the days of old, and continues to be bastardized even today.

Decavolty Anyway, I see where it is useful in building morality, but it gets to a point where people get ... snooty. gonk There's a limit to what you should be able to do while using religion as a shield is all I'll say. @Syph: The explanation I've heard for praying to Mary (and the saints) is the idea that they can go and ask God for assistance in whatever you're praying for.
