You know you're a band geek when
you're walking through the fair on step to teh music and when you hear a new song you change your pace to match the new music adn you don't even notice.
you like walking on teh inside of corners even when you're not in band just so you can take the small steps! whee
you randomly will work on roll stepping just cause you're bored of walking normal blaugh
at church, your friend is humming one of the pep tunes and you interupt him to insert YOUR school's name!(happened today)

You know you're a flute band geek when you find that no one can hear you outside of band either!
(They should invent an electric flute, cuz no one can hear us with these loud bad playing saxes behind us. I mean just them. I like the sax. Those guys just play bad.)

When you start keeping tempo to every piece of music you hear and the persin next to you (who's a band geek), starts drumming the rythym on the table.

You know you've been in band too long when...
*You have a tan line form your neckstrap, or standing at attention.
*Somebody says "tank"--and the military vehicle does NOT come to mind.
*Your non-band friends now know band terminology
*You get homesick for band
*You name your horn, and feel like crying when it's gone in for repairs

And play the schoold bell tone and laugh as the freshmen leave the room 5 minutes early.

you know when your a band geek when you talk to people who arnt in band and they look at you like your speaking some kind of alien langue.
you know your a band geek when your boy or girl friend breaks up with you becaues they have nothing to talk with you about becasue all you know to talk about is band.
