"i doubt she can figure this out but the woman in her dreams is her mother....... she was murdered when she was 8 along with the rest of her family. Her mother embedded the song into her head so even if she forgot all else she wouldnt forget that...."

Remus's answer was slow and heavy. "I went to find out where she'd gone. She was struggling with Trodan. I intervened, but not before he shot her in the shoulder. We fought and Lina woke up long enough to blast him. Then she went berserk and told me to leave..."

Remus winced and took off his shirt. He waded into the pool, letting the water clean the cut's Trodan had left in his sides. "I gave as good as I got and Lina cracked a tree with him."

Blood. That was all she wanted. All she needed. The word continued to repat itself in her mind almost in a chant. At one point Lina began chanting along withher mind as she ran blindly through the park, draining any poor soul that came in her way, but all she wanted was more. The was what bloodloss did to her and many other vampires like her..making them no more than mere bloodthirsty monters.
She cried out as if in pain as she drained another body, her tears now becoming blood. She was replenished and she knew it, but for some reason she couldn't stop. She found herself in front of the lake and looked upon her bloody reflexion in horror. She was no leader. She was an animal.
