"The Ion Cannon must be protected at all costs. We need to buy the troops enough time to retreat and scuttle the thing after the transports leave. If the generator falls, the cannon falls too, so if the South Wall reports a loss, prepare to evac yourself," Orrin briefed.

Orrin's speeder flew over the ridge, leading the pack. Over the next ridge appeared the V-150 Ion cannon, designed for planetary defense. Approximentally 9 scout walkers began converging on their position, as more began to land.
"WE need to take down those walkers!" Orrin shouted, eyeing the gun systems.
And I hope we dont' get shot down. AT least these things are more fun than A-wings. Those interceptors take the fun out of things with the internal compensators...

"Will you take a look at that!" Zendia absently said, dive-bombing the speeder in the AT-STs general direction, strafing one of the "chicken walkers". The true shot sheared off the walker's leg mid-way, crashing to the snowy ground. "One down, people!"

((poor gunner. His pilot went AWOL. Now he can't even go anywhere. And Ace, in an AT-ST, will be blown to smithereens by his own teammates, ordered to shoot at the oncoming walkers. I mean one of the first three on the first wave have been shot down.... Its like a bad soap opera))

Ace nodded and waved to the kid he had been told to pair up with. He dashed to the hanger bay and grabbed a random helmet as he had not a clue where his was at the time. He pulled it on and made his way over to a speeder and climbed into the cocpit.
