=3 Dia de los Muertos means "Day of the Dead" in Spanish. It's a Mexican holiday celebrated on November 1st, the day after Halloween. They believe on that day their deceased ancestors and relatives come back to the world of the living, so make shrines and put out huge banquets of food to welcome the dead. Since the dead can't eat, they believe the dead eat the flavor of the food rather than the food itself, so if the food is bland and tasteless later, then the dead visited them! It's not a scary holiday, it's a celebration of those who have passed, an honor for the dead. =3 See, here's some of the decorations...

Sugar skulls commonly used for this celebration and becoming more and more of an icon here in the US.

^^;; Yeah, I know the feeling: one of my early OCs went through a huge shift in her a ppearance a few months after I started RPing; she went from short, wavy purple hair with golden eye to a basic shrine miko look. She maintains that appearance today.
Our poor OCs 3nodding my Ken-chan knows that good too, well a lot of my OCs, .. never wanted him to live together with a man o.O'' (that's what you get playing with new friends lol ) he is still what he was before he met Aiglos, okay + 2 kids ^_^° Do you have more male or female OC's? I started with girls (13, 14, 17 and 20 years old) in the first RPGs and now I have more male OCs. ^_^°
I have more male OCs (went back and counted), all them ranging from late twenties - late sixties; my female OCs also vary in age as well. I think they age with me. A few of my favorites started in their late twenties, but they're all somewhere in the thirties now. I also have one or two (favorite male OCs) in their fifties.
I meant Kurama brings back some fond memories for me. Does he do the same for you, Nia? =3
