...The lake?! Aphrodite was telling this girl to jump in the lake? Did she know what was in there? Ares' eyes flashed for a brief moment. He would have to be prepared for anything. Chances were that the lake or whatever had attacked Evermore would recognize that Ari was no threat, but you couldn't be too careful.

Akira's giggle fit stopped short when she heard Aphrodite's dare. The lake!? Oh nonononono!!!!
"Err umm...I don't think the lake...It's not...We shouldn't..." Oh god, how was she suppose to explain this one!? the Dog Hanyou willed her best friend to return extremely soon, or else they'd have a lot to explain if another student almost drowned!!!
Yet, Kilala shook her head and said mentally to her master, "It's alright, we've got 2 Gods and a Demi-God here, plus everybody else. Whatever's in that lake won't dare cause any harm to Ari with all of us around and it might help us explore the lake some more as well...
Akira just blinked, taking in the info. Two Gods!? Who, what!? And she guessed the Demi-God was probably Musica, but wow...
"Umm, never mind...Let's just wait for Evermore before we all go, ok?"

Ari took a quiet breath. What had Evermore and Ares said about the lake? Ares said there was something down there, and Evermore had said that something attacked her. Would it attack her too? What if she stayed close to the shore? Shrugging Ari bit her lip. "O-ok... I'll do it," she muttered. "Can I at least change into a bathing suit or something?"

Ares stood. "I'll go see what's taking her so long," he volunteered. He then walked out the door before anyone could protest, reverting to his normal appearance after it shut and walking after Evermore, hand held out to the side as he conjured some drinks, holding them like a waiter would on a tray. It seemed to be just soda and juice.
He would have, probably, preferred wine or an alcoholic drink, but everyone (except Musica) was underage. Well, and except Aphrodite. But she was in disguise--technically, he realized, so was he. "Evermore." She was standing at a window. Not hard to spot, really.

Aphrodite nodded. "Sure, whatever... all you have to do is jump!" she giggled, clapping her hands. This was going to be an amazing dare! She couldn't wait!

Sighing, he gestured back down the hall. "C'mon back. I got some drinks for you, and... well, we'll need you around for this dare, just to be on the safe side. Aphrodite has dared Ari to jump into the lake." He stood next to her, looking out the window. "What're you looking at?"

Ari nodded. "Then I'll be right back," she muttered, slipping out the door after Ares. Once in the hall, she headed back the way she came. When she got to her room, she dug around in her dresser until she found her swimsuit. Ari slipped into the bathroom to change, and two minutes later she emerged with a towel around her waist. She made sure the ties on the top of her bikini were tied tight before making her way back to Ever's room. Her necklace was the only piece of jewelery she had on, but there was no way in Hades anyone would be able to get her to take it off. Ever.
Trying to ignore the murmur of Ever's and Ares' voices, she slipped back into the room, suddenly self-conscious. "Erm, I guess we're waiting on Evermore and Eric?" she muttered.

Ever's eyes widened and she turned to look back at Ares. She was not happy at all.
"What?! Aphrodite did what?! What the hell was she thinking?! Now she's using someone other than me to see what's at the bottom of the lake?!"
Ever stormed up to Ares and with fury in her eyes. "Why don't you gods just get the hell out of our school and leave us all alone?! You wanted to involve me, fine. I wasn't happy about it, but that is why I was made. For all I know, after I've completed my 'use' I could die. I don't know. But to use completely innocent students?! That's just wrong!"

Aphrodite nodded. She moved to stand next to Ari, and she placed a hand on her shoulder. "Chill... ok? We won't let anything happen to you. Eric, Ever, Your Musica, and I will all be right there! I promise! I'll even go in after you myself if it comes down to it!" she said, giving Ari a hug.

Ares winced at her voice. "No need to shout," he mumbled. He set down the tray of drinks on a conveniently-placed table then turned to face her fully. "Evermore, I don't think Aphrodite knows. She's not against using people, but if you've forgotten, Ari can't really see what's down there anyway. It would be a bit hard, and I doubt she's a good enough swimmer to make it to the bottom and back with enough time to explore."

Caroline was a bit unsure as to what the fuss was over jumping in the lake. It was water. Big whoop. Yeah, it was dark outside, but what was the harm. She'd do it.
"Hey, you know what?" she offered up. "I'll jump in with you, if you want me too. Or keep aerial guard."

Ever stared at Ares without saying a word for awhile. She couldn't argue with what he had to say. She had forgotten Ari was blind, and especially at night, it would be hard for anyone to see.
But then, she thought of something else and she flared right back up. "But she used some of her powers on Caroline! That poor girl could be thinking she's in love with her, for all we know!"
She didn't yell loudly this time. She yelled in a whisper.

Ares rubbed the back of his head. "I... really don't have anything to say for that. It's Aphrodite. She probably wanted to get something out of it. I kinda doubt it, though. Maybe just a little attraction, but from something like this? Nah." Aphrodite wasn't that cruel... was she?

Trent (who had disappeared into the forest for a long while) Had since returned to the school and his little greenhouse of plants. but watching his plants grow was worse then watching paint dry so he decided to enjoy the lake that he had seen earlier, when he was flying.
He sat on the back, in dryad form, his feet in the water. His hair appeared to have changed into long leaves and lush green leaves covered his shoulders and spine. "Ahhh Compared to the people here the druids are a bunch of stuck up nuts." He told himself looking at the school.
