Owle Isohos VTMarik Solution: Can we try and coordinate the posting so everyone who's involved in a scene can be there before the posting begins? I don't think that's a solution, at least not for me. It's difficult to coordinate schedules, and I really don't have time to sit on my computer and just post for several hours. My solution to the problem is relatively simple. Whenever you do something that is likely to be noticed by the people around you, you stop for a minute and take stock of the characters around you. Before moving on, you give each of them a chance to react. And by a chance, I mean 24 hours at the very least. Hell, I waited that long just for Tiel falling on her chair...a relatively unnoticeable occurence when compared to things bursting into flame and horses panicking in the middle of a crowded marketplace. Honestly, it's just courtesy to the people who can't be online 24/7. That's what i was saying. I didn't mean "Let's get everyone together so we can have a marathon RP posting session." I meant "Let's make sure that everyone is on the same page so that when people do post, everyone's there to at least respond once."

Well, if people can only post when one person is online, posting will go pretty slowly. Especially now that school's starting.
Maybe people who're absent will just have to deal with it.
Not that that's what I was thinking when I posted- I just honestly didn't know what Tiel was up to, since I never read the posts that were in the market place before I got there. Guess I learned a lesson. sweatdrop

themightyjello Chaos4546 Now...shoudl I hug you or hump your leg? Oh how difficult this decision is to make... sweatdrop Were it my choice... I'd hug you. ...but it's not my choice, and we all know what you'd rather do. 3nodding xd Actually, since your avatar and Stryphe's are the same, I will do what his siggy tells me to do. twisted

themightyjello so everyone and their grandmother are flocking to Sey AGAIN... I went to the marketplace because it was the one place other PCs were that Tiel could easily have an excuse to get to. She obviously doesn't belong in the temple of light, and 13 year old girls don't do well in taverns.

Of course, Sey and I got to plotting, which resulted in Dan and I plotting, which just got all... plotty. So. sweatdrop

This is a messageboard style forum for a reason.
I don't think anyone's expecting rapid fire posts, one after the other. Rping and posting in general, 'go pretty slowly'.
There are actions to be thought out and words to be looked up, and doughnuts to be baked.
If the many people who are absent would just have to deal with it, there would be no real story or backbone, as at least half would not be able to participate in this rp as much as they may have wanted to.
And yes..you did learn a lesson you nit, backreading is always important, at least, and espcially, when there are only like 8 pages... stare

As the guild mistress was screaming at me ealier, "POSTPOSTPOST!" And how i've had countless messages from other people over aim saying, "Posted!" Including Josh himself. So before you run around getting the impression that people are "nits", consider posting styles and preferences. I haven't RP'd with Owle much, that's all. And I know backreading is important. But it was the "Reading what's happening where I'm not involved" that I forgot to read. So your story isn't straight there either. Chill.

Apparently so. 3nodding
Anyway, there still happens to be a hell of a lotta oil leaking from those barrels. Lao's at the scene to try and stop it from going any further, and I'm waiting for Alcyone to post as Kouji. Anyway, this was a rather interesting way to start WoG, no? cool
Can't wait to see what happens next. mrgreen

Stryphe Of course, Sey and I got to plotting, which resulted in Dan and I plotting, which just got all... plotty. So. sweatdrop I seroiusly doubt that your plotting would alter mine in any major way... but if it does, so what... plans are made to be altered. ::Cackles:: *Considers putting his plot into place after this dinner and one or two more scenes or such...* Oh, and if anyone wants to expand outwards, another 2 days IC in the city and Hikaru, Kenji, and William are heading back to the Koukiyo... with or without Sey.
