“Y-yes.” She smiled happily. Aurora was, for the first time in a long while, having trouble controlling her emotions. The corners of her light blue eyes misted and she quickly wiped her eyes with the back of her sleeve cuff. She wanted to hug him, to express her joy about having a master once more, but that would have been inappropriate here on the hanger deck for her to do so to her wing commander and master. She stood there, in front of him, feeling like a little girl as she tried to composed herself and rain in her emotions. “I would be happy to spend my time with you and to call you my big brother, when that time comes and you think I’m ready to become a knight.” She said trying to keep her voice steady.

Sonya watched Nova put away his second blade.
"What? All that boasting about turning on your full power, and you can't handle a little girl? No wonder why the sith can't stand you. You are less of a challenge than a jedi. And you're how old? Must be pretty embarassing to be kissing up to me."
Sonya clentched the saber tightly, feeling the crackling of the electricty over her body. The urge to sprint came, propelling her forward like a hovertrain.

"Meh, keep yourself together. Being red eyed in front of Stryder will probably not be the best thing to do," Ritt said. Even though he phsyically was incapable of such an act, he knew the emotional feeling.
"We're going to come in and buzz the tower when we get back. We're feeling a bit high strung. From there, we'll get two or three days off, and then we'll see from there."

Stryder, clad in his jedi robes, was standing on one of the hovering platforms of the Senate Hall flanked by two Senate guards as he waited for the Senate to move to the buisness of why he was there to begin with. Several laws and motions had been discussed for the past several hours, none having the least bit to do with the current war or political situation of the Republic.
Supreme Chancellor Navaras, the human former Corulag senator, finished the buisness at hand with a final motion of the senate and moved on to more pressing matters.
"Lord Malcom Stryder, move Forward."
The hovercraft he was on floated into the center of the cavernous hall and Stryder noticed something unusuall, now that he had a better view. Much of the Senate was under guard, and many Jedi that he expected to be there were not.
"Lord Stryder," Navaras began, the Senate Hall's lighting casting a glare off his bald, waxed head. "Do you know why you are here?"
"No, Chancellor." Stryder replied. "I was hopping you would shed light upon that reason."
"So you claim ignorance of your treasonous actions."
Stryder's jedi training kept his shock in check. "Treason? I have done nothing treasonous. I am a loyal knight of the Republic."
"A Knight who left his order to rule an entire system and who has organized an assault on otherwise harmless systems solely for his own gain, which in turn endangers the Republic, of which you claim loyalty to. So in addition to treason we can add warcrimes to the list of accusations against you."
Stryder's mind raced furiously as the implications of what had happened hit him.
"You did not summon me here to assign me a mission." He said quietly as he heard the guns of the senate guards load behind him. He could feel the sights of several hundred guns from around the chamber aiming at him, daring him to make a move. "You summoned me here to arrest me."
"That is correct, Malcom Stryder." The Chancellor said. "You are a danger to the Republic and a traitor to the Galaxy at large. This Senate will not tolerate allowing another Revan or Malak loose upon the Galaxy. And as such you are hereby stripped of your title and placed under the lawful arrest of the Galactic Republic to stand trial for your crimes against Galactic Civilization."
Stryder's eyes swept over the chamber. He could sense the accusation and fear of the senate. They were afraid of him true. He was a powerful warrior and a military genius. But that was not why he was being arrested. He could sense an ulterior motive.
He could have resisted, but that would get him nowhere. The Guards were not at fault, and killing the traitorous senators would do nothing to help him. He would not give in to hate, to anger, or to fear.
"I have betrayed no one. I have done my duty as a Knight of the Republic." With that, he slowly, deliberately, drew his lightsaber and dropped it off the side of his hoverplatform, letting it fall to the bottom of the chamber. "But it seems loyalty has no merit in the Galactic Republic."

“Sorry.” Aurora said, composing herself, but her excitement still showed. “You’re probably right, he seemed a little gruff to me.” She looked up at Ritt as he changed the topic of their conversation back to their leave. “Buzz the tower?” her brows furrowed and she cocked her head to one side. “Isn’t that mean to the tower operators?”

“Ok,” she pulled out her journal from her thigh pocket of her ship suit and opened it. The drawing she had was nothing more than a rough draft, a profile of an land based animal, white in color, with a long muzzle and a long neck, bending back down, as if the animal was rearing up on its haunches and looking down at something before it. Its golden eyes set high and back from the end of the nose. A main of fire like hair ran from its forehead and down the back of its neck, reaching at the sky. A single golden twisted horn rose up out of its forehead, up thought the main of fire. “I’m not done with it yet, I still need to clean up some rough edges. What do you think?” she smiled up at him. “I was going to paint it on the side of my fighters’ hull.”

Ritt gave a slight chuckle, scratchign his head. "Umm... It's great? What is it?"
There was more truth to the statement than origianlly seen, as he really didn't know what he was looking at besides a piece of paper.

Darth Nova maintained his calm and let his reflexes take care of the imminent threat. He ignored all that Sonya said and quickly side-stepped her charge, while sending out bursts of Force pull in an attempt to make Sonya lose her balance.

Sonya stopped her charge, her opponent apparantly losing the will to fight. He wasn't even trying anymore. His entire demeanor had ground to a pure halt, not even attempting to block anything anymore. His anger was gone, and with it went his power behind his attacks. If it wasn't so sad, she'd be pissed.
"This opponent bores me," she said, withdrawing her lightsaber. "There's no point in fighting someone who won't fight with their full strength. I can't stand a coward who doesn't even fight me at his best. Especially when it is supposed to be training."
Opening the door, she turned towards Nova and stared at him. "If you don't wish to respect your opponent, then don't fight. Even Master Tos was willing to show me everything he had. You're still but a jedi, fighting with only half a heart. Kawaii, mobilize the fleet, we're heading for Malastare. I need something that is willing to fight back against me, woman or not."

((Ok, so an entire burst of full strength Force Pulls in multiple directions didn't even phase you? I see how it is now...))
"If that is what you believe, then go on believing it," Nova replied. "However, the greatest mistake a Sith can make is to underestimate their opponent. I would remember that if I were you." On that note he walked out of the door, quickly seperating from Sonya, and moving towards his chambers.
"How Cyberneticus could have chosen such a foolish Sith, I have no idea," he mumbled to himself upon entering his chambers. "She is even more of a fool than Malak was."

Shisstal only practiced simple training exercises. He didn't want to exhaust himself before he would have to face Fury. Things were beginning to work out for him a little better. Once he defeated Fury, his training under Nakara could continue. He still would have to expect the unexpected from Fury. He had never heard of a chain saber before, so how he would respond to its actions remained a mystery. But he wasn't too worried about that. He would just make any changes in his fighting style as he saw fit. The tournament interested him more. He would have to think of something that would at least let him survive through it. Makashi was known for not being a lightsaber form to use against blasters, which undoubtablly many of the other contestents would have. But that could come later. Now was the time to be preparing for his upcoming challange, not dwelling on what might be.

((@ Skuld: seriously, that was a bit short. @Rob: you can't pull in multiple directions. You can only pull one way, towards you. And as you're sith, that makes your power dwindle a bit when you use fighting styles you're not used to. Skuld still needs to learn that too, that you're not masters of every skill known to man. Now what have I said about using RP help?))
Kawaii just stared at the empty room, rubbing his forehead with a clawed hand. Sonya was impatient, Nova was arrogant, and they weren't suited for doing much of anything but being a very skilled meat shield. Right about now, he guessed that both of them were spouting off how foolish each other was.
"I'll never understand how hairless apes have such an infatuation with their own stupidity. It's as if they act stupid just so they have something to complain about."
The fleet consisted of about 800 ships, kept behind the front lines simply for defense of the region. It was doubtful the Jedi would be able to penetrate so far, but Kawaii would take about six hundred ships anyway just as precaution. Of course, he had to brief the pilots about their upcoming mission...
~~~~~~~~~~
The day passed, as Nakara prepped the shuttle to the moon that he and Shisstal would use to get to Fury.
"Hope you slept well, kid. Time is of the essence."
((But a Dark Jedi would be able to use Pull fairly well, and Nova is one. By the way I was saying he was using Pull in bursts while strafing when I said multiple directions. And next time I'll reconsult Rp help when I have a complaint.))
Nova considered the situation while in his chambers. I will simply have to be able to tolerate Sonya because my only other option as a Sith would be to kill her. If anything, I certainly don't want to deplete our numbers any more.
Shrugging his stray thoughts away, Darth Nova began the meditation ritual, slowing drawing in the power of the Force to rejuvenate his stamina and rid himself of his fatigue.
Siren woke up, having nodded off for a while while cuddled with Calliga. They had been at it for a good while before reaching a mutual euphoria, then they embraced, and somewhere around then is when she dozed off. " It seems you really took it outta me, Master. " she said seductively, caressing his chest lightly.
" Why do I have to play babysitter? " Nemesis said to herself, looking down a rooftop in the city. After scanning the area for a moment, she picked up a weak Force signature that bore the same familiarity as the one she'd been tracking for a few moments now. " A-ha. There you are you. " she said, jumping down and quickly making her way through the crowded streets.
After a few moments she came in close proximity to where she sensed the Force signature coming from. Scanning around again, it seemed to moving. Quickly locating it, she hurried towards itand finally caught up with her target.
" You shouldn't be out all alone, youngling. " she said, staring at the back of a young boy. The boy turned around, seeing the near-human's blank expression as he looked up. " But it's boring being stuck in there all the time. " he said, half-whining. " I know. But you shouldn't just run off like that. You're just a youngling and haven't learned to the use Force well enough yet. There are many people who would want to hurt you. Younglings like you are kept cooped up to ensure you stay safe. " Nemesis said.
" But it's not fair! " the boy replied. " No, it isn't fair. " Nemesis squatted down to be eye level with the boy. " But, I'm sure if you asked, someone might be free to take you around town and show you places. " " Really? " the boy asked, seeming a bit happier. " I'm sure one of the knights or masters could show you around and it'd be loads of fun. "
Smiling, the boy took Nemesis's hand as she extended it, and they headed back home together. " This has to be a test on my patience or something. " Nemesis thought. " Why send ME out for something so mundane as this? "
