turayza You live with your cousin? Me too...Anita is too good. -___- Grrr wasted 2.5 hours at a dentist's appointment! Annoying. Yup...school is exhausting. Cross your fingers for a snow day! No, we live "close" to each other. As in like a long walk. Lol. ^^ I like snow. I should make a snow themed avatar one day.

Hmm..are we allowed to pour out our feelings in the Common Room and ask for advice?
'Cause right now I feel like I'm suffocating and I want to jump off a cliff (I love the feeling of adrenaline...*sarcasm* but I actually do...)
Anyhow, my so-called friend wants to tell the school counselors of a girl who's cheating...he wasn't even the victim! But a VERY good friend of mine opposes it and I do, too. But he acts so radically to it.
What I would call "radical" at least calling me names, refusing to listen to suggestions, COMPLETELY ignoring my questions, making illogical jumps to and fro in order to prove his point. That might just be from my perspective though.
He's a good friend, but he strikes down people too often and too freely. I don't know where to balance it out. I've tried to warn him only to me beaten rather harshly. Should I sever my relationship with him (as a friend)? Or should I just stand in the sidelines? Should I ignore it? What.
I'm desperate. More than anything, this was to vent my feelings, so if you feel as if this isn't appropriate, then it's OK if you delete this...

Well, Kita, it sounds to me like your friendship is a lot like Severus and Lily's. Snape was nice to Lily most of the time, but he liked bringing other people down too much. He calls you name too? Well, remember the "Mudblood" incident? I mean, Snape is my FAVOURITE character, but...I understand why Lily stopped being friends with him. She cared about him, and seeing him go down the wrong path when she couldn't stop it no matter what she did was something that she couldn't deal with. And she shouldn't have to deal with it. And neither should you. It'll probably be hard for both of you, but I think you should end the friendship like Lily did. It will make you happier in the long run.

 Welcome Sapphire! I hope you love being a fellow Ravenclaw and that the Haven is a lot of fun! I'm your prefect (but I'm much nicer than Percy). smile
I do agree with Sapphire, to a point. There comes a time in a friendship when it has to be more than one person giving and one person taking - which is what it sounds like he's doing to you. Ending a friendship is hard, especially when the other person is verbally abusive - but if it's the right thing to do.. If you can, I recommend you sit down and talk to him about how this is making you feel.
On another note, I'm on reference letter away from getting my license! And I spoke with my liason and there is a job opening that would love to have me! smile So this next week will be me attempting to wittle everything down to what I'll be needing to be a travel OT. I'm so excited/nervous!

i'm afraid I have to agree with Sapphire and Orna on this one, Kita sad Ending friendships is hard, but it's the only thing you can do if the other party refuses to listen.
And Orna, that's such wonderful news! I'm sure you'll do a fantastic job at your new job! Climb that corporate ladder! YOU CAN DO IIIIIIT!

Welcome to Ravenclaw Sapphire! You should definitely check out the I'm Quidditch Captain, and I know it would be great to have you try out for the team. Plus, all people who try out, even if you already started trying out, will be entered to win a January Sealed envelope! So, you definitely need to try out. Nothing to lose! Congrats Orna!

I'm so painfully truthful at times aren't I?
It kills me a lot in games. It sometimes amounts to broken friendships. It's always been my loss so far. When has it ever been my gain? Ever.
Oh well...
I thought you'd get into Gryffindor! But, nevertheless, it's always wonderful to see new Ravenclaws to bond and get to know with. And thanks for your nice comments on my profile!

You want to stop but there's that addiction that you have. *sigh* The way he makes illogical leaps is very annoying, too. Like I didn't even mention THAT person and he's like "FINE, WHATEVER GO HAVE FUN WITH YOUR ************** ********* ******...." o.o It pisses me off SO much. Oh well. Hey Sapphire, be sure to try out for our Ravenclaw team! We need points and plus, it's going to fun, y'know--playing Quidditch. We MIGHT have a new Ravenclaw again! =D I looked at the new Sorting person (I hope I'm allowed) and she sounds very Ravenclaw-ish. Oh well. I only read the first 2 responses... xp
