Raven and Draco looked at one another. "I'm not sure if the school will ever be safe again." Draco said with a sad look in his eye. Hogwarts had in the past few years been more like a home to him. A place for him to get away from his parents, and his dark reputation. "And I hate that. I really don't want to go to any other school, but there are less and less of us willing to take a stand against him. He watched as Cherry tugged at her sleeve as he did. It was the one secrete he'd kept from Raven. It had never been his choice, and he loathed the fact, but he played his part well. He was sure, however, that Raven may have caught on to his now more pale look. She made his heart beat for the greater good.
Raven frowned. She didn't notice either Draco or Cherry tug at their sleeves. "What matters is is that we have what it takes, we just have to believe. I know we can take a stand, and defeat Voldemort if given the right opportunity." She said clenching her fists at her side.

Cameron noticed Cherry seemed a little uneasy, tugging at her sleeve. Without much thought, he sat next to her, putting a hand on her shoulder, as if to tell her not to worry, that she was among friends here. "Of course we are. And of course we can take down Voldemort, and the Death Eaters. Especially the Death Eaters. They aren't all that bad, if you get 'em when they're not looking. Just point, and..." he held out his hand in a finger-gun, pretending to shoot at an invisible target. Of course, he was talking about casting a spell, not shooting, but the concept was the same. "Even dueling 'em isn't hard. Keep your wits about you, and you'll sail through just fine. It's the intimidation factor, really."

Cherry scoffed. "Yeah... Voldemort. He's so going down. No worries there. It's just the right people and the good people have to take a stand. But sometimes it just isn't that simple is it?" Then she looked out the window. She had taken a glance at Draco and realized he was just as uncomfortable as she was. She felt like they were practically cousins or even brother and sister. It scared her alot when he came to one Christmas party looking as if he was something from Night of the Living Dead. She wasn't sure if he ever knew who her father was, but crossed her fingers that if he did he wouldn't say anything.

Draco caught Cherry's eyes after she finished speaking. He tapped his arm as if to say I feel it too, and your secretes safe with me. Through his father he knew practically everyone, but nothing had prepared him for the truth about Cherry. Knowing who her father's was, and they both shared what was practically a birth mark of the same shape, the Dark Mark, Draco always felt close to Cherry, though never was attracted to her. Raven was his one and only, and he'd make sure of that.
"Cam. Do you remember the old DA group?" Raven said casually. "We want to get it back together, but we only want people we can trust. If we are able to bring it back will you join us? You too Cherry?" Raven said with a smile.

"Not only that, I was in it. Best year I've had." Cam said with a smile, thinking back. He remembered the awe on his face when he'd first cast a Patronus in that class, watching the wolf take a few steps before sitting at his feet, howling in the room. It had been incredible. "And of course I'd join. Anything to bring this place back...even if I won't be here long enough to see it that way, unless I come back as a teacher...I still want others to experience Hogwarts as it should be." he said, lowering his hand from Cherry's shoulder and resting it somewhere between the two of them. Strangely, he found he held no bitterness towards Draco, despite the fact that, indirectly, he'd caused the problems in the school. But Cameron didn't hold grudges, so he was willing to give him a clean slate.

Cherry nodded and looked up at Cam. "You should join too." she smiled in thanks to the comfort his hand on her shoulder had brought. Her father had always said trust and love made a person weak, and she had once been in love with someone who broke her heart. She winced at the memory and was never much into boys after that. Draco was like a brother so she never looked at him that way but felt that he shared the same painful dark burdens. His father was just as bad as hers in some ways. She pitied him the way he pitied her and so she looked at him like a big brother. But Cam seemed smart, and gentle and she liked that about him. She really wanted to spend time just talking and laughing with him. She loved to be so funny and laugh.

Raven smiled. "I remember you no. You casted the wolf patronus didn't you?" She asked. "Mine is a cat. I call it Keiran." She said smiling. "Draco's is a dragon. Could there be anything more fitting?" She said hugging him, her arm brushing against the Dark Mark on his left arm.
Draco winced. "Ow. I had lines, and my hand is still cramped up." He said looking at his arm, and then his eyes darting around the room. Surely no one had picked up the hint of a shady lie. He was doing what he was ordered to do given the fact it meant his life. It's for Raven... Draco thought to himself. He yawned. "Well I"m tired. I haven't finished my Transfiguration paper. Good night my love." He said giving Raven a kiss on her lips that made her smile. "Good night everyone." He said breaking the kiss, and heading out the door. "Good night pumpkin!" Raven called after him. "Man I love him!"

Cam caught Draco's eye as he left. He had watched the way he was acting, similar to the way Cherry had done before she showed him her Dark Mark. He nodded almost imperceptibly, as if to say that he knew. He wasn't going to say, however. "Well...what's this new army going to be about?" he asked, changing the subject. Still single, he always felt awkward when discussions turned toward couples.

Draco, gave one last glance at Cam before taking his leave totally. He adverted his eyes, and smiled at Cherry. She was like a little sister to him. He'd always been an only child. He walked out of Raven's room, and made a right out the portrait hole when he shut the door. He had to go finish what he'd begun for the night. He knew it would be other sleepless night, but it would be one night closer to making Raven his for always. "Soon, we'll be free of all this evil, my Raven" She said under his breath. He used a secrete passage that led him to a dead end hallway. He passed a particular spot three times, and the Room of Requirement became visible in the dim light. "Another long night." He said. It had been a while since what had happened between him and his father, but he was about to put the past behind him.
Raven sat on her bed. "Have a sit you guys." She said politely. She made a tray of hot tea float around the room with out speaking a spell. "Take some tea. The new army will still be called the D.A., or so I think it should, but we'll basically be doing the same things as we were. Training, learning spells, and plotting ways to help the good side. Did I miss anything?"

Cam took a mug as the tray went past, thanking her. "Seems straightforward enough." he said, stupidly taking a sip out of some ingrained, natural reaction. He soon regretted it. After swallowing, he swore in French. It was quite hot. "Do we get to rise up, though? Practice without purpose isn't worth it, really. Well, sometimes it is. But in general it isn't. In any case...we should learn some useful spells, and then rise up. Three houses, plus the good teachers, versus one house...and a handful of Death Eaters. I like these odds. I really do." he said casually, grinning at the thought of wiping the smug grin off of some of the Death Eater's faces.

"We'll rise up. And well, I kind of like the idea of ranks for our so called "Army"." Raven said sipping her tea after blowing on it to cool to surface of it down. "We'll have our professors, but amongst us, we'll need some sort of rank order, You know what I mean? We've come to the conclusion that all of us here in this room will put their thoughts and ideas into teaching as one unit. We're all good at different things." She added.

"Maybe not proper rank order, but I see what you're getting at." Cam said, thinking. He took a sip of the tea, finding it was finally cooled down enough to drink. "I think what you mean is...each of us specializes in a different field, and we teach in that field. For example, I'm not half bad at jinxes and such, so I would help with teaching that...right?" he suggested, looking up at her.

Cherry sipped from her mug and thought for a moment. "I know a whole lot about Death Eaters. How they work and who most of them are. Draco's right about how Death Eaters adored my Grandfather's Christmas parties." she said enthusiastically. "I'd also make a really good spy I think. I can be stealthy like a fox." she said and then looked at Cam and winked. Slowly she realized his hand was close to hers and slid her fingers just a slight towards it. Then tried to be subtle and draw back.

Cam laughed. Every time someone mentioned Christmas Parties and the Death Eaters, he couldn't help but get a mental image of a bunch of masked, cloaked figures sitting at a table...wearing Santa hats. "You know, I can't imagine a Christmas party with Death Eaters. Imagine, for a moment, a bunch of guys in masks and cloaks sitting at a table, wearing Santa hats, popping crackers..." he laughed again. When he finally calmed down, he felt something brush his hand for a moment. He didn't have to look to see that it was Cherry's hand. He moved his hand over a little as well, taking a sip from his mug.
