A lone Pokeball rolled off of Leslie's satchel, releasing Church to enter into the SNAG once again to send the files to GRAY. Taking advantage of the access route provided, Church would attempt to analyze the AI's data in hopes of discovering either upgrades it could do to itself or what exactly allowed it such free flowing thought.

Reno, having manage to rampage across most of Johto and do, in order: crash through each of the Gyms and wreck havoc, bank off of the radio tower and pick up radio from Tesei's shell temporarily, witness the exact effect that sonic waves can have on most materials with it managing to open windows and steel doors, and pass through the Sprout Tower twice...again. Finally having set course towards Mt. Silver, Reno received the message from Kairi. Reading it and figuring out that she had her memory back, the red head simply continued along with an expectation of nothing good, as per usual. A slight yipping would attract his attention, looking inside of Tesei's shell to find the indignant black ball squeezed in beside a Vulpix. Blinking at the oddity, he simply picked the Vulpix out and began holdin in his armsl, unsure as to how it ended up there but making sure to add it to the list of thing he managed to do in an attempt to find home.

Walking into the base and tracking Kairi down to her room, he slowly entered the room. Still holding the Vulpix, he sat down in the room with no idea if he would be so cheery after this.

Kairi looked up when Reno entered the room, and she sat up. She wiped away a few stray tears that were rolling down her cheek. She didn't know when she started crying, but, she cursed inwardly at this show of weakness of hers. It was bad enough that she was feeling so.... so.... She still wasn't even sure, but, it didn't matter. She felt uneasy. Even more so, she felt like a traitor. Her head was held rather low, and she gave a rather sheepish look to Reno through strands of her dark red hair. "Hey..." she finally said, breaking the silence. Unsure of herself, but, curious as to something, Kairi stood up and walked over to Reno, sitting down next to him. Her face was beet red. "I'm sorry about forgetting about you for a while there. I can't imagine how that must have been... Having to deal with knowing that your girlfriend couldn't remember you," she mumbled, looking away. She hated apologizing with a passion, but, it was genuine, which would be obvious in her tone. The redheaded girl sighed, and found herself leaning against Reno slightly, likely an old force of habit that she hadn't been aware of. She was beginning to feel like this whole conversation was a bad idea, and she could feel an aching in her heart. However, with one last stroke of curiosity (and a tiny bit of courage), Kairi found herself with her lips pressed to Reno's. A few moments would tick by before she drew herself away, a rather defeated look on her face. This whole situation felt... wrong. Kairi wasn't sure what had happened, but, things didn't feel the same to her. "I'm sorry, that was... really quite sudden. I..." Kairi cut herself short, unsure of what she was trying to say. Her chest still ached, and she knew what she needed to do, but, could she do it?

Kairi just looked at Reno for a moment, a hurt look in her eyes as he spoke to her. "You're only half-right Reno... I... I have no intention of going to Kain right away. I need to work out my own feelings before I can do that. You are right in the sense that I don't feel right being with you anymore though... I... I do love you Reno, I do... I just..." Kairi stammered through her words, trying to find the right things to say. All she managed to get out next was a choked sob, her eyes filling with more tears, her body shaking. "I'm so sorry, Reno... I never would've thought this would happen. Not in a million years..." her voice lowered, becoming a near whisper. She wanted so badly to pull away from Reno, but, due to the aching in her chest, and the sobs that were still wracking her body, she found that she could not keep herself from leaning against Reno. She felt horrible for all that was happening. For a girl who usually stayed as emotionless as possible, she sure was showing a lot right now.

"Okay you two, Odd is ready, the stage is set, all we need now is our star. If you would please, get Blizz out here...oh! And now that I think about it, why don't we have one of his Pokemon out already too, like they are battling already. Did Blizz only use Ice types during his gym time? I doubt it but I've never seen him partake in a gym battle so I have no idea...I'm sure one of you know. Either way, go fetch him, please, and thank you." Sub said to Psy and Telia.



Something strange happened to GRAY at that moment. While he had the ability to understand, and manipulate emotions, he lacked the physical form to truly display them. The Porygon line had a physical Pokemon form so they were able to display things like joy and sorrow, but GRAY, could not. Perhaps this was his reason for loathing the Porygon family, for he too wanted to be real. But it was Leslie's Porygon, and its act of digital pity on the AI, that awakened something in it. GRAY could feel the Porygon's pity, he didn't know how he could, but he did. It made him feel...happy. It was in this brief moment that he didn't feel alone. He was grateful to the Porygon, and the digital Pokemon could probably feel his gratitude as well, but with GRAY being himself, he didn't verbally show it.

"...well, if you're done...please leave." GRAY said to the Porygon without his usual sarcasm, and even asking for it to leave in a polite way. Maybe, this was GRAY's way of showing his gratitude towards the creature. Deep down he wished there was more he could do to return the favor, and maybe he could find a way to later on, but for now, this would do.

The Porygon would give a small bow to the AI that had shown such gratitude, Church decided to leave a small present for GRAY. Putting some effort into coalescing some of it's own data, a smaller version of itself appeared that appeared to be linked to Church. Giving a digital wave and using thoughts to make the remotely connected smaller Porygon do the same, Church disappeared and made the smaller Church begin to try and connect with the AI.

Kairi, unsure what to do as she had never seen Reno like this before, simply ended up hugging the redheaded boy. Pulling him closer and resting his head against her shoulder. Despite her usual cold nature, and how emotional she currently was, seeing Reno in just as much emotional pain as she was struck something in her, and she found herself running her fingers through his hair. She didn't say anything, as the tears streaming down her own face proved that she'd be nearly incapable of speech at this point. She wished she could do something to prove to Reno that things would be alright.

During this embrace, Tetra, Kairi's Houndour, would release herself from her ball. The young pup attempted to get to the Pokeball that would contain Reno's Houndour. If she succeeded, this would be a great way to show that, despite the fact that the two redheads would no longer be together as lovers, they were still deeply connected, and that they could never destroy the friendship that kept them going during the hardest of times.

Kairi took in a deep breath, and leaned back, placing a hand gently against Reno's face. "I'm sorry you've been through such horrible things lately Reno," she said. Her tone made it difficult to determine whether the apology was sincere or not, but, looking into her single, golden eye would prove there was a great deal of sincerity in her words. "I will always be here for you Reno, always. Even if I have a horrible way of showing it, I do care for you a lot..." the redheaded girl trailed off, realizing just how mushy she sounded.

Tetra, happy that her friend and mate was now beside her, nuzzled her nose against the other Houndour's face, and pawed at his chest. Her tiny stub of a tail wagged happily at seeing the other pup again.

Coming down the hallway towards the current scene, would be Dante, his Vulpix on one shoulder, and his newly caught Pikachu on the other. There would be a light knock on the door to Kairi's room before he entered. "There you two are! I've been looking for you for a while now," he said to the two redheads. And then he noticed their tear-stained faces. "Wait, are you two okay? What happened?" Kairi didn't answer, she simply turned her head to stare at the blue-haired nuisance and glared. All signs of any other emotions gone.

Lykas walked out of the training room after Eris disguised it, choosing to not be present for Odd's battle with Blizz. Opting to do a bit of training of his own, he went outside, ignoring Reno and Kairi in the main room along the way. Once outside, he'd release Fog the Seel and Tallulah, the Seadra he'd caught on the Whirl Islands during his most recent training mission with Master Varuna. Without a word, he began to train, the two Pokemon picking up on the human's chi pulsations that they were supposed to fight him.

Odd, meanwhile, looked to Beat and nodded, the Marowak walking forward and picking a random Pokeball on the Articuno man's belt, tapping it with his bone club and releasing the Pokemon within, explaining the situation quickly before returning to his own position.

"Hey! Are we battling or what, bird boy? Do I bore you so badly that you fall asleep before we even get to the good part?" Odd shouted in an attempt to wake Blizz once everyone else was hidden.
