Ertai Vexic For one "Natural" for one Human or being is may not be "Natural" for the other. The way this is worded is that if a human with un-natural abilities would cross through this barrier or mist than he or she would be affected in such a way. Nice try but you fail at wordplay - he clearly stated that all abilities a normal human being could not naturally use are removed. As such, every one of Ertai's natural and unnatural abilities are disabled, due to the fact that normal human beings could not naturally use them. Hell, Ertai wouldn't even be able to move. Ertai Vexic Your logic behind that ability is broken to the point where as soon as it starts it is destroyed because it is un-natural for someone like you to use such an ability, thus it would crush itself. Just like a magic immunity casted by magic would destroy itself because of its source. Your barrier has fizzled. Thus this would lead to your death. Choosing an explanation of other people's techniques that leads them to not work is godmoding as well, especially when there's other techniques that work just fine. An anti-magic spell would simply aggressively assault and destroy all other magics used in its area of influence by attacking and dispersing the essential low-level functions common to ALL magic (namely, the energies that power them and the forces that shape and organize said energies). Also, yoohoo, Ertai-honeybuns? I'm still wai~ting~! Binatica Well, there's my mechanics. Where's yours? After all, you claim that saying "they just do" makes someone an utter failure at RPing, and I for one am willing to accept such a title from you after I hear your beautiful mechanics that explain perfectly how your abilities work at the core level!

Very well I do see that now, sorry that I missed it when first reading the post. But never the less your entire mist defeats itself as well as you. Thus one reason why you are defeated.

There is no set standard for what 'normal humans' can or can't do, nor has Deity seen any evidence that any sort of force has the ability to immediately reduce all 'unnatural' abilities - some that come naturally to the user - to nothing more than lost powers.
Here's a quick example...ki energy - chi energy, for some who spell it that way. It's a form of life energy, not magic. Stepping into a room that nullified ki would kill you. Ki is natural, and hence, wouldn't be nullified.
If a vampire who could run faster than sound walked into a room that prevents unnatural abilities, he'd be unnaffected, as he can do that naturally. If he would be affected, then anyone who walked into that room would become weak, slow, of average intelligence, and with no fighting skill whatsoever. Because that is apparently unnatural... =P ...humans are not born with martial arts or great physical abilities.
...to boil that nonsense down, here is Deity's point...there is too much separating natural from unnatural, especially in a fictional roleplaying battle tournament. It's a dumb ability...narrow it down to a barrier that nullifies [so-and-so-and-so-and-so], not everything that hurts.

Let's say Ertai's attack clashes with Milky's barrier, a weird rift in time, space, reality, and freakin' reason itself (absent until now in this fight) forms. The resulting blast reduces both Ertai and Milky to the motor functions of infants. Continue from there.
Key to victory: Drool. Lots of it.

Chi is not normally something that can be used as a fireball.... Chi is a life force or the strength of a human it can't however leave the body in an unnatural way, like being used as a fireball. When in the history of mankind did a human create a fireball out of thin air from nothing but his palm? Never... It's common sense folks.

Jesus H. Christ! If I post the proper way to handle this situation which is to assume the water is nothing but vapor, which has no effect to me, or throw the god-modding card out because you assume it effects me because you say so. It will result in one large arguement.

Do not assume your barrier works on me when you cant even explain how it is created or how it comes to be, you just say what it does. I am sorry but I need to know the details behind something to see if you even know how to do what you are doing and to know if you can even stifle such a post like mine.

How about I step out of physical refrence and destroy your barrier or even take it over? What can do you when I react to the reaction of your physical existing barrier and redirect the influence and psionical links to that of myself and control it?
How would you like it if you only affect a physical shell of Ertai and took an entire onslaught of destruction from a place outside of this existence or even my projection into the very essence which creates your mist.
I know hundreds of ways out of this bullshit post, I just wish you to ******** post correct and quit dicking around with me. I show you respect in my post, show some to me.

[/latepost] It's more of a seal than a negation, dude. I addressed this three years ago when I first decided to classify ki/chi/chakra as magic. Chi itself is natural and necessary for life - however, controlling it is not, and therefore the ability to use and control chi would be sealed by such an ability. Likewise, as for your "vampire running at the speed of sound" idea, that's not natural human abilities - the legs are strengthened and their speed increased, and their resilience and endurance heightened far beyond human limits. Therefore such an influence would merely negate any unnatural powers acting upon the legs to increase their capability, and also turn off the endurance buffs affecting the vampire's whole body - good luck running at the sound of speed when you tear your own legs apart while ramming your brain against the back of your head just from trying! And even then, senses can't be trained, so the unnatural senses which would allow the vampire to hear, see, and react at those speeds would be sealed as well - leaving it grandly unsuited to using those speeds. And the "it's a seal" theory also fixes every other problem you people have with it, too. Seals can't seal themselves - they're the exception to their own field of influence, and thus an unnatural-abilities seal would be literally unable to affect itself. Likewise, seals can't be broken from within the seal - you'd have to get outside the sealed area and attack it, and if it's selective (as unnatural-ability seals are) then you'd probably have to hit it with something it doesn't select to seal, or else destroy the seal's power source (often the caster, if it's a field-type seal). And, no, that doesn't make a contradiction either, because the seal can draw power from its caster's sealed ki/chi/mana/energy/power/chakra - the caster can't use or utilize it because of the seal's effects, but the seal can.
