Raveena shifted her stance instantaneously, veering in a direction she wasn't even sure she knew. There were times such an action took her off guard, but she knew better than to not trust her instincts. Her senses knew where to go, and she was tied to Light for this; he was summoning them to gather with him. Before she realized, she pushed the doors to the Throne Room open, her gaze flickering around in a brief assessment. She padded silently, her bare toes silent, leaving only the rustle of her dress to create a scant echo within the large room. She stopped briefly, four feet away. Gazing over her left shoulder at where she came, Raveena wondered if she should have payed better attention to how she got there. Her mind had focused on getting from point A to point B that it did not see what was inbetween. A tiny smile lit her features, but she gazed up to the man on his throne with a nod.

"Grieevos, Lucas,"

Raveena's natural Matreyan accent took hold as she greeted him,
"It is that Raven is present, yet I am in her place; it is as you would say, she is my Proxy. Raven can no longer be present until my positive energy meshes with chaos energy Raven has trained to work with. Progress was made at such a price."

Still sitting calmly on the softly covered bed, Wyndom's eyes would suddenly snap open. He couldn't tell if it had been minutes, hours, or days...perhaps even weeks? Shoving the thought from his mind, Wyndom stood up and observed another platter of food which had replaced the remains of his last one.
It was cold.
The sudden rising from his bed caused his legs to cramp up, and he faltered as he tried to remain standing. His legs then went numb and tingly, a feeling he hadn't experienced in awhile. This caused him to grin in the midst of the discomfort as it reminded he that he was still very much human, such a common and simple thing as sitting cross-legged for too long. Not to mention he was starving...

He wolfed down the food quickly, and to his great joy the women who was placed in charge of him entered the room just at that moment, carrying a new platter of steaming food. He gave her a quick thanks, and set himself upon quickly finishing that meal as well. Replenished and satisfied, Wyndom grabbed his cloak and walked out the door, heading to meet up with Light and the rest of the crew. He was a bit dissapointed that he had gotten so lost in his meditation and hadn't gotten around to practicing on a physical level. Judging by the battle with Rogziel though, being able to better support his team was an extremely useful skill...though not one he was used too.

Wyndom's thoughts came to a close as he found the throne room before him. The doors were already open, and he saw Raven and Light inside, but something felt off in Raven's spiritual energy, something he normally wouldn't have noticed a couple days ago. Was it because of his prolonged focus on sensory perception?

"It is that I am not Raven." Answering the unspoken note of intuition, Raveena nodded with smile to Wyndom. "It is nice to meet you, Wyndom; I am Laa'zera Raveena. I...am not quite sure how well to translate it, but it is closer to a Princess, I think?" She knew it was very hard to explain a culture to anyone when it truthfully no longer existed. How did one explain that the relics of a lost empire were lost in her mind somewhere? She looked identical to Raven, down to the last imperfect split end. Though her energy signature, and the stark contrast of Raven's green eyes, opposed her very deep blue ones framed by her ebony bangs. Even though Raven was always on edge, or lost in her thoughts, Raveena maintained a tiny smile--very poised and calm. That was always her duty as a Royal, to maintain a genuinely pleasant atmosphere with those around her.

"Raven was training with Chaos energy, and managed to contain it. With it, the chaotic part of herself--Corvus. Together, Corvus and I create Raven. So in a sense, she is present, but only in fragments."

As she turned and addressed him, Wyndom would also note the different color of her eyes. He wasn't quite sure what to make of her different personalities, was this a regular thing for her? He would find out that answer with time, he supposed.

"Pleasure to meet you...ma'am?" Wyndom replied, not sure if he should speak to her with more respect or not. He wasn't familiar with her culture whatsoever, so not speaking to her with some sort of higher acknowledgment could prove a grave error, but he highly doubted it. But hey, better safe then sorry, right? Come to think of it, Light was the leader of heaven now, was Wyndom supposed to address him differently as well? He knew Light well enough that he didn't care so much about that, Light wouldn't take any offense over such a trifling matter--Why are my thoughts rambling so much?
Is it because of the training? How long was I out for anyway?

It was becoming harder for Wyndom to focus on things other then his thoughts at the moment. They were so outrageously loud and overwhelming that he wanted to scream out for them to stop. Just what was going on with his head?!

(phone post)

"Hm. I can feel her- the both of you. You've grown, I can tell. In a number of ways we are rather similar. You know this all too well, Raveena"

Lucas, or "Light" as he was far better known by had spoke to his comrade cautiously. He warned her in a subtle manor as she didn't need to hear what she already knew: corruption took in all-The strong and the weak. Even here within a sacred realm the seeds of corruption could grow. However as it would appear these seeds had already grown! Throughout Heaven there was much chaos and discord. Now was the time to focus!

"Wyndom, my friend, how are you feeling?"

Lucas' electric blue eyes put Wyndom in their gaze, a friendly smirk playing upon the Imperfect one's lips as he walked towards Wyn and Raven.

User ImageOni had long since left the infirmary and Roy's bedside. He left Roy a note explaining that Kikyo had returned from the dead but has lost her memory. The note also left instructions for Roy to do his best to help Kikyo regain her memory. As for Oni he had been wandering all of Hell in search of something, but what he was searching for was unknown even to him. It was as if something was calling to him, pulling him to some unknown destination.

Ki would yawn from under a tree, his body with days of rest finally restored to strength and then some, his sword was restored as well as his armor, this was a good sign for him, however he knew it wouldnt be enough, so he trained and trained within the field by the town.

a feeling would overcome Ki something was amiss, what was it? could it be a summons of sorts? he felt a urge to return to where Light was, it was...uneasy so to speak. After Grabing Razorda and placing it on his Back, Ki jumped from step to step to speed across the town, the field had gashes and holes that were easily made from attacks that Ki never had before, A renewed Strength perhaps? it was remained to be seen.

Ki landed on the top of a Roof of one of the buildings leading to Light's Keep. no sooner one of Lights servents would appear next to him.
"Yeah...I know..."Ki knew it, And he didnt like it, He'd jump again over to the door and sigh, as he uses his pinky to push open the door, and begin to enter to meet with light, What could this feeling mean? he was hopeing to find out.

(my god it's been awhile and im rusty sad sorry everyone busy busy summer!)

(( No probs. I was barely on Gaia this summer either.

Anyway, I plan for this filler to keep us all at the edge of our seats. smile ))

"Ki! There you are. You look like you've been training hard as usual..."

Lucas gave Ki a friendly smirk before glancing out one of the windows. Although the skies were clear and the sun was shining the sense of an abysmal darkness stalking the realm was felt deeply by the Imperfect One. And by the looks of how his comrades were acting they were feeling it too.

In fact...

"This feeling..."

The throne room shook suddenly but not too violently. A dark feeling would pulsate within the throne room as something cracked and shattered. Looking to the windows, Light saw that nothing had broken...but the feeling of vulnerability had came upon him suddenly.

As Oni traveled he would suddenly find himself engulfed in darkness. There was no sign of life or even Hell itself! Time did not exist here and there was no telling what could happen at this point. Oni would just have to be patient until something happened. However the sense of time did not exist here. Just what had Oni stumbled upon?!

-

"............................................"

Oni was to be left alone with his thoughts. He'd be wise to keep sanity a close friend as the abyss seemed to have had Oni trapped. But the feeling of being alone would steadily slip away. The darkness seemed to be...watching Oni. The blackness around the leader of Hell now seemed to twist and weave around him greedily. Was this all in his head? Still no answers were given and still there was no way-

-CRUNCH-

Beneath Oni's right foot the sound of something breaking pierced through the eternal silence. Looking beneath his foot, Oni would see what looked like a blue-grey diamond shattered beneath his foot. And then his eyes would catch the pieces of more of these diamonds trailing off to a field of the same colored crystals. Just what the hell was going on here?! Each diamond was glowing faintly but getting too close would prove dangerous. Oni's energy would weaken around these crystals if he got too curious and decided to draw near. But where did these crystals come from?

"................................"

The crystals now would dimly illuminate the back of a throne in their blue-grey luster. Nothing at this point was making sense! And to add to the puzzle, a single figure stood from the throne without a sound. Their frame was twisting and weaving like a flame or perhaps a veil of smoke. Then suddenly what sounded like a hiss and a laugh echoed within the abysmal darkness. Words were not spoken yet Oni would understand. Enlightened, Oni would know the message this entity had to give.

ALL WILL END AND THE WINGS OF FATE WILL BURN.

Then without warning Oni would be dumped behind another throne. Although this time it was the throne of Heaven's leader, Lucas!!

Wyndom's thoughts continued to fly through his head so much so, that he even attempted to manipulate his own electric brain waves to cancel each other out, and form a blank mind, but he couldn't seem to focus to do that. This was quickly becoming irritating!
Then a voice, louder then the rest, spoke and asked how he was doing...it was Light. Wyndom remained composed on the outside, hoping that with time this would subside, and he would regain control over his powers. Besides, he thought he felt whispers...like something was using this to beckon to him...perhaps there was a reason why his mind was infested with so much information. Wyndom needed some time to figure this out...and some quiet, but he wouldn't get that so long as he had his mind with him.

"I'm fine, Light...did you need me to do something?"

Wyndom wasn't sure if he should let Light know that he was powerless for the moment, but he gambled that this wasn't permanent, so he didn't want to cause any un-needed problems right now. Besides, it looked as if---"NYGARD!!"
And with the sound of that voice shrieking inside of his head, drowning out everything else, Wyndom slumped to the ground, and vanished into a dark shadow, laced with red electricity...!

"Ki--"

Raveena's hand flew to the cord across her chest. The move had been practiced hundreds of times, and the swift fluidity of her movement--her dancer's lithe as all Matreyans carried--had the Naginata catapulted over her head, firmly gripping the Mahongany shaft as the blade hovered inches from the ground. Her mind was not as trained as Raven's. Her strength was not as such as Corvus'. But she retained the same information as both entities, and this made her an equally formidable opponent. Raveena was of Royalty, and though trained for Naginata-jutsu, so were all the ladies of the Senarian Court. The Fujin-Ryu was her legacy, something Raven had learned from her. But Raveena was by no means the elite fighter Raven was. Her mind sharpened, focused on the split-second change of events that had occurred. She did not have Jesta'--Raven's Daemon Panther. She was not even sure if she had a Daemon at all now that Raven ceased to exist for now. At that very moment, a twinge of helplessness flitted over her. She had failed Matreya as its Guardian and future heir to the Senarian throne. She had failed to keep Noah alive, and nearly failed with bringing Rogziel down.

Her mind was unguarded, though. The usual dull roar of thoughts and voices of those around her were no longer present, but her mind was equally defenseless. The only weapon Raveena was truly equipped with, was her Will. Determination was Raveena's strongest virtue; it was in this manner that Corvus had been born. It was the single trait the two otherwise opposite beings shared, and what ultimately linked them to Raven's existence. Whatever was happening, Raveena knew she would be determined to keep things as they had been. Wyndom appeared distressed, and now he has vanished! Raveena was determined to have her comrade back. Even Light felt unease, and she herself felt unease and the feeling of helplessness settled over her like a thin barrier. But it was minuscule and thin, because her determination held it at bay.

Veering to the side, she had been facing the throne room, her stance recovered the moment she brandished her Naginata. Her feet were cold against the floor, yet the adrenaline of the sudden shudder, the feelings, all of it occurring so suddenly, had Raveena sharply aware of every minute detail. She found herself flanking Light's right side, her blade hovering. The intensity of her eyes hardened, as though the blue had frozen to Ice. It seemed as if the marble drew upon the coldness, perhaps it did.

Garakon The Last Soul Demon

Garakon was in his private chambers. Small and not much to offer in the means of anything. Since the change of command with Hells leadership he had been able to do nothing but train his men. Kilo company was nearly ready for what he wanted them to be at. Their bodies had bulked up and the smallest weakest of the groups demons would be able to take on more than some of the stronger of the other companies. Routine had been established and the company was stable and tough. Garakon was bored however. The chair wasn't a comfort. He was angry but unable to do anything that wouldn't threaten his position. He had thought of doing what he originally planned before Satan had trapped him but in hells current state it would have been pointless. He could not go and make a new branch in the struggle for power. No one knew him anyway so it would have been pointless.

His anger seethed through his armor. It was felt as is power was emanated within the room but would not leave the room. It wasn't long before there was a knock on the door. All of his power was instantly pulled inside of him. It was one of the lower ranks merely giving him a daily report on the stats of those under him. This was his way of making sure his men got stronger. There was a method to score them physically and power based. Garakon had been using this to push them hard. They would get bonuses for great accomplishments and reprimands for laziness. Using these methods he had trained them into beasts. He had even gone to the extent of having them train with fake weapons and trained them to fight in groups and single based combat. He was more than sure his company had risen to become the strongest group once again.

Maybe with all this the new leader would realize he was valuable for more than what was given. Two had challenged him for his rank this week. They where like ants in comparison but for the actual position would have probably been pretty good. They where both from different areas. None of his own men even had the dares to try. In fact they had all grown a respect for the demon. Garakon read through the report. One specific demon had not had much change in a few days so he stood up. It was time to fix this demon or find the problem.

DEATH IS NO LONGER FREEDOM
PostPosted: Wed Sep 08, 2010 5:59 am

User ImageAs the darkness engulfed him, Oni didn't even seem to notice. He just kept walking, the thoughts that plauged his mind seemed to have control over him more than his surroundings did. That is until the sound of something breaking seemed to echo around him. Stopping dead in his tracks Oni would begin to look around curious as to where he was, but with no clue to the answer. Looking down as he lifted up his right foot Oni would see the blue-grey diamond shards, and then he would spot even more that lead into a field. Oni was curious, but he never cared much for gems or treasures so he would leave them be out of habit.

As the figure rose up from the throne in front of him Oni would only smirk as he reached for his scythe, thinking that he was going to have a fight on his hands. Before he had a chance to grasp his scythe a hiss and a laugh echoed around him within the darkness. It was true, Oni had recieved the message but before he had a chance to reply Oni would get the sensation that he was falling. That sensation would stop as he landed hard on the ground behind Heaven's Throne.

Of course Oni had no idea where he was, or if what had just happened was real. It wouldn't have been the first halucination the summoner had had. Standing up slowly, his ears ringing, Oni would look around and know for certain he was no where within Hell. As the ringing in his ears quieted he would be able to hear what was going on around him once more as he slowly stepped out from behind the throne to spot the group of people in front of him. Still unsure where he was or who these people were Oni kept his calm, for now at least. He wouldn't find out much of anything if he attacked these people and killed them before they could talk. So he would stand there and wait for one of them to notice and address him.

It was quiet...
. . .
"Nygard..!" spoke a voice with authority.

Wyndom awoke...it was dark, and his mind was normal, the voices where no longer constricting his mind, he felt...free? But where was he? Everything was pitch black, and he seemed to be on a road of some sort, a narrow road that if he fell off, it would lead to complete and utter nothingness. Again, the voice called out to him, but this time softer.
"Nygard..."
It was then that Wyndom looked up:
User Image

The road he was on seemed to take the shape of a phantom of sorts, leading up its left side, onto a shoulder, continuing over his head, and finally coming to an end at the forbidding finger, which seemed to be lifted, pointing off to ones worst nightmare. Then, as if that wasn't enough, two large red eyes illuminated the sky, casting eerie shadows over anything visible. Those eyes seemed as if they pierced through your very soul, and Wyndom shuddered. Just what was going on here?! Where was Light and Raven, the last thing he remembered he was in the Throne Room.
"Come!" said the voice.
Wyndom stood up, still unsure of what was happening...why was he called here, was this the person who caused the problems in his brain, where was this place, and who is this person? All these thoughts rattled inside his head, but it wasn't like before, no...these were just Wyndom's thoughts, not other peoples like had started happening before he fainted. Maybe that was why it was quiet, because there was no one else around to hear in this deserted place. In that case, would the same thing happen once he got out of this place and there was others around him again? Was his problem not truly resolved, and instead simply placed on hold?
"You know Nygard, first impressions are very important...so hurry up." Said the voice, cutting off his thoughts, then a slight nudge caused Wyndom to take a few steps forward on the path.
Wyndom sighed...it looked about 3 miles until the first bend in the road, the whole thing was probably 15-20 miles, and much of that was uphill...best get started now then.

Wyndom had almost made it to the shoulder of the phantom road in just over two hours. He was now over half way there, and the hard part was almost over! Grateful when he did reach the shoulder of the phantom road, Wyndom sat down to take a break. He was truly exhausted, but strangely enough he was neither hungry nor thirsty. After a few minutes rest, he continued up the face of the path, and finally reached the top of its 'head' about an hour later. Looking around to try and see anything of interest, he was dissapointed. The eyes where even gone, all that remained was the faintly glowing path that he traversed upon. Steadying himself, Wyndom began the decent of the head, it was angled inward slightly, so he had to cling onto the path to keep from falling. Unfortunately the road wasn't something that great to hold onto, and slowly but surely Wyndom's grip began faltering. There was no such thing as stopping for a breather or taking a break here, the fact of the matter was that the longer you had to hold onto the path, the more tired you would get, and the easier it would be to slip off later. He still had roughly a quarter of a mile left now, but it was no good, his body ached from holding on for so long, and his feet slipped off! He was left there, dangling for a few heart racing seconds before his hands gave out and he took the plunge, free falling for roughly 800 feet before sinking into the road?! He hit the ground and yet it felt as though he landed on some sort of trampoline, it seemed to go downwards until Wyndom's momentum was gone. When it felt like it had stretched as far as it was going to, Wyndom looked to the side to see what was happening. The road hadn't moved in any sort of way, he truly had fallen 800 feet, landed flat on his back with no injury, and yet the feeling that the road had bent and absorbed the fall for him was still inside his mind.
The voice chuckled as Wyndom struggled to his feet with a confused look on his face. Immediately Wyndom's head snapped upwards towards the sky...obviously the eyes where back, almost as in anticipation of Wyndom reaching his destination. Wyndom was beginning to notice that the more he thought about it, the less pain he was in. He wasn't hungry; he wasn't thirsty; he felt great! Was it this place, or the person watching him? Either way, emboldened with a strange feeling of immortality, Wyndom continued on the last section of his journey, eventually arriving at the tip of the pointing finger.

"My name is Ome...O is for On the dark side because we have some fresh cookies, M is for miserable faaailure, E is for emotional ruins everybody's day...-ahem-...sorry."
