"You like having me around? Really?" she asked, the entrance to Mount Moon coming up before her like the gaping maw of some tremendous beast. She looked up in awe at the mountain, and realized that during her talk with Mike, she'd hiked up quite a few feet. "I'm at the entrance to the mountain now," she said, a hint of sadness in her tone. "It's been very odd, the entire trip I didn't see hide nor hair of another trainer. It almost seems like its too quiet up here." She sat down on a large boulder, not quite ready to hang up yet.

Kilik walked up to the train, showing the guard his pass. "You're that boy that just got off here...with that girl..." he said, laughing as he allowed Kilik to pass.
"Yeah, Nina," he said, turning and walking to the end of the train.
"That's the girl..." he said, snapping his fingers when he remembered. Kilik stopped.
"She's not just 'girl'. She has a name and it's Nina," he growled, then continued walking to the end of the train. The door hissed open and he entered. Flareon looked up at him.
"Flare?" it asked, the Pokemon's ears drooping slightly. Kilik sat down, rather hard, onto the seat. He pulled off his backpack and set it on the floor in front of him. Koffing floated over his head and landed on the seat next to him. Flareon jumped into his lap. A weak smile spread across Kilik's lips.
"Don't worry, boy..." he said, petting the Pokemon and ruffling its fur.

DING! Venerax looks up finally dried out most of his clothing. Nurse Joy walks comes out from the back with a Pokeball. Venerax smiles, and walks over in his socks, his shoes still sopping wet.
"Thanks, Nurse Joy"
"Not problem, you'd best keep an eye out for anymore freaks storms," She smiles.
Venerax laughs. "Beleive me I will," He takes back Calculus' Pokeball. "Calculus go!" Calculus appears in a flash of light and blue sparkles. Calculus looks at Venerax a little sleepily.
"We're going to have to download some new battle tatics," Venerax especially if we're going down to Cinabar Island."
Calculus nods.
"Good," Venerax nods also. "But first I need my shoes to dry off, so let's have some lunch. Thanks again Nurse Joy."
"Any time." she replies. Venerax goes and takes a seat, and he and Calculus eat lunch.

Curious, he asked. "Um, why wouldn't I want you here? You are my friend after all, and last I knew, people liked friends." He added with a laugh.
Shiver had just been pestering Nitro with a small stream of water shooting out of his mouth, steam fizzed from the point of impact as the Charmeleon squirmed in attempt to stop the harassment. Shiver found it quite amusing, and started to laugh in victory, but then.
"Wham!"
Titanium's massive tail came crashing down onto the attacking Cloyster, embedding him into the gym floor. Shiver sat there, totally knocked out as Nitro and Titanium laughed.

"Well," she thought, looking over at the forest, "after the whole Growly thing, I was sure everyone would think of me as reckless and hate poor Growly. He's come a long way in only a few short days." The forest also seemed unnaturally quiet, and a slight uneasiness overcame her. She suddenly wasn't so sure she should be heading into this cavern.

"One thing you should know about me is I always forgive and forget, it's not your fault that your Growlithe was tempered. And besides, I love your Growlithe! It's so cool!" Mike happily looked over at Nitro, who was stamping on the fainted Cloyster. "I just really hope we can see eachother again, I really miss traveling with you." He said as he looked at Mitsu, and remembered all the fun he had with her, Nina and Kasiya.

The Flareon made content purr-like noises as Kilik pet him. The Koffing slept soundly. The train began to move foreward, making its journey to Celadon. Kilik bent over slightly to pull a drink out of his backpack. He opened the water bottle and took a drink from it. Flareon looked up at him. "Do you want some?" he laughed.
"Flare!" it looked very happy. Kilik poured some into the Flareon's mouth. It swallowed the water happily and curled up into a little ball on his lap. Kilik closed the water and tossed it on top of his bag. Then he placed his hand on Koffing.
"Koff...ing...Koff...ing..." it said as it slept. Kilik looked up at the ceiling.
"I wonder why Nina left in the first place..."

"Thanks, Mike," she said, her heart picking up again. It felt like a huge load had been lifted off her shoulders, and she suddenly felt faint, although she reckoned that was due to the thin air up here. "Listen, I've gotta go, this cavern isn't gonna get up and go over me. I will call you once I get out of the cave, to let you know everything's okay," she said, smiling. Then her face lit up. "Oh! I know! I'll bring you back a Moon Stone!" she said, leaping to her feet.

"Moon stone? Oh! You can get those in Hoenn too, but they are very very rare. Thank you Kassie! I'll see you on the other side, give those Pokemon hell!" He said as he hung up, he always enjoyed talking to Kasiya, she was a real sweetheart.
Titanium had now picked ip Nitro in his mouth and was spinning around rapidly in circles. The Charmeleon was flailing around and cheering, obviously enjoying the ride.
Shiver was still a tad konked out, but slowly regaining status.

"Flare...Flareon..." it whimpered sadly. It sat up and nudged Kilik's chin with its nose. He laughed. Its nose was cold and wet.
"Don't worry about it, Flareon," he said, trying to smile, "I'm sure she would have left sooner or later. She would have gotten tired of me anyway," he looked out the window to see the water.
"Flare! Flare Eon Fla Eon!!" It seemed to be telling him something, rather sternly as well. Kilik laughed.
"If I only knew what you were saying..." he patted the Pokemon on the head.

Kasiya clicked of her phone, and once more faced the entrance to Mount Moon. She didn't hesitate stepping inside, her worries about the entire mountainside being so quiet were quelled for now. The cavern wasn't as dark as she had imagined, and there were signposts and some torches lighting the path. Again, it seemed deserted. Kasiya crept quietly along a corridor, mostly natural looking, but it had been reinforced in some places. It felt safe, although the only sound was a distant drip of water and Kasiya's lone footsteps reverberating all around her.

"We will be at Celadon Station in twenty minutes. Thank you for using the Train system and have a nice day," said the voice over the intercom. Flareon looked around for the voice, its eyes darting around.
"Relax, Flareon. It's just an intercom..." Kilik laughed as he patted the Pokemon on the head. Koffing woke up and hovered next to the boy's cheek, "What is it?" he asked, turning around.
"Koffing!!" it bumped against Kilik, trying to imitate Flareon's affection. Kilik rubbed his cheek.
"That was kinda painful..." he groaned, pulling the Koffing close and holding it under his arm, "I know you didn't mean it."
"Flareon!" The Fox said, bumping its nose against Koffing. Flareon sneezed a few times.

Stupid water...I hate it. Nitro spralled out on a rock outside of the gym, catching some sun. He was quite enjoying himself watching the Wingull fly overhead as the rays beat down on him.
"Wow! Look at that cool Pokemon!" a little kid shouted, breaking away from his mother to go take a closer look at Nitro.
"Billy, you don't know who's Pokemon that is, it could be wild!" shouted the mom, running to catch up.
Nitro popped his head up to examine the staring boy, and let out a rather amused "Char!" The boy squeaked as he hugged the Charmeleon. "He's so cool, can we keep him?" asked the boy, looking with begging intent.
At that moment, Mike rode out of the door on Titanium, Shiver clamped onto the other side horn. "Hey Nitro! Make a new friend?" Mike hopped off of the Steelix, as did Shiver, hopping over to playfully clamp the fire Pokemon.
"Wow... your Pokemon are so totally cool!" shouted Billy, jumping up and down.

"Thanks kid! I really try hard too." Mike pet his Charmeleon as it let out a small cry of happiness. Titanium took a closer look at the boy, sniffing and making small noises. His mother was shaking nervously, but who wouldn't at the sight of a 30 foot steel serpent with massive jaws just inches in front of your baby boy. "Don't worry ma'am, Titanium's a kitten, isn't that right budy?" he stroked the side of the Steel Pokemon's horn as he climbed on top, followed by Nitro and Shiver.
"Well kid, it was nice meeting you, I hope I can see you on the other side of a Pokemon battle someday" Mike said as he layed down on the top of his Steelix, catching a few rays himself.
"You too mister!" Billy said as he skipped away, his mother breathing a sigh of releif.
