"psst"Rory frowned and looked around for what sounded like a gas leak... A GAS LEAK!? Those were dangerous for sure, weren't they!? Oh no! OH NO! And right when everything was going so smoothly! The game was going great (save for Chase's occasional meltdowns) and here he sat, reigning alongside Jewels and now the whole stadium was going to be blown to....! "PSST! Rory!"Wait, gas leaks didn't know his name. And since when did they carry scorndogs in their... wait. Scorn dogs? Rory looked down and blinked away the remaining 'spots' from those darn flashes and saw Shad half emerged from behind the thrones, waving two scorndogs in his face. "Shad? What are you...?""I was watching the game from under the stands and thought you two might be hungry!" Shad answered in a meek but urgent whisper. He sounded anxious to get back to the shadows he had emerged from. "But... why are you hiding?""Because that trippy eyeclops keeps takin' pictures of anything getting close to you two! Y'dig?"He waved the scorndogs at Rory again and a couple Frights to wash them down.

Ronan barely had time to protest as Roswell dragged him into a ... closet? He stared at the alien in alarmed confusion, then relief as he realised he was no longer drowning in a sea of monsters.
"Thank you." He looked back out at the crowd and gulped.
"I... have never been amongst so many other monsters. I don't... know what happened." He still felt a little faint and slumped down on a small work bench. It wasn't the most comfortable seat, but he wasn't feeling so stable on his feet.
"Maybe... maybe they'll all return to their seats soon?" He tried to sound hopeful. He'd gone to get food, he couldn't return empty handed! But another glance outside and his chest tightened again.
"What do we do?"

"Scorndogs?" She grinned. "Oh thankyouthankyou!" she took hers and beamed at Shad. "Oh I do hope she's finished taking pictures... " She fussed. "Idon'tthinkmyeyescantakeanotherflash"
Looking to Rory she giggled back. "It's where the best friends are from."

"Great game so far!" Kai sat in the bleachers next to Demona on one side and Nero on the other. Nero had two ghouls he didn't recognize with him, probably ghouls he'd met at his club gig at Boolittle's last fright.
Kai wrapped an arm around Demona. "Too bad neither of us won Tombcoming Scream King, Nero. We could totally be organizing a dance party on the field right now. Or maybe-"
Kai looked up and saw that Demona and he were on the giant scoreboard, with little skull-shaped hearts flying around them.
"Oh, man! The Kiss Kam! All right, here goes!" Kai gave the big screen a sly grin, and then leaned over and planted one right on Demona's lips to some howls and shrieks from the clawdience.

Jewels was watching the screen idly, keeping half an eye out for that flash obsessed cyclops and enjoying a much needed scorndog.
She paused mid bite as Kai and Demona appeared on screen, lip trembling a little. She tore her gaze away and stared at the ground. Stupid Demona, why couldn't she be back in grrmany where she belonged? She huffed and bit ferociously into the scorndog.

Coach was still chewing out Chase about this whole distraction thing, it was getting tedious. Honestly Perry just wanted to grab the centaur by the shoulders and shake some sense into him, but he knew that was probably a really bad idea. A fist to the face was one thing, hooves were quite another.
Instead, he'd found a quiet place to sit with a bottle of Terroraide and surfed the web. Bored of status updates, he texted Nathair and Vinnie.

Lin slurped a Pepscream thru a straw, not noticing that his image was now on the Kiss Cam. Some hoots and hollers caused him to glance up and saw himself up on the scoreboard, bright and clear!
His eyes grew wide and then he saw who else was on it along with him, sitting beside him ... Meowlody! Lin's heart did a flutter and a H-U-G-E watermelon grin spread on his face! He turned and leaned in to give there werecat a peck on the cheek...
"MeowRRRGHHHHH!!!"
The crowd cringed and gasped at the wild cloud of dust on the screen and Lin's screams for help!

"It.Is.CLAWESOME!" he exclaimed, standing and pumping his fist in the air. Doriana patted his back, letting him sit down. She grinned sheepishly at him.
During the the intermission, Doriana didn't budge. She stayed in her seat, looking around. And then there was... The kissing cam. Her eyes widened, he hid hey eyes in her palm as her face turned red.

The countdown on the big scoreboard showed everyone that halfslime was nearing its end. Most of the monsters had made it back to their seats, and Rory was done with his scorndog (he REALLY owed Shad for that one.) Rory settled into his throne and gave Jewels a grin, hexcited to see what the second half of the game was going to bring.
But then, suddenly-
"All right!"
"Go for it!"
"WOOO!"
The crowd was buzzing again. Most of them were looking at the scoreboard, but all of the ones around Rory and Jewels had turned in their seats and were looking at them. Rory looked up on the scoreboard....and there was Jewels and him, staring back....Kiss Kam focused on them.
"Do it, dude!" A gargoyle shouted from the far bleachers.
"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" A chant was breaking out all around them.
Well, sheesh. They *were* Tombcoming Scream King and Queen after all, right? Rory looked at Jewels and shrugged a bit sheepishly. One little peck on the cheek seemed appropriate, after all...

Jewels looked up at the screen, squeaked a little and looked to Rory with wide eyes and a blush steadily creeping across her face.
"I uh... "
Could she get out of this? it wasn't that he wasn't cute, he really was, and so shiny... but Marceline was a nice ghoul and they were supposed to be dating weren't they?
Oh dear, would she soon have another ghoul wanting to punch her?
"I uh.. " She looked nervous, and embarrassed. Everyone was staring, cheering them on. "If we..haveto?" She managed weakly.

Rory closed his eyes and leaned over in his chair.
"Oh, I LOVE the Kiss Kam!" He popped one eye open. To his (un)surprise, somehow, Spectra had gotten ahold of the video camera and was now the one filming with it. Well, that hexplained a lot. Rory closed his eyes again and leaned....
....and leaned.....
....and leaned....
Something in his brain told him he was leaning FAR too far at this point and should have connected with SOME molecheek at this point, but it was too late to correct his balance. Rory teetered, and then-
*FOOMF!*
The entire Scream King throne tipped over! Rory hexperienced a single moment of pure panic, and then confusion. 'Foomf?' That wasn't the sound of a mirror boy shattering into a billion pieces.
Rory looked up and realized that the air beneath him and his throne had somehow been turned into feather pillows. Standing off to the side, a slightly amused hexpression on her face, Rory's aunt Scarie LeVeau rolled her cat-eyes and looked at Emeralda.
"Dat one Mary owes me, for sure." Rory could have sworn that Scarie winked at him as the two witches returned to their seats.
"Oh, pooh." Spectra pouted, disappointed at the failure to capture a juicy gossip-drawing kiss. She floated upwards, still holding onto the camera. "Mark my words, before the end of this game, I'm going to find the PERFECT Kiss Kam moment!"

Jewels had her eyes closed to... waiting.. and waiting... she opened one eye, there were disappointed noises all around her.
"r... Rory?" She looked around, nope, he was nowhere to be found, and now everyone was staring straight at her. She lowered her head. Yeah, figured... nobody wanted to kiss HER.

As Jewels lowered her head, Rory looked up from under her feet and waved.
"Uh....hi." He sat up, pushing aside several overstuffed, magically-imported pillows. "Sorry about that. I guess I need to work on my aim. Gosh! I mean, I REALLY need to work on my aim!"

As the game was getting set to start again, Shad glanced at his watch and jumped. "Aw moan! I hafta call Lilith!"He glanced around but saw no pay phones and his iCoffin was back in the Doomitories. Well shoot!Shad ducked into the nearest shadow... And passed by the two boos in the closet... "Uh, don't mind me! Just passing through. But, the Kiss Cam is out there, y'dig?"And Shad vanished through the shadows on the other side. Boo! How embarrassing to have disturbed an intimate moment!
