Emmy: "Hey, Emmy," Jasmine says. "Come on over."
Ayumu: The maids giggle some more.
Nekora: "That would be nice," the nekomimi says. "We're roommates," the elf says. "So at least one of us, if not both, will catch you before you leave and we'll set up a time to practice together!" "But we have to go before the other maids get angry..." "So we'll talk to you later!" They dash off to serve the next table.

She giggled"before you go may I have some cherry pie along with a nice mug of hot cocoa please?" she asked the maids.

I think about how to answer for a moment. "It's easier to show you than to answer with words. But meditation is used to achieve relaxation, higher forms of consciousness, etc. There's a traditional Japanese mediation garden here I could take you to if you want to try. A garden would be a good place to start with reaching your mind out to the world. I'd imagine by learning to sense the energies of the various elements you could eventually learn to... see in a sense since the elements are all around us. If that doesn't work we could try some of the other methods. Why don't you finish reading the section about that and let me know if you want to try it?"

Emmy: Just as you sit down, the maids are about to dash off. One of them, an elf girl, stops and waits for you. "What can I get you?" she asks politely.
Ayumu: "You got it," the elf girl replies.
Chi: "Okay," Jean-Paul says. "Have you meditated before?"

"Yes. I do it quite often. And I find it quite useful in various situations. I think it's definitely worth trying. I haven't been able to sense anything besides earth and metal, which only happened recently because of my powers, but being blind you'd have the upper hand in sensing energy because you don't rely on vision like the rest of us." I stop and think for a moment. "If you don't mind me asking, were you born blind?"

She smiled and just began to sway side in side to a song she remembered"Well, now that I think of it, I never really asked who every one was before the order." she asked still swaying side to side"is it wrong for me to ask that now?" she asked towards the group.

"Not at all!" I say to Ayumu before I start digging into my food. "It's a pretty legitimate question!"

"Umm... just some peppermint cocoa and potato soup, please, if that's alright." Emmy says kindly before turning towards Ayumu. "It wouldn't be wrong to ask, but I do believe it would be wrong to disrespect someone's wishes if they didn't wish to share."

"That would be a great way for us to learn more about each other." I say to Ayumu, briefly pausing my eating to respond. "I wouldn't mind divulging a bit of my past."

Chi: "Oh, cool," Jean-Paul says as he continues reading. He pauses when you ask your question. "No," he says at length.
Ayumu: "I think you'd be fine," Jasmine replies.
Emmy: "You got it," the maid says before rushing off.

"Sure thing. Now where to begin..." I say in contemplation. "Well, I lived in a military family, so I did quite a bit of traveling. My life was a little bit hectic because of it, since I ended up transferring schools every few years, so developing and keeping friendships was a bit more challenging for me. I didn't really get to know my dad too well since he was a soldier that got sent off to war when I was 8, and well, I never saw him again. Still, I've looked up to him my entire life since he was a very honorable and courageous man. As for my daily life... I mainly just focused on school, oh, and martial arts. I've really loved them ever since my parents let me start practicing. I've had training in a plethora of different styles, but I never managed to get too high up in any of them. Other than that... I played a few sports throughout the years... and in my free time I would occasionally play some video games or watch some shows on television, but for the most part I suppose my life wasn't all that interesting until now...

Chi: Jean-Paul slowly closes the book. "I don't wanna talk about it," he mumbles.
Jade: "Sounds like a pretty good life, actually," Jasmine says. "The majority of the members of the Order had terrible lives."
