"Yeah. It's good for strength training," Tails said and nodded. "It's probably why we're able to pick each other up a few feet off the ground. Now if you -really- wanna freak yourself out, let yourself sink into it headfirst. I'll be there to help you up because you'll definitely need it."

"Maybe next time." He said. He didn't want to test fate just yet, obviously. He finally picked up the shirt then looked at it, then looked back. "I wonder if Blizz really can get this washed. It's all messy." He said, holding it up to show Tails.

"I dunno. The only time I ever ruined a set of clothes in mud, they weren't my clothes to begin with. I just wanted to see what it was like," Tails said. Since Tristen had gotten what he'd come for, he thrust his arms into the mud and closed his eyes. Steam rose from the mud about him, and within moments, he had hardened into place. He had done this before, presumably.

"They weren't? Huh." Tristen then started trying to make his way back over to Tails but then noticed something. "Tails? What are you trying to do?"

The ground groaned, and the mud on his fur cracked as he pulled his arms -- and eventually himself -- out of the earth. He shook the flakes of dirt off and stepped forward. Each step he took hardened the mud beneath him so that he could walk upon it without sinking into the morass again. "Just this. I learned to do it a long time ago."

"Did Mikey teach you?" He asked him. It made sense to him, to say the least.

"Yup. And he'd sometimes do something like this to me."

Tails walked only a little beyond Tristen. A pause -- and he sat down on Tristen's head.

"Ack! Hey! Tails! No fair!" He said. He wasn't able to move like Tails can, let alone be able to resist having his head turn into a stool.

"Aw, if you say so." Tails stood and, grinning, placed his hands on Tristen's shoulders and pushed. "How about...we sleep here tonight? Go as deep as we can without the mud swallowing us. It'll be awhile before you'll probably want to do this again, anyway."

"If you want to." Tristen told Tails. "Though before we go to sleep tonight, I want to look around this place some more." He said. "I haven't been here before."

"Alright." Tails stopped pushing Tristen when he was down to his chin. There was an urge that he needed to do that at least once tonight. He shut his eyes, and placed his hands flat on the mud about Tristen. It warmed, but at its worst it was a little cooler than uncomfortably hot. "Want me to come with you?"

"Sure." Tristen said to him. "If you want. Perhaps you could show me what else this place has." He suggested.

"Well...there's a buncha water," Tails said. But as he pulled Tristen from the hardened mud, he remembered that there was a strange Pokemon he had only seen around here, and just once before. "I think...there is a rare Pokemon."

Lykas sat beside Odd in the Medlab, a couple of small red berries in one hand, the other holding one of them to Odd's mouth. "Will you open up and eat it, already?!" He fussed as he once again tried to force the berry into Odd's mouth.

"Too hot!" Odd complained, keeping his teeth clenched to prevent the berry from entering his mouth while he did.

"Will you stop being a baby and eat it already?! It'll help you recover from the paralysis." Lykas had tried this several times now and had only just barely managed to forcefeed him the first and only Cheri berry he'd eaten so far.

"I'm fine!" Odd insisted for the ninth time, trying to swivel his head away from Lykas and protect his tongue from the evil fruit in his friend's hands. "Real friends don't torture each other like this!" He felt certain this was cruel and unusual punishment. He also felt certain Lykas was only doing this because he got a kick out of watchign him squirm.

"Oi. You were the one complaining that you still felt like your legs were asleep when I had to help you get to the bathroom this morning." Lykas protested, his cheeks flushing slightly.

Odd stopped squirming at that, he blushing furiously as well. What in the world had happened between them this morning? Whatever it was, Odd stopped whining and grudginly opened his mouth to allow Lykas to feed him another Cheri berry. There were only this one and one more. It had been all the blue-haired teen could do to find the three he had in the area. Berries weren't native to Johto like Apricorns were.

After the events of the fight prior and tending to my Pokemon and Freth's injuries, I made my way into the kitchen and sat down at the table, pulling out my SNAG and looked at it, all not too amused to say the least. With a sigh, I started calling a number and listened to it ring...

"Mahogany Pokemon Center. Joy speaking." The nurse came up on the phone.

"Anthony Owlwood, please." I said, rubbing my eyes. Oh here we go.

Sol had done what he could to tend to his own, few injuries. Really, there wasn't much to speak of on his end. He did what he could for Ceramew as well, but a lot of it came down to herself.

In fact, she had spent most of the day asleep. Her body looked like it was back to normal, and she didn't appear pained like she had been last night. When she finally decided to wake up, she nearly wanted to lurch to the side. She still felt quite nauseous.

"I see you've finally awoke. Are you alright?"

This was a question that went unanswered, as she spent more time panting than trying to form words. It didn't take much to discern anyway.

"Forget my asking that. I know that chi last night must be leaving you out of sorts. Here, come. Maybe now you can expel it in peace. It might help you get back to normal." He didn't wait for an answer, instead grabbing Ceramew and carrying her outside. It'd be safer to deal with the matter there.
