Rex walked through the woods. He took in every sight, scent, and sound. He loved walking through the woods. Rex felt totally at peace with himself and everything around him. He took in a deep breath and found a good spot to sit against a tree. Rex closed his eyes and rested his head against the bark of the tree behind him. Rex just wished he could stay here forever with no problems. But he knew, as a demigod, there would always be problems he had to deal with. At least I'm not alone in that sense... he thought to himself.

Alyson shrugged her shoulders and ran a hand through her hair. "Good job." She congratulated him for figuring out her mom was the godly parent. "You really think I care what people think when it comes to how I dress? If people don't respect me because I have on an old shirt with a pair of torn up jeans and worn out converse than screw them. I'm me and what do I have to prove to them?" She asked and clinched her jaw slightly. "I respect two people on this planet and two people only. That's all." Alyson looked down at how she was dressed and than shrugged. "Oh I don't just get up and walk out the door. I have to brush my teeth, of course." She said giving a twisted smile that showed her perfectly white teeth. "Oh and I fix my make up." She said. "And take a shower." Those were really the only three things she really did do.
Of course there was changing her clothes which she did everyday and brushing her hair but her hair was always the least thing she cared about."But you know, wrestling alligators is fun. You should try it sometime." She said and watched him look away. "What? You can't say something to my face?" She added and rolled her eyes at him, not sure if he saw it or not, though. "Said what like someone back home?" She asked, utterly confused. ((Whoa...when were there quote things over 'Alyson Kings' and 'daughter of Eris' ? O.o))

Danny came up behind Rex "hey man," Danny smiled and held out his hand "Sorry 'bout your injuries but you did a number on me too." Danny took off his shirt and showed a scar from one of the blows Rex did to him. "Gonna have that for my life time." Danny laughed a little before putting his shirt back on "Well just wanted to say I'm sorry and that, if anyhting you won that brawl," Danny sighed "And I'm thinking about just leaving this camp, no quests no excitment, nothing." he looked around the forst and saw a bird he focused on it for a while before turning back to Rex "Anyway its been a pleasure." Danny smiled and once more outstretched his hand.

I walked through the forest looking for someone. As I walked I saw Rex and Danny sitting by a tree. I looked at them smiling. "I think I might have just got us a quest".

Dannyl looked around "Really?!?!" Danny eyes were hopefull "we might actuely got out of here?!?!" his voice was cheerful.

Danny patted Rex's shoulder "Alright then!" Danny winced, his shoulder was still hurt but he'd survive "Tommarrow got it!"

Rex silently listened to their excitement about a possible quest. He could only laugh at the odds of that happening. He finally opened his eyes and got up. Rex dusted himself off then simply said, "Well, don't count me in for sure if you do get your quest." He was sick of what it meant to be a demigod. Rex saw the questioning look on his friends. "If I do go on that quest, I'm not coming back to this camp. I don't care what happens on the wuest, I'll do what I did before. I'll live on my own, I can just be at peace with no one else. This camp is to cushy for me and it's not normal..." Rex explained. "Even right now, don't either of you get the feeling something's happening around here that they're not telling us? Seriously, no one has any clue what happens in the Big House these days." He was sick of this camp and all it was hiding.

Danny thought for a moment "yeah I was in the Big House once and after i went through the door...I can't remeber anything welse that happened..." Danny sighed "If we're going to be leaving we should stock up first." Danny shouldered a small satchel "I got some of my bandages in here."

I looked at both of them. I was out of my league I couldn't run away and live on my own I was 13. I tried to smile. "tomorrow" I said walking away.

Danny sighed "alright I'll go get the supplies we're going to need." Danny walked away before turning to Rex "get ready Rex we gonna go through hell or high water." Danny could feel it was the truth. "something bads gonna happen I can feel it Rex be careful."

"Meet me at stables", I said walking away. I was excited and worried. Thats what being in one place to long did to me. "Get there as soon as you wake up tomorrow" I walked back to my cabin.

Danny sighed, he couldnt shake the feeling something bad was going to happen. "Dad I could use some protection right about now." Danny crossed his fingers and looked up at the sky "please." Danny nodded and walked to the stables he was planning on waiting.

Rex watched as they walked away. Hmph, they have no real idea what's out there. I guess I'll go along to keep them alive, he thought to himself. Rex decided he had enough of the woods. So, he started walking to his cabin. He expected this quest, whatever it was going to be, to be harder than any of them expected. Rex needed to get prepared. He began thinking of all the supplies he'd need.

Danny wondered into the forest aimlessly hoping for a Hell Hound to bite his neck he sat down onto a log and hung his head "I'm so uselss..." tears decended his cheeks and hsi hands were shaking he looked into the forest his eyes red. "whats there shwo yourself!" a small Hell hound creeped otu form the woods Danny stared at ti then took out his swor dbut he'd been too late with his injuries the Hell Hound was already upon him Danny was too weak to struggle he waited for the inevitable "Do it...KILL ME!" Danny yelled at the beats but the dog growled giving Danny time to grab his sword and stab it in the hind legs between the bones. The Hound was angered by this and clawed Danny's face drawing three long lines of blood to flow form his face. Danny pushed the Hound off of him and sliced upwards cutting leg off. Danny breathed heavily before collapsing to the gorund "Damn.." he sword more before crawling his way back to the log he'd sat on. Danny felt his face and saw the blood seeping form the wounds Danny made no effort to bandage them.
