Just as soon as Eraku had said hello the pink haired girl, Sasha met up with a group of people he had never seen before and they darted off down the road. “That girl is always up to something it seems. Well looks like that road is the only road outta town so we might as well follow them. Come on Hurricane!” he said as he slowly started following the group. As he started heading down the road he took in the surroundings. Everything was different here, the people, the Pokémon, even the air smelled different to him. He felt a something strange in the air around him, something that seemed familiar to him but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it. He quickly put it out of his mind as he noticed he had stopped walking all together and Hurricane was getting way ahead of him.
PostPosted: Tue May 18, 2010 12:52 am

As he hurried down the path he had lost sight of Hurricane. “Hurricane! Where are you?” he yelled. No sooner than the words had left his mouth than he heard the tell tale sound of birds fighting. He pushed through a bush and saw Hurricane fighting with what appeared to be a large black and white bird. The larger bird clearly had the advantage over his pidgey. “Hey get away from him! Shoo! Get Away!” He yelled at the larger bird.
“Is that your bird?” A voice said. Eraku looked around but he couldn’t see where it was coming from then he looked up and in a tree above him was a man sitting there. “Staraptor come!” the large bird broke off his attack and perched itself on a branch next to the man. “Heh..your pidgey there has some spunk but I think it could use a bit more training. The names Alastair. I could show you a thing or two if you have the time. I always like to see flying types at their best potential.”
“..Well..I suppose I have the time.” Eraku said not sure what to think of this guy yet.

My options are running thin, Nina thought to herself. I have no idea how many more Pokemon that Maorde has, or what he has reamining. I need someone who can truly help carry us through this fight. I need to keep stalling for Sabrina... Unclipping the Ultra Ball from her belt, Nina kissed it. "You won't let me down," she whispered. "I believe in you. You're the one that I've counted on ever since Anna's been gone. I know I can count on you again." She flung the ball onto the battlefield. In a terrific explosion of white light, Krystal erupted from her ball, head-wings flapping, and briefly circling around Nina, Whitney, and Clefable, as if to say hello. She returned to her place in front of Nina, looking at the adversaries she was facing. With a quick smile, Whitney eyed her new ally, and then turned her gaze back to her Clefable, who was still hanging in there. "Clefable, it's time to continue with what's worked so far! Use another Metronome!" Nodding, the Pokemon waggled her finger and began concentrating. The process of mentally stimulating her brain was an interesting one; it was as if a die was rolling about inside her mind, essentially choosing what move she was about to perform. In addition to that, after the move had been decided, Clefable's body had to adapt and change if it was using a move that was outside of the realm of general possibility for its species. It was largely due to these two factors that Metronome took a great deal of concentration.

Nina knew this. "Krystal, " she called, "I think that we ought to take advantage of this weather. Let loose a ferocious Thunderbolt on that Charizard! We must to eradicate it!" With a quick nod, Krystal tightened up her body as the rain continued to fall. She began feeling very warm on the inside, and her body began flashing like a neon sign. "No!" Maorde shouted, knowing full well that his Charizard wouldn't be able to survive a Thunderbolt, because of the fact that it had been damaged a few times beforehand, and the weather conditions could only augment the power of the attack. "Charizard, I want you to Slash that Dragonair until it cries for mercy! Give it no quarter! Taffy, you do the same!" Releasing his Pokemon unto Krystal, he watched in amusement as history repeated itself; both Pokemon surrounded Krystal before they raked their sharp claws across her, severely weakening her in the process. But, Krystal wouldn't surrender. She wouldn't let the pain show. The fact that she was being surrounded by both Pokemon was actually rather beneficial. As soon as the opportunity presented itself, Krystal stretched her entire body perfectly upright. Thunder crashed overhead, and a moment or two later, using her body as a lightning rod, she was struck by a lightning bolt, electrocuting the Charizard and Metagross in the process. Because of the fact that Krystal had been storing electrical energy within herself, she went further unharmed; the same, however, could not be said about Charizard. It collapsed under the extreme force of the attack. Taffy was also very badly wounded; it managed to slowly stomp its way back to Maorde, who reluctantly recalled his fallen Pokemon. "I swear, I'll make you regret ever doing that to me! Taffy, I want you to--"

Before Maorde could finish issuing his order, Clefable's Metronome attack had been readied. The Pokemon opened her eyes, as well as her mouth. Breathing inward, a strange orb of silvery blue energy began to form. After a moment or two, the energy was released in a concentrated form of a beam, aimed directly for Taffy. The powerful attack stuck before Taffy had time enough to react. Maorde recalled his Pokemon, in utter stupor.

"Aeroblast," Nina said, astonished. "That's incredible..."

Whitney's Clefable certainly has a penchant for being able to use powerful moves with Metronome, Sabrina thought. It's a bit intimidating. If only this were the end of the battle. But, he still has one last trick up his sleeve...

Kasiya giggled and nodded, fully in agreement with Sasha's statement. It was true that Keegan was a lot kinder and sweeter than he liked to pretend he was, but he would sooner light himself on fire than actually admit it. Levi made a happy cooing noise, her fins twitching a bit as the two female trainers got settled on her back, and when they were ready she set off, her powerful forearms and legs pulling her through the water with ease. She glanced up at the mighty Gyarados as he swam by, not at all annoyed that he was quicker than she was; after all, it wasn't really a race. "Swaaamp!" she called, giving Nightmare a friendly wave. It was always nice to see her fellow Water-types out and about, and there were certainly no shortage of them around here. There were many Pokemon she didn't recognize, but they all seemed to share a sense of kinship as they ferried their trainers safely across the waters.

It didn't take long for the trip to be made, as even a less-speedy Pokemon like Leviathan could still out-swim the ferryboat. She clambered up on the shore, keeping her belly low to the ground in order to allow Kasiya and Sasha to climb down safely, which they did. "Thank you, Levi!" Kasiya said, hugging her Pokemon happily even though the Swampert was soaking wet. Levi grinned and wrapped a massive arm around her fragile human, happier than ever that Dante had chosen Kasiya to be her new trainer. Admittedly at first, she'd been terribly upset by Dante's decision to stop being a trainer, but Kasiya and all her Pokemon had been very nice (Rosemary, especially!) and she was definitely happy with things now. Kasiya hugged the Swampert a second time before recalling her back into her Pokeball. Ahead of her she could see Mitsu and Kilik making their way through the city's gates, and she could see tall, tall buildings rising up in the distance. Jubilife must be huge, she thought, looking back at the map on her PokeNav. The Pokemon Center was pretty easy to find on the map as it was indicated by a large, red P, though as she zoomed out for the region map, she noticed that Sandgem was located just south of Jubilife. "Oh yeah, that's were Professor Rowan's Laboratory is located," she said, mostly to herself. "I should go and see him, perhaps he'd know the best place for me to find a Piplup." She glanced back at her pink-haired friend and smiled. "But first, the Pokemon Center and shopping!" She grabbed Sasha's hand and began to make her way in the direction her map had indicated, almost bursting at the seams from the excitement of getting a fresh new outfit, and also the prospect of getting her first Sinnoh Pokemon.

Tanker looked up over his shoulder at the redhead's comment and grinned. Though he couldn't see which scar he was currently admiring, the Blastoise was sure he knew which one he spoke of. "Blaaaastoise," he grunted, moving forward once Mai tapped his shell to signal they were ready. The Turtle Pokemon shoved off, creating slight waves around him that rippled out and grew larger as he moved. Though he had indeed seen many battles and was by far one of Mai's most experienced Pokemon, he still took joy in the little things, like Surfing his mistress across various bodies of water.

Mai, meanwhile, was amused by the redhead's skepticism and she laughed, kneeling down and holding onto one of Tanker's cannons for support. "Oh Keegan," she sighed, shaking her head at him. "Why would you think there's something I want? Or some sort of angle? Can't a girl give a cute guy a ride across the lake without there being anything more? Honestly, Red, must you always think the worst of me? Surely there are more memorable times for you to dwell upon." She flipped her hair back behind her shoulder and looked towards their destination, seeing that the Gyarados and Swampert had already landed. Though not a speedy Pokemon himself, Tanker kept up a strong pace and had them across the way in good time, and once he'd let them off his back and back onto solid ground she thanked him and recalled him into his Pokeball. "Are you going to catch up to your girlfriends now?" she asked, pretending to admire the stitching of her leather gloves.

As Robin walked away heading towards the back, she wasn't even sure where this other pokemon was, what it was or even where Luffy was she did know one thing. No mater what the consequences were that pokemon was coming with her even if she had to move mountains in order to do it. Behind her both Rowan and Ampersand just stared at her as she made her way out.

"She isn't kidding is she? She really will take that pokemon with her no matter what." Ampersand sighed but he couldn't help the small smile that was on his face. That girl sure was something, it seemed like she would do anything if she set her mind to it.

"We should probably go find her she doesn't even know what she is looking for." Rowan said getting up and following Robin outside he stopped though when he saw the scene in front of him.

There in the clearing before the forest was Robin standing there with a wary looking Chimchar standing a few feet away from her. The two of them were staring at each other in a sort of western shoot out stand off. You could probably cut the tension between them with a knife. There was a long moment of silence before Robin walked over to the Chimchar her face hidden by her hair. When she was just a few feet away from the pokemon she dropped down onto her knees tears streaming down her face.

"I am so sorry!" Robin cried loudly her makeup making dark circles under her eyes and her tights getting dirty and maybe ripping in the dirt. The girl didn't seem to care as she kneeled in front of the pokemon tears dripping down her face as she begged for the pokemons forgiveness.

The ride was very pleasant, but Sasha was far too anxious to sit still. She was in a windsurfing mode, and was one stray breeze away from jumping on top of the Swampert and steering him like board. She managed her compulsion by squeezing a bit tighter on Kasiya's waist and focusing leaning her head on her friend's shoulder. She was so soft. Sasha smiled and closed her eyes. If this trip was any longer, she could have easily fallen asleep.

Soon the short trip across was over, and Levi let the two of them off safely on the other side. "Merci, Levi." Sasha said, thanking the Pokemon with a kiss to the cheek. She wasn't expecting its face to be so slimy, though. As she pulled away, a trail of slime dipped and fell to the ground between them. The high-class girl's eyes widened. She kept her lips puckered so no slime made it's way into her mouth. However, as a lady of class, she waited until the Swampert was out of sight and back in their Pokeball to react appropriately. After all, it wasn't its fault that it was naturally coated in slime.

"Mmmm! MMMM!" She screamed through her closed lips, holding her back out as far away from her face as she dug through it for a napkin. After twenty seconds of blind shuffling she found one, and practically tore her lips from her face as she wiped them off. "Brut! Dégoûtant! Effrayant! Z'hat was so gross! Aagh!" She shivered and threw her napkin on the ground, releasing Kitsune so she could burn it. "Suffer in z'he lowest peetz'of hell napkeen!" After the offending napkin was thoroughly purged, Sasha recalled her Ninetales, touched up her face a bit, and was grabbed by her friend. She could see the buildings looming in the distance and her heart began to race. Heehee, almost time to dress Kass in cute outfeets!

After making it through the guardhouse, the two were in Jubilife City. It was amazing! There were so many buildings! It was even bigger than Celadon! Even bigger than Saffron! Even in broad daylight the billboards and lights on the building sparkled like diamonds. The giant advertisements adorned with beautiful women made her want to get back into modeling right then and there! "Kass!" She grabbed her friend's collar and shook her violently. "Peench me! I must be dreaming! Z'his iz z'he most beautiful s'hing I've ever seen!" Sasha giggled and ripped out her phone, sending text after text to her father describing the splendor of Sinnoh and asking him to send a modeling portfolio to the offices in Sinnoh.

Nina absentmindedly twirled a lock of her hair around the index finger of her right hand. "So, Maorde," she began, "it appears that you're out of Pokemon. Now, you're going to--" Maorde quickly hushed Nina before she could get the rest of her sentence out. "Do you really think I'm done with?" he asked. "Nina, darling, you should know me better by this point in time. It appears you've forgotten my trademark Pokemon." Reaching behind his back, he pulled out one final Pokeball, and tossed it into the battle zone. With four terrific stomps and a thunderous roar, Maorde's Salamence appeared from its Pokeball. It glared nastily at Krystal and Clefable, before turning its gaze to Nina and Whitney. It appeared to ignore Sabrina. Nina was not impressed. "This is of little consequence," she commented. "Due to the fact that Salamence is a Dragon-type and a Flying-type, it only takes one hit from an Ice Beam to knock it out. You haven't a chance." Looking from Maorde, to Salamence, and finally to Krystal, she nodded. Krystal acknowledged her Trainer's wordless command, and opened her mouth, shooting off a powerful Ice Beam attack at the fellow Dragon.

Salamence, however, did not move. Instead, it lopened its own mouth, releasing a powerful blast of orange-red energy-- a Hyper Beam attack. Hyper Beam collided with Ice Beam, sparks flying as a result of the strength from both attacks meeting. Salamence was at a natural advantage, as Hyper Beam was substantially more powerful than Ice Beam, but Krystal was pouring all of her remaining energy into the force of her attack. Since Krystal had previously been badly wounded by Charizard and Taffy, it was very strenuous on her body to continue fighting. The Pokemon knew that she wouldn't be able to last for nearly as long as Salamence would. Her defeat was inevitable. All that she could do was hope to buy time for Sabrina.

Maorde laughed. "Oh, Nina. Are you really going to put your Pokemon through this? Salamence has gotten much stronger since you've last seen me. Its power has grown to the point that he can now entirely obliterate a Pokemon if his Hyper Beam strikes them. In layman's terms, they will turn to dust... hahahaha. Allow me to further demonstrate what I mean." With a snap of his fingers, he watched his Salamence pour at least ten times more of its energy into the Hyper Beam; the beam grew in size and strength, and began quickly pushing back Krystal's Ice Beam. Nina's concern grew in proportion to the power of the Hyper Beam. First, Krystal had the crap kicked out of her by Mewtwo, and now it could potentially happen again because of Maorde... I've underestimated him. I didn't expect that his power would be able to grow so substantially. I don't know what to do. Krystal... She looked to her Pokemon, who was clearly suffering, as a tear formed.

If Krystal was struck by that Hyper Beam, she would become vaporized. She would cease to exist.

She would die.

Nina had already lost one precious Pokemon to this man, and she was not about to have it happen again. "Maorde, stop it! Stop this right now! I give--"

Before anyone had time to react, Clefable distractingly waggled a finger towards Salamence. The Dragon grew distracted from Krystal as a result, and fixated its gaze upon Clefable. Without a second thought, Salamence moved its head, causing the Hyper Beam that it was firing to move away from Krystal, and towards Clefable. In less time than it took to blink an eye, Hyper Beam connected with Clefable, creating a near explosion of dust in its wake, as well as Krystal's Ice Beam finally striking Salamence. The larger Dragon roared in severe pain before collapsing to the ground-- between putting so much energy into the Hyper Beam attack and the result of being struck by such a powerful, advantageous attack from Krystal, it quickly lost consciousness and was recalled by Maorde.

When the dust had settled, Clefable could be seen lying motionless on the ground where she once stood. She was not vaporized. She was still alive, but not even breathing. Using Cosmic Power two turns prior was the only thing that saved the Pokemon's life; had Krystal gotten struck by the attack, it was unquestionable that she would have lost her life. Without really acknowledging what had happened, Whitney collected her Pokemon in its Pokeball, and released Rio, mounting it. All three of its heads seemed to be expressing sorrow. She looked to Nina, who had tears in her eyes. "I have to take care of Clefable." She turned her gaze to meet Sabrina's. "Finish what you must. Don't let my actions have been in vain." Without any further words, Whitney flew off on Rio, knowing that her Clefable was in an extremely critical condition, and the possibility of its passing was very real.

While his sleep was riddled with nightmares and memories, as usual, Mike had a decent night's rest. After years of horrific dreams, you learn to cope. However, as he opened his eyes in a drowsy fog, something wasn't right. The air smelled too different. The room was blazing hot. He didn't know where he was! Mike jumped up with a start and looked around with grit teeth. "Where did you take me now Milo?!" He screamed, snarling. His vision was still blurry, but he was certain this was some sort of prison cell. "Where am I?!" Steam rose from his body as he began to sweat. He heard a door behind him open.

"You're in my lab." said a man.

"I won't become your twisted test subject!" Mike screamed, and turned to attack whoever it was that imprisoned him. He threw a fist forward, but stopped when he saw it was somewhat he knew. He couldn't quite remember where though.

The man threw himself to the side of the room to dodge the flames that shot out from the boy's mouth. "Mike, calm yourself! It's me, Blaine!"

"Wha-Blaine?" The old man's words jarred something loose in his memories. "Oh...oh that's right." Mike stumbled back, bracing himself against a wall. "I came here after...and you...right. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry." He buried his head in his hands.

"It's alright, son. No harm done." Blaine brushed himself off and helped the boy up. "You don't look so good, though. Perhaps we should postpone the training until later?"

"No! No. I'm fine. I'm fine...fine...fine..." Mike shook his head. "I just need a moment. Then I'll be good." He laughed. "Pokemon training is just the distraction I need, eh-heh."

Blaine wasn't entirely convinced (or even a little convinced), but took the boy's word for it. "I'll be in the Gym. When you're ready, I would like to do some practice matches with you."

"Anyone specific you want me to use?" Mike asked.

"Hm...How about your Magmar, your Omanyte and your Crawdaunt for now. That last one especially needs some serious training." Blaine turned and left, closing the door behind him. Mike could hear his cane clicking on the metal floor as he exited the lab.

"You said it." replied Mike, thinking back to all the times Xanthos had disobeyed him. The only time he seemed to listen was when he let him cut loose and be as violent as possible. "That's gonna stop. So help me I'm going to get that Pokemon to respect me if I have to fight him myself."

Nina was silent in recalling Krystal to her Pokeball as Maorde laughed. "You may have won the battle, but it looks like I've won the war! Hahahaha! You stupid girl. You stupid, stupid girl. Did you honestly believe that a simple victory over me in a Pokemon battle would be enough to stop me? What were you hoping to accomplish? I guarantee that it wasn't the death of a Pokemon! Let's be honest, you and I both know that you aren't a fortunate enough person to have that Clefable survive. She is as good as dead. You are useless. You are pathetic. You-- augh!" The man cried out in pain as he felt his body seizing up. "That is enough," Sabrina interjected. "You will cease your affront to my sister immediately." The elder psychic walked forward, her eyes glowing a dark purple, the same color encompassing Maorde's body. He had lost all control over his movement, save for his ability to speak. "What we were hoping to accomplish, my dear, was discerning the location of the Pokemon that you stole from Nina. We have been tracking you for a substantial amount of time, and you can rest assured that we will not leave until you give us that Misdreavus back." "You... augh. You are out of your mind if you believe I will return that Pokemon." Sabrina smiled. "Out of my mind?" she repeated. "Why, that sounds like a splendid idea. I will be out of my mind... and into yours. So, don't worry, this won't hurt. Me."

The girl's entire body glowed, much like Maorde's. She walked toward him and stared into his eyes,
causing him to holler in pain. Inside of her mind, Sabrina saw everything that was in Maorde's; it was playing like a film. She saw everything from Anna's capture to the present day... and that included the location of Anna. Releasing her mental grip on Maorde, Sabrina took a step back, and smiled. "Very interesting," she commented. "I wasn't aware that you kept Anna so very close to your heart." She turned to look at her sister, who had regained her composure. "Nina. He is hiding a Pokeball in the right breast pocket of his jacket. Why don't you liberate it from him?" The girl nodded quickly. "I like the sound of that," she replied, approaching the man who had caused her so much pain; it was a nice change to finally see him in a state of helplessness for once. Reaching into that pocket, Nina discovered that there was, indeed, a Pokeball inside. She took it, holding it carefully, as if it had a type of fragility that could cause it to be broken at the slightest hint of being mishandled. Stepping away from Maorde and ignoring his yells of anger, she released the Pokemon that was trapped inside.

In an eruption of light, a small Ghost Pokemon came into view. Its hair danced as it moved around, and its soft red necklace flickered once or twice. It looked around at its surroundings, attempting to get used to being outside of that godforsaken Pokeball. And then, the Ghost laid eyes on Nina. The only thing that Nina could initially muster to say was, "Oh, my god," before running to her longtime friend and embracing Anna into a hug. "I have missed you so very much..." It was all that Anna could do to prevent herself from crying. "I've missed you too, Nina. I have missed you so much."

Keegan felt an uneasy jolt in his stomach as the Blastoise lurched forward, and soon they were making their way across the water. Keegan quickly opted to hang on to one of the Blastoise's cannons as well, and though he had no desire to test out the water just now, Mai's comments were nearly enough to make him want to throw himself overboard. "Heh, yeah, sure," he muttered, quickly withdrawing and lighting a cigarette. Rather than watch where they were headed, Keegan chose to watch where they had come from, and now and then he flicked the burnt up ashes from his smoke into the water, watching as it drifted away. He glanced over at Mai, and smirked a bit, knowing that she couldn't be more wrong about his thoughts on her. If anything, he spent more time thinking about and trying to forget what had transpired between them the night of the Breeder's Gala than anything else, but having her right there made it all but impossible. Every time he closed his eyes, she was all he could see and smell, and though he hated himself for it, his body ached to feel her touch once again. He grumbled several profanities to himself and toyed with his lighter, trying to pretend like he wanted to be anywhere else in the world right now.

When the Blastoise arrived at the other end of the shore he thanked the massive Turtle Pokemon and hopped off its back, glad to have his feet on solid ground once more. "Thanks for the ride," he muttered, trying not to sound ungrateful, because he was. "By the way, you wouldn't mind giving me Kasiya's Raichu back, now would you?" he asked, though he knew it would probably be a waste of time even asking. He'd already started walking, not bothering to wait for her to answer him, and he lit up another cigarette. After all, he still needed to get Pan healed after his loss to Nova.

Mike threw on his new change of clothes: a black wife beater and beige cargo shorts. "Hm, not bad, actually." He prayed that he wouldn't sneeze and blast his new clothes to cinders. Burning himself naked while training to take down his most bitter enemy would be acceptable grounds for throwing himself into the volcano in shame. It looked like Blaine had a similar thought, and bought a few extras. "What a nice guy." Mike said, laughing a bit.

Blaine waited patiently for Mike, standing beside a Ponyta. He ran his hand gently down it's back and smiled. The little horse happily nudged its trainer. "No, not an official match. Just training." The Gym Leader had many fire Pokemon, and this Ponyta was relatively new: just perfect for some lower level exercises. Blaine heard the steel door scrape against the floor and looked up. Mike walked in looking much more composed. "Feeling better?"

"Much." he replied. "So what now? Am I fighting the Ponyta?"

"Yes. Release your Omanyte. We've got some work to do."

"Alrighty." Mike lobbed a Pokeball into the air. It opened up and in a splash of white light, revealed Camerae.

"Ponyta, Stomp!

The world could have ended and Nina would have been the happiest girl alive. She had one of her very best friends back, and that was all that she wanted for such a very long time. To just be reunited with Anna was the greatest feeling in the world. She felt weightless, as if-- THUD. The girl fell onto the ground as a result of Anna changing her body's structure into a metaphysical form. Anna laughed. "It's good to see that you haven't changed, not even a little bit," she muttered, wiping dirt off of herself as she got to her feet.

"Nope! I'm still the same as when you last saw me! Mind you, I'm much more appreciative of the fact that I have the freedom to roam around outside of that Pokeball. I'd been encapsulated in that thing ever since." Nina turned her glance unto Maorde. "For some reason, I am not surprised in the least," she replied. "What does surprise me is the fact that this coward didn't attempt to abuse or exploit you in any way. I find that very curious." She cracked her neck. "Tell me, Maorde, why didn't you bother doing those types of things? Surely they crossed your mind, no?" Maorde was silent for a moment. "Of course I wanted to," he said. "I wanted to exploit that Pokemon. I wanted to clone it, and experiment on the clones. I wanted to create a Pokemon that was so powerful that mankind would tremble in its wake. I wanted to make the most fearsome Pokemon in existence." Nina laughed. "I've met the most fearsome Pokemon in existence, and you must believe me when I say, that you are much more farther off creating anything that even comes close to rivaling it than you could even begin to comprehend. You are a man who knows only of destruction, and while you've proven to be ruthless and intelligent, you wouldn't be able to create anything that terrifying in ten lifetimes. You're just... a sick, pathetic excuse for a human. I pity you."

"I don't." Sabrina still held a very firm psychic grip on Maorde. "I will never pity this disgusting man. He has caused you unspeakable mental damage. He abducted your most precious Pokemon-- no, your most precious friend, with the intent of exploiting it for his own benefit. And he may have caused the death of one of Whitney's Pokemon. He has been the one single person who has caused more chaos to us and our group of friends than anyone else I know of. He will pay." Maorde laughed. "Sure, sure, I'm going to pay. I've heard that before. You won't actually-- AUGH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?!" Maorde felt the most intense physical and mental pain that had even been brought upon him in his lifetime. His body was shrinking, it was morphing and changing. Everything was beginning to look so much larger. Were Nina and Sabrina growing? Why couldn't he move? Why couldn't he talk anymore? Why couldn't...

Sabrina bent down and picked up the doll of Maorde Menskr. "Don't you dare ever tell me what I will and will not do. I hope that you enjoy spending eternity like this. I am the only person with abilities capable of turning you back, and I will never, ever do so." Sabrina walked over to Nina, and stuffed the doll of Maorde into her sister's backpack. "We will keep this doll safe. No one will ever know of this man's terror again; I can promise you that. His reign has finally come to an end." She smiled weakly before falling to her knees. "Sabrina!" Nina exclaimed, kneeling down beside her sister. "Are you okay?" The elder girl nodded. "Yes. I'm just exhausted. Turning people into dolls takes out a substantial amount of my energy... I need to rest. Will you take me home?" Nina replied that she would. "Of course. Give me just one moment to heal Krystal, and we'll get out of here. Anna, please keep watch." Running into Cerulean's Pokemon Center, Nina had Nurse Joy heal her Pokemon, and immediately thereafter darted out of the Center, releasing Krystal from her Pokeball. She helped Sabrina onto the Dragon before hopping on as well. Anna floated beside them. "Krystal," Nina said, "take us home." With a soft coo, Krystal flew off into the sky, headed southward, bound for Saffron City.

A tall girl with fierce red hair, clothed in a red-and-black outfit, stood behind a nearby tree, watching as the girls flew off. Her fists were clenched so tightly that her knuckles were turning white and the veins in her hands became extremely prominent. "Maorde," she said, "I will avenge you if it is the last thing that I do."

It was impossible for Kasiya not to giggle at Sasha's antics, as Levi had always been kinda slimy, even when she was a tiny Mudkip. "The slime helps her survive on land," she offered, though she didn't think she needed to defend Levi. She could only watch with even more amusement as she sent out her Ninetales to utterly destroy the napkin she'd used to clean herself off with. Before long though, the duo were on their way again, and before long they'd passed into the actual city of Jubilife.

It was every bit as amazing as Kasiya thought it would be, with tall buildings rising up all over the place and cars and people and streets everywhere. At one point she even stopped paying attention to where she was going, and she ran smack into a pole. Sasha's excitement was very contagious though and soon she forgot all about it, not even minding so much when she found herself being violently shaken again as Sasha had pointed out a large, glittering billboard. They eventually did make it to the Pokemon Center, however, and Kasiya was a bit surprised to see that Nurse Joys existed over here in Sinnoh, too. Nova's healing didn't take very long at all, though she didn't see Keegan yet. "Should we wait for Keegan?" she asked, torn between waiting for the redhead and going off to get some shopping done. She still really wanted to go see Professor Rowan today, too! So many things she wanted to do, and she'd only been here for a few hours!

"You know, that's a very nasty habit you've got there," Mai informed Keegan as they both had started to walk towards the gatehouse that separated this watery route from Jubilife City. She wasn't shocked to hear his casual request for the bratty Raichu back, and she nodded enthusiastically, even though he had his back to her. "Oh, why of course, since you asked so nicely," she replied, her voice completely laden with sarcasm, though in actuality, had this conversation happened perhaps a half hour sooner, she probably would have obliged him. She herself had no real use for the Raichu, as she'd never really cared too much for Electric-type Pokemon, and the mouse Pokemon and all its evolutionary forms in particular. Giovanni had told her when she was very young that her father specialized in the Electric-type so she'd always gone out of her way to avoid them like the plague. She sighed and folded her arms across her chest, making a few quick strides to catch up to the redhead, and she fell into stride alongside him, taking care to make sure the smoke wasn't wafting in her direction. She scolded herself mentally when she felt her heart start to beat somewhat erratically, as she refused to admit that her feelings were somewhat on par with Keegan's (though she had know way of knowing what was going on in his mind). At first she'd heavily regretted their night together, but the more she thought about it, the less it bothered her. In fact, looking back on it now, it had been rather enjoyable. After all, they were both consenting adults, were they not? She smiled to herself, feeling as though she had justified her thoughts enough for one day. "I don't actually have the electric rat anymore," she said finally, glancing over at the redhead. "My Boss wanted it."

In actuality, they weren't all that far behind Kasiya and Sasha, and she nodded towards the Pokemon Center as the two females went inside. "You might wanna go heal your Grovyle now," she said idly. "It took quite a beating from that Charmeleon of hers." She patted him on the back and continued walking, her sights now set on accomplishing her next mission, which was to find a suitable place for her to establish the first base of operations for Team Rocket.
