Zyk ruffled his fur uncomfortably as the mew disguised as an eevee came right up to him. She was a little too chipper for the situation, in his opinion. "I guess I could do that," he said grudgingly.
The zubat hopped up to the door and began emitting a bizarre series of squeaks and chirps at the door, the sounds so high-pitched that they were nearly inaudible to everyone except for Zyk. He stopped after a while of this and turned to Lucine. "It's pretty thick," he said glumly. "More than five inches thick, but not much more. I wouldn't try headbutting it, to say the least..."
Zyk returned to the back of the crowd on foot. He was still feeling too down to fly.

Hmm, well some said ice first - others fire. She was opting towards fire, then ice, but... Hmm. It did make more sense to go with heat first, then cool it down really fast. Maybe ice, heat, more ice? It'd be easier to heat it up super hot if it wasn't freezing first, and needed to thaw. Perhaps she should mention it? Maybe.
"Well, I think... I think it might be better to do fire moves first," she suggested. Rebecca was right, too; heat then cold made metal things weaker. Doing that at least once, possibly a few times, might make it weak enough to shatter it. "If we blasted it with ice first, it would just make it harder to get it super-hot after, since we'd have to thaw it out before actually making it really hot. And if we heat it up and cool it down a few times, it should get really weak. I don't think it would melt onto the floor," she added as an after-thought. If it did, then good; it meant they could melt it until they could get through. She'd just freeze the melted metal to the floor.

 This whole being trapped by humans business was suddenly turning very boring. Enide hadn't have much do to with humans until she had been captured by Sienna. It was like being thrown into a whole new world. But she was gradually getting used to it. Too used to. She only missed Sienna a little bit, at least with her things didn't get old, they tended to travel a lot.
The murkrow finally happened upon a group of pokemon trying in front of the big metal door. The only one she really recognized was Zyk.
"Hallo, Zyk. What're you guys up to over here?" She greeted the zubat.

Daybreak stepped out into the hallway after taking a nap in the bedroom. Hey, there wasn't anything else to do, so she might as well conserve her energy.
She walked over to the group of Pokemon huddling near the door and sighed. "You guys are still trying to open it? I highly doubt that burning or freezing it will work. These Rockets imprison those kinds of Pokemon all the time. Why would they have doors that anyone can break down, with the right moves?"
When will this madness end?

"They're trying to break down the door," Zyk said to Enide, voice dull. "They're going to use fire to heat it up, then freeze it to break it down, it looks like..." Zyk sighed. Again, the useless zubat could do nothing but watch. He didn't know any fire attacks and his only ice attack was Haze, which would do nothing but cloud the other pokemon's visions and cool the room slightly. Yep, he was left with the useless task of measuring the width of the door...
Somehow, Zyk tied his inability to open the door with his inability to protect Zinnia. If all he could do was measure here, then in real life, he could only watch and measure the amount of danger Zin was in, rather than actually do anything to help.

"And if the metal tries to melt on to the floor, ice moves can stop it before it harms anyone," Rebecca said with a triumphant grin. "Hurrah! Good thing a lot of people seem to know ice moves. I'm Rebecca, by the way," she said, thinking that both Lila and the unknown Misdreavus should have something to call her other than Oi You. "And I know a grand total of zero ice moves and zero fire moves, I'm afraid - award for the most useless conspirator I think goes to me at this stage. I'll be more useful once there's some sneaking around to do."

Hmm… five inches? That was pretty thick… that was nearly as thick as half of Lucine’s height. But that was ok. They could get through it. “Thank you,” she said to the zubat before trotting back to the door and the debate.
Well, it seemed that the votes were against her and Lila promised that she’d be able to control the melt. “Alright,” the mewvee said uncertainly. “But try to be careful, Ok? We don’t want to accidentally burn the things on the other side of it. I don’t think I know any fire-type moves, unfortunately.” As an eevee, she was limited to only what eevees could do. “I could use Rain Dance when it’s time to freeze it though? Or… or I could use Sunny Day to try and improve the effectiveness of the fire moves?”
And the espeon was, once again, going on about how impossible this was. “Now, now. This is no time to be negative. I’m certain we can break this one down. After all, they don’t expect pokémon to ever break out. If you aren’t going to help, then sit over there and please let us work.”

 His eyes searched the changing screens, the base was a lot bigger then they were lead to believe. It answer why the security system was so complicated. Apparently they were just in section A. Menudo close his eyes for a moment, feeling dizzy and clenching down the nausea and headache he was developing, when he open his eyes, he wished he hadn't. Well, it would be nice that they won't have to bash the door down....He got up and was about to open the door, but he stopped and looked back at the screens, looking at the one above his last look.
He swallowed thickly and walked back, pressing down on a few keys, the camera zoomed in. The trainers. Inside a cage. Not moving. He zoomed in further and stared at the screen unblinking until he saw a familiar leg twitch that belong to his human. Ah, they were asleep. He almost collapse with his own sigh of relief. Wait, he knew Adriel pretty well by now, and the man was claustrophobic in buildings, put him in a cage and he would probably bash against the bars like a wild pokemon. So...how could he be sleeping, how could they be sleeping. He searched teh cage with the camera as much as possible until he saw some kind of fogging smoke come over the trainers. Ah, sleeping gas. That made sense.
Well...they better go get them. He came out of the security room, just in time to see some of the pokemons gathering up at the door. "....?" Oh no. He had been coming out of the security room before, why had he been coming out, must remember must remember must remember.

Unable to find Liz or Gwend, Penners stood aside to watch the group at the door. After a while of watching and listening, she was able to figure out what they were after and knew she'd be of little help, knowing neither fire nor ice moves. She decided to wait by the stairwell. Were the no other Rockets in the building? Surely they'd come after the earlier explosions and whatnot. She decided to stand lookout to give warning if any came out the door.

"Heyhey, I know a Fire attack! Heat Wave. It's probably the only move Sienna had Frey teach me. I've also got an Ice one, too." The murkrow suddenly missed both her trainer and fellow teammate more than she did before. Maybe she was getting attached to them.
She didn't let it bring her down, however.Zyk seemed pretty gloomy again, though. Since her last failed attempt to cheer him up, she figured maybe he was usually like that. "Come on, Zyk let's go help them bust it open!" Enide was is a more cheerful mood with the prospect over destroying something. The murkrow began to flutter over to the metal door.

Uh oh....! Because of the explosions from the day before, four grunts had come down to the level, wondering what the explotions were, thought thinking it was just probably a rattata that got into the bulbasaur/charmander room. When they spotted the pokemon, well, lets just say they freak and tried to use mind-controlled murkrows on them that they were gonna use on a rattata they thought they were gonna find. Padding out of the room he previously occupied, Doom found a large group standing in front of a door. They seemed to be trying to knock it down. Frowning, the Houndoom moved to the front of the crowd. Growling at anyone who tried to stop him, he quickly conjured up a Fire Wheel and shot it at the door; fire-type was likely to be very useful in this situation.
