After a little bit, Hikaru felt like a force was healing her mental status little by little. After all, it was her shadow which was injured. She realizes who it was from the psychic abilities, and looked over to the martyr for gratitude, without saying a word. Instead, she nodded lighty, knowing there was no need for hollow words. But after that other being walked in, it suddenly got a bit uncomfortable. What a pompous buffoon, barging in like this. She thought to herself as she rolled her eyes and turned her head. Of course you're going to get atacked with you shouting off you mouth like that. Though I must admit...I like how he talks his lingo, even if he is a bit loud. "Quiet down, please." She said lowly, though she knew he could still hear her. "If it were possible, you'd be waking the dead...too late for that..." she ended her sentence with a smark remark and pun.

Kensington chuckled, 'Not one for the fast lane I see, ah well we all have our crosses to bear.' He could read what she was thinking about his and it made him smile all the more, 'Oh come now! Don't be a wet blanket, what's life without a little raz? Well I say life but that's not quite true now is it. I may be pompous my dear, but I know how to enjoy myself and as for what happened with that blasted Lycan, well I can hardly say I shouted my mouth off. One must be cautious outside the coven, Lord only knows what may be lurking out there!' He chuckled. 'The coven is one of the few places our kind can act without fear of attack or discovery. I only sought jovial conversation, but if you'd rather be left in peace then I'm sure I can amuse myself some other way. I believe there is a copy of Beau Geste lying aroung somewhere.' He said scanning the bookshelves

I, myself am in to poetry, and Shakespear. Some famous haikus were written in my day. From Buson. Ever heard of him?"

He smiled when she mentioned Buson, 'Yes I know his works, though I prefer Kobayashi Issa, especially his hiaku 'Asked how old he was'. It reminds me of the innocence we all shared when we were young.' He reached down the book he was looking for, 'Though I must admit poetry isn't my main interest, I'm far more at home in literature.' He said as he looked at the book in his hand, Beau Geste by P. C. Wren.

Yuki stepped quietly into coven she looked around and saw two others of her kind speaking. She stepped onto the shadows not wanting to intrude, She wasn't sure if she'd be safe here but she had no other option she must stay. So she stood in the shadows thinking...

Yuki stood there playing with her dark brown ringlet curls, her dark silver eyes scanned the room she wasn't sure where the others went ... she smoothed her black corset top and slightly adjusted her black flowing skirt she sighed and continued thinking

Metavarius opened the heavy wooden door on the thirtieth level of this strange building, timidly entering his new coven's hideout. He didn't know any protocol here, didn't know if he was supposed to present himself to the leaders first or if he should merely remain unnoticed and know his place as a newcomer to their ranks.
The large oak door was harder to close than he expected, and it appeared to have made a gouge in the floor over years of use, though that seemed the only blemish in the entire room. The rest was an entirely extravagant decadence that would take him some time to get used to. He'd never been a part of a coven before. Were they all like this one? Metavarius had spent most of his unlife taking refuge wherever he could, after his sire left him he simply learned to survive.
Coming out of his thoughts he looked around the large empty room to take account of its inhabitants.

She sized up the newcomer from across the room. "Many a face I have seen, but yours escapes me." She walked closer casually, her eyes not leaving him.

"It is as you said, indeed you have not seen my face for it is generally seen by no one." Metavarius bowed from the waist toward the vampire that had approached him. " I am a new addition, you might say, to your regal coven. My name is Metavarius."
This was all so new to him, meeting new people whom he now was intrinsically tied to for who knows how long. It seemed they had this intimate connection that he was not yet a part of, he didn't know what to make of that.
I will learn in time, he supposed.

"First time for everyone."
She walked close to him almost in his personal space, her deep emerald eyes drifting over his attire, and his features. Her head tilted slightly and a hand went to her hair, shifting it around.
"Well then. I suppose a welcome is in order. Welcome to the New York Coven, Metavarious. What brings you?"
Her voice had slight French accents to it, as she was originally from France.

Core walks into the Coven main room , closing the heavy door behind her silently . She scans the room , seeing yet again , everyone is already in a conversation . * sigh * She looks down at her nails .
Comes out , silver and all . Retracts nicely . In . Out . And again . * sigh *

Her long white dress is slightly dusty from the long walk up . She finds a mirror and corrects her tiara , so it`s even more perfectly centered on her head . She plays with her golden extremely long hair , trying to untangle the knots that weren`t there . * sigh *

Jagger stopped at the door.She looked down to find her cloak covering her whole body.She kept her black hood on and walked in.She looked around to find everyone talking.Hmmm,if humans saw this they would think we are hypocrites.she thought,smiling a little.
