3nodding Preggo rage. It's caused by the hormones. I have yet to talk to a woman who has ever been pregnant that didn't get it from time to time.

The last time my mother was pregnant, she would have all the men at work tell her "yes dear," to anything she asked and it would promptly get done. One of the single guys asked WTH that was about and they simply said, "You give a pregnant woman what she wants and that's all there is to it." Because they know what happens when you irk a pregnant woman and the hormones get going.

Fear the preggo rage. Heh.

All I could do was let it run its course and then when it was over apologize like there was no tomorrow. I couldn't control it when it was happening and when I was in the moment, my anger would seem justified. When I'd calm down awhile later, I'd realize I flew off the handle for nothing. And then I'd apologize and be extra sweet and have to reassure my hubby that someday I'd have stable normal hormones again and I'd have some control over it.

And in my case, I wanted to be pregnant, we tried for 7 months before it happened. Pregnancy is hard on the body whether it's wanted or not.

Oh yeah, my boyfriend has experienced preggo rage and it was over something silly too. Well, after I calmed down it seemed silly. XD

Just explain to him that you're pregnant. A million different changes are going on in your body right now. You can't help it. Pregnancy is hard on the body.

It wasn't just a little rage which I guess is why it confused me..

I didn't want to be touched by him at all, held, or anything.

On TOP of the dumbest things pissing me off. I'd ask for hot dogs for dinner and he'd suggest chicken and it was like he told me he needed me to use a fork to cut off my foot or the world was going to end or something.

xd

Glad to know I wasn't alone though.

Interesting [:

I have to admitt I don't think I've suffered from this preggo's rage, I'm getting tired of feeling this way but I've yet to snap at my partner directly. Sure I get irked about things but i just complain and its generally for rational reasons...

At 33 weeks now and darn I can't wait to get the hardest part of all done and hold my little boy <3

Preggo rage, hm? I remember crying over laundry because John didn't do it exactly when I wanted him to. I stood in the kitchen with my arms folded, staring out of the window sobbing my heart out. He laughed at me.

I hated the pregnancy hormones. I'd cry or get angry over the stupidest things, and KNOW I was being stupid... but there was nothing I could do to control how I felt.

We'd had a friend coming over practically every day, and one day I told my husband, "NO! He can NOT come over today!"

I eavesdropped on the conversation when he called his friend and said, "Well, I guess we have to cancel today. Christie's just being... well... just being pregnant."

LOL.

And I wanted pickles SO badly that I considered breaking my pickle jar to get them out... I hadn't been able to open it for a month. Hubby was out to sea on the submarine, so I called some of his friends. One got the jar open, hands it to me, and I grabbed a pickle and took one bite... and threw it away.

They stared at me like I was nuts.

Where have all my fellow preggo ladies gone??

62 more days to go!??!?! gonk I am so not ready! I have nothing done. I have been miserable this week with my second sinus infection this pregnancy. Thank god I have an appt Tuesday. Speaking of that, I am getting a 3D ultrasound done that day too. I am super excited! I have also decided to try for a VBAC so she should have a referal for a Dr/CNM who will allow me to try that day too. At my last appt 2 weeks ago she looked over my records from Ethan's birth and said she saw no reason why I couldn't be successful. She said I waited long enough to get pregnant again, there were no complications from the surgery, I seemed to heal really well, and as long as everything is still looking good with the little peanut on the ultrasound I should have a green light to go ahead!

So how is everyone else doing??

I am! I'm at 37 weeks and he's going to be a big one! Especially considering I'm so small and this is my first, they reckon he'll be a 9 pounder even if i don't go full term heh!

We're calling him Matthew Ian, we can't settle on the surname though sweatdrop I want Denningberg in honor of my great grand parents but he wants to use his Avey.. I agreed to take his if our son can take Denningberg sweatdrop

I'm still alive and still pregnant. I had my ultrasound almost 2 weeks ago. I'm having a boy and he looks healthy, as far as they can tell from the ultrasound. biggrin Little guy will be named either Thomas William or William Thomas. I thought we'd settled on Thomas William, but Joel started calling him "Liam" (a short version of William) so if he's set on calling him that I want to have William as his first name.

Other than that, I'm surviving this pregnancy. Congestion and headaches have just become a way of life for me. Not fun, but I'm dealing with it. I'll be 20 weeks along tomorrow so I'm halfway done!

I like both your name options Ritza! We still haven't picked one yet. I have a feeling we'll findsomething we both like at the very last minute!

Thanks, Syll! I have a feeling we'd be coming down to the wire trying to really decide on a name if we were having another girl. We couldn't decide on anything. At least with a boy, we're just trying to decide on the order of the name. mrgreen

See I am the exact opposite. I have about a million girls names I love but I can't seem to find any boys names. sweatdrop

Yay for my ultrasound in an hour! I am so excited!!

Edit: The appt went well. Got some really cute shots of the little guy even though he was trying to hide the whole time. I did get my referal to a CNM who will take me in and allow me to VBAC. The only bit of bad news we got was he is still breech. If he doesn't turn then no VBAC for me. As soon as I get the u/s pictures scanned in I'll put some up!

I hope the little guy decides to turn around for you!

I'm very excited by the end of today I could be holding my son, but also a lil' scared, He's pretty big and I'm quite small... and this is my first but here's hoping it goes smooth!
