Xavier looked over and saw Summer, and instantly smiled. "Hola," He said to her jokingly. Then, he noticed she looked a little down. He frowned and walked over to her, looking worried. He put one hand on her shoulder, "You okay?"
Oh God, he thought, was it last night? Or in the showers? Is there...
Is Summer.... ?
Oh God, oh God, oh God. He slapped himself mentally numerous times, trying to figure out what was wrong.

"Yeah I'm alright but didn't you see me walking outside?" She asked him smiling at him and taking his hand and holding it breifly before she dropped it and finished saddling shadow.
Chris followed behind her and then ask, "What's for breakfast today?"

Xavier didn't realize he was holding his breath until she told him she wasn't going to be pregnant and he breathed a sigh of relief. "No," He said quietly. "Mornings are my weakness. Just take my word on that." He added jokingly, trying to lighten her mood. He tickled her ribs a tiny bit as well, which was cause for good measure in his terms.

"Hey, no problem." Xavier said, hugging her back. Then, he looked over at Shadow, who was completely saddled up. "You going for a ride?" He asked her. The last thing he wanted to do was smother her, and he didn't want to be smothered. However, he really, really liked spending time with her and was glad they had met. He felt truly lucky.

Xavier smiled. "Sure," He replied. "I'll go get Lady - she'll like the running too." With that, he flashed a grin at her and went over to get Lady. She seemed excited that she was going to get some exercise and gladly let Xavier saddle her, which was actually usually something that she mildly disliked. He mounted the mare and smiled at Summer, near the exit of the barn. "Y'ready?" He asked her.

"Yeah." Xavier replied, smiling. With a signal, Lady trotted off towards the fields once more, but now she was heading in the opposite horizontal direction. Maybe there was a different part of the river they hadn't seen yet, maybe it would be even better. That would be nice...
Xavier smiled over at Summer. He was so happy to be with her, and he really felt relieved. After being so stressed, even if just for a minute or two, it felt good to have it released by a simple 'no'.

"Morning to you as well" Emily replied turning around so that she was facing him and kissed him on the cheek.
Apollo snorted and turned around so that he was facing his stall and not the two lovers. He sometimes acted like a little child and not like a teenager.

Esmeralda had, as usual, tossed on whatever she could find - in this case, dark-grey jeans and a white top - and run out to the barn by six. She was used to getting up early. Getting home before anyone realized she'd been out all night was important, after all.
She had done her share of the chores, and had taken it upon herself to empty and clean Sahara's water bucket as well - it was filthy. Now she was just grooming the mare, realizing with an unpleasant twinge that she was nervous about getting on the mare again. That was annoying. She was not afraid, she insisted to herself. Keeping her fingers light, she stroked the horse's neck. "We'll be all right, gorgeous," she promised. "Just give me some time to work up to full gallops, all right?"
Lazily, she began humming along with some music that had been stuck in her head all night - she didn't have a clue what the words were, or she would have actually been singing it in an effort to get it out of her head. Hopping on Sahara's back, she slowly walked the mare out.
Roman sighed. He'd gotten up with the first blaring of the alarm, and had handled his chores silently, ignoring all the coming and going in the barn. He'd looked in on Ariel, who'd whinnied at him familiarly before he'd gone on to check on Phoenix.
Currently, he was just grooming the horse - he didn't intend to ride this morning. He could take it slow with the big stallion. He was going to turn Phoenix out after cleaning him up, and then maybe he and Kahlilia would take their horses out later to practice jumping and...whatever it was that Kahlilia had wanted to try with Benvolio.

Kahlilia was outside the barn by now, hosing Ben down. He seemed to enjoy it, because he was shaking his mane and being very affectionate despite himself. The girl was laughing because the stallion was getting her all wet again, but she didn't mind. They were talking to one another as though sharing jokes, because the mood was very light and seemingly friendly. Once she turned off the hose, she began to comb his brown and white coat, petting him gently. She had given him his normal breakfast and just like always a carrot or an apple she was growing a habit of sneaking in. I should probably stop sneaking treats, she told herself, and with that added that she would stop sneaking. Besides, what good did it do?
If you regret something painfully, you shouldn't have done it, sweetie. The voice of her mother echoed through her mind as she thought aimlessly, thinking things she hadn't thought about in years and saying things she might have never said before in her life.

Summer smiled back at him then kicked Shadow into a gallop, "So tell me why we're you so tense? Did you think I was going to tell you I'm pregnant?" Summer asked him surprising herself when the question came out of her mouth.

Lady galloped right after Shadow, giving her a friendly whinny of greeting. Xavier smiled, but it faded and he turned pale when he heard Summer's question. Actually, he was reacting like she actually was going to be or was pregnant but was currently unable to catch himself. "Uh," He said weakly, then hesitated. "Yeah. Sorry." He flashed her a quick smile, trying to will the color to return to him.
