"Well, it was built to last forever. Cook built it himself when he was first hired over here. Under this wood and insulation is stone. Simple was the point in the design...It's homey, welcoming." She said, snuggling into the warmth of Cook's shoulder as she planted herself on his lap.

((ok)) With a thought from Danni Night appeared in front of cook, not even two feet away from his face. There was a few seconds of silence before Night spoke "...Hows it going?" He asked as Cook seemed to be dumbstruck.

Ophiuchus calmly walked into the building, glancing around, looking for Dymetri. His sensitive ears picked up the vibrations of a voice, and perhaps something being moved around? Thinking of Lin, his face was pulled into a frown. Teachers and students should never have an personal relationship, not in a formal setting. In his opinion, it defiled the honor of the academy, and of the persons present. It disgraced the teaching profession.
Neon was also looking for Dymetri, but for an entirely different reason. It was night now, she was supposed to meet him. And she had been craving blood a bit stronger today. She had gone out and killed a few people, watching their blood squirt and run down their slashed necks, but it hadn't held quite the same thrill. Not even when she drove the rusted handsaw into the woman's swollen belly. Usually, Neon got a huge kick out of killing unborns. Whatever Dymertri had done to her, she was not the same in the head anymore. All day she kept thinking of him, visualizing his face on her every target that day. And it had been pretty hot, actually.
She was inside the Night building, silently crawling around in the ceiling. When she came to the room where she sensed Dymetri, she closed her eyes and cast a spell, causing her to be nothing more than mist. She gracefully entered the from through the ceiling, and was so silent and hidden by the shadows that Heather did not seem to notice her. Nor Dymetri, who was currently touching bases with the slut. No. For that, they would be punished, Neon style.
At that precise moment, Ophiuchus arrived, and his eyes nearly bugged out of his skull. "What. Are. You. DOING?!" he roared, the force of his angry aura enough blind and dumb everyone for a few seconds. When all was clear, he was holding a long spear with a basilisk's fang at the end, dripping dark indigo venom, burning holes into the floor. "Are you TRYING to destroy everything around you?"

Dymetri blinked. "Are you TRYING to ruin this for me?" He was staring in at Ophiuchus, his lips a tight, thin line. "She's offering and you're basically c**k-blocking to the extreme, here. I don't even have to work for this, dude." he said, occasionally sweeping a hand over the air on top of Heather. Rolling his eyes at the sight of his spear, he sighed and adjusted himself on top of his desk once more, re-buttoning his slacks. "Everyone here is so uptight.. Can't even get.. ******** anything.. Ice sex.." he continued mumbling to himself, certain words being heard over the others. He looked at his student, who was probably on the verge of fainting. "Ms. Summers, you could take your seat now." He grabbed the student seating chart that was behind him. "Your seat is.." he began, scanning the paper with his night vision. "Right over there." he said, pointing to a seat on the far left. Turning back to Ophiuchus, he smiled briefly. "Turn on the light, would you? It's right next to you by the white board. I'm sure she cannot see a damn thing."

Heather frowned deeply and went over to her seat in a huff. She crossed her arms in anger and scowled ahead. She could not go against a direct order from a professor, and she would not fool around with one in front of another professor. And she had been about to have the best time of her life with one of the hottest men she had ever seen. Dammit!!!

Ophiuchus nearly snarled at Dymetri and raised his left hand. "Fine, I'll get your light." He held his palm upward and a ball of fire erupted, so powerful it was blue and white, and shot out horizontally before thinning to a powerful white pillar of combustion. He didn't get a chance to actually attack though, because the room was flooded with a light to bright that Ophi's eyes slitted to the point of almost not having any pupils at all.
"Ugh. Knew you were too good to be true. Can't believe you forgot about me that quickly. Oh well. You're no great loss." Neon was no longer mist, but a woman sitting atop one of the desks in the right-hand corner of the classroom. She had swapped out her clothes after her killing spree, and was now dressing in a black stealthsuit that left very, VERY little to the imagination, and a pair of black ballet boots. She was the source of the extreme light.

Dymetri hissed at Ophiuchus as the fire came near, reverting to his defensive posture. Hunched over, and his arms spread as if preparing to strike. But, when he became temporarily blind again, he soon lost patience. "Okay. Who the hell keeps flashing bright lights? Because whoever you are, I'd appreciate it if you tone it down and keep it on for the duration of my class." He turned his head to meet Neon's gaze, his mouth opening slightly. Was she stalking him? But damn, she did look sexy. He realized that she overheard through the entire situation and sighed. "And I thought you would have been the perfect partner. But here you are, spying on me when we haven't even gone on a date." he said, standing up straight. "Perhaps if you didn't sick your familiar on me the first time I actually felt soothed by being near you, we wouldn't be in this predicament, now would we?" Dymetri was such a smartass, but he always had something to say when the moment came. He pointed at her shoe choice. "Don't those hurt?"

Neon glanced at her feet. "Nah, you get used to them." She looked back up at Dymetri. "I didn't sick her on you, ya know. She was just doing her job." When Neon's light died down a little, blood stains were visible all up and down her arms, across her bosom, and her hands were completely red. "Nor was I spying. It's not fault you were too dense to sense my aura a mile away. I mean, the queer over here saw me." When she shifted her weight oh-so-slightly, a bloody, rusty, handsaw blade with bits of torn flesh still hanging from it was lying next to her on the desk.
Ophiuchus split his gaze between Neon and Dymetri, and took a step back. "Mr. Valen, your job is in jeopardy now, and opinions of you have been irreversibly lowered." Of course, this was all formal talk for 'You're gonna get yer a** fired off the face of the Earth!'

Lin tossed in her sleep, feeling something wrong. She didn't know what since she was asleep, but something didn't feel right at all.
She mumbled worriedly in her sleep, "Dymetri..."

He walked over to Neon, ignoring Ophiuchus completely. "Her job is to make sure you don't get held by a man?" he asked, narrowing his eyes at the blood. "I was preoccupied, Neon." he said in a tone that made it seem like it was obvious to know that. "The world does not revolve around you." He reached out for her face and softly stroked her cheek before lowering to the blade. He pulled off a piece of flesh and brought it to his face, smelling it. It was fresh. Dymetri licked it, his face twisting as if the blood still lingering on it was sour. It was probably the rust. "You have strange tastes, Neon. Unless.. you didn't feed on whomever you killed." He raised a brow, dropping the skin and stepping closer to her. Raising his chin, he chuckled. "You need to drink the blood you make others shed, Neon. Because of me, you're a vampire now." A couple silent moments passed by until he heard his name being called from an unknown source. It was faint and it was a woman's voice. Clearer, now, he realized it was Lin's voice. His position for Neon to feed on him remained, but his eyes began to wander, as if Lin was in the room. Closing his eyes, he tried to enter her thoughts, tried to see what else she was thinking about. All he saw was a thick fog with his name being repeated and echoed. "Ugh.." he grunted. He wasn't able to see anything. Was she sleeping? Ha, that would be surreal. Lin dreaming of me.. Lin. She wouldn't approve of this at all..

"Nope!" Neon replied cheerfully. "I just let the dogs have the bodies. Hope you like the taste of rusty fetus." She watched Dymetri for a minute or two, before she but a bloodied hand to his forehead. Her eyes turned pink as she sent part of Dymetri's soul into the dreamworld. Her psychic powers were heightened, and she could tell that he was trying to reach someone.
Meanwhile, Ophiuchus, still maintaining his pillar of fire, rushed at Neon in a fury. She was covered in blood. She had killed someone. And this man, who was supposed to be a teacher, associated with her! They both had to go!
With her free hand, Neon created a shield, and the blasts of fire were just deflected. The murderer marveled at her new powers. She liked them very much. In fact, she wanted more. And maybe Dymetri would be able to help her there.

Lin suddenly found herself in that ocean again that she had been in with Dymetri earlier that night. Their shoulders and faces were above the surface and they were so close again. His face was mere centimeters away from hers and her breathing was shallow and very quick. She didn't understand why they were so close or what was going to happen. All she knew was that her heart was racing and she felt an amazing thrill in her that she had never even come close to experiencing before.
Dymetri started to lean in towards her, as he had done under the ocean earlier that night. She started to lean in as well for some unknown reason. Their faces were SO close....

Her touch sent him spiraling downward through the air, crashing into an ocean. He opening his eyes, realizing he was able to breathe as if he were floating in air. He also couldn't feel the water around him. But his hair.. his clothes.. they were behaving as though he really was in the water. He raised his head to search for Neon, but he didn't see her. No, whom he laid his eyes on was a different woman. It was Lin and it was another version of him. It was repeating the events of earlier, when Dymetri wanted to kiss her. Except she didn't reject him. She was almost going to touch his lips.. it seemed like a dream. He looked up, through the surface of the ocean. A thick fog was enclosing the water. Ah.. he thought, understanding. Neon sent me into the dreamworld. He turned back to Lin and the dream version of himself and blinked. After opening his eyes, he was staring back at Neon, in his classroom. The look on her face made him want to laugh. "Why are you looking at me in such an odd way?"
