Sesshoumaru walked casually, his face still expressionless. He could use the Tensaiga to cure any wounds, but the girl was a human, so he didn't care.

Kagome hadn't noticed, but she had fallen asleep on Inuyasha's back while he carried her. She snuggled into his warm back and smiled.

Kagome mumbled something in her sleep, but it passed quickly. Slowly, her eyes fluttered open and she lifted up her head. "Huh? Inuyasha? Where are we?" she asked, sounding slightly confused.
