Cam laughed. "You think I obey the rules?" he asked, still holding his wand limply in his fingers. Smarter men than he had lost their lives to being too trustworthy. He trusted Cherry because she was sincere...and good looking. But he didn't know Raven enough, yet.

"Oh stop being tough in front of Cherry. I"ll duel you another day in the Forbidden Forest if you think you're brave enough." She said in a whisper only he could hear. "Now please. Enter my room. You'll find we're not as we seem here." She said gesturing him in. "I really hate for us all to get in trouble. Seriously."

"Come on. I wear glasses." Cam said. As if to emphasize that fact, he pushed them up his nose slightly. "I couldn't look tough if I tried. I'm just...not very trust worthy, being in the lion's den." he explained, spinning the wand idly between his fingers as he walked inside.
"Well?" he asked.

Raen laughed. "Doesn't mean you aren't trying, and anyway I understand that you're not very trusting of others, but we here" She said pointing to the girl in her room, "Are peaceful women who don't seek to harm you." She smiled. "This is Carina, of Gryffindor, and This is Abigail, of Slytherin. We come at peace...uh-hhh...sorry didn't catch your name."

Carina watched as Raven left the doom room, and she went and put her ear to the door, listening to what was going on. When she heard footsteps coming back up the stairs, she backed away in enough time to see Raven come back in with Cherry, and a boy she didn't know. She gave them a smile as she was introduced. "Looks like I'm not the only student in the wrong dormitory..." She said almost laughing.

"It would seem so, Carina. Either way, we're happy to keep him hidden properly so no one gets in trouble." Raven said nodding. "You're name, please?" She said as she looked at his wand. "Seriously, out that thing away. We have no use for those. I'm also a prefect, so please put it away." she threatened lightly.

Cam looked around the room, nodding. He felt a little nervous for multiple reasons: one, he was in, as he said, the lion's den. Two, he was surrounded should things go wrong. Three, the group was made up entirely of girls. He didn't do that well talking to girls in groups.
"Alright, sorry. Nervous habit." he said, flipping it around his thumb before slipping it away in an interior pocket. "The name's Cameron." he added.

Cherry reached for Cam's hand and squeezed it lightly as she climbed the stairs and entered the dormitory. SHe let go the moment they hit the light of the room. She smiled, "It is nice to see you again, Raven. Thanks for letting my friend here stay. He's really great, and on the side that wants Voldemort destroyed." she said lightly. It was the way she said things so light-hearted and cheerfully people found her a little too sweet or too cute. Boy if they only knew the bad pumping in her veins she thought. She stood next to Cam and looked at the way the firelight hit his face. She had never been so intrigued by someone so...normal before.

"Welcome, Cameron. All formalities aside, sorry about threatening you. I have to keep up appearances in case a professor, or another Slytherin were to pass by." Raven said rolling her eyes. She heard a knock on her door, and Draco came in. "Welcome back pumpkin. How was detention?" She said giggling at having called him pumpkin. "It's no problem, Candy. Just trying to do good in the evil time. And is it true Cameron? You're on our side?"
Draco's face grew red. "Pumpkin? Really Raven?" he said hugging her, and sitting on her bed. Turning around he noticed Cameron. "Another non Slyherin. Jeesh, Carina. You set such a bad example. Tsk tsk tsk." He said with a chuckle. "I'm only joking."

"Hello Draco. Haven't seen you in a while. How's your father?" Cherry asked. She knew the Malfoy family well. In fact she knew alot of families well. Especially since her grandfatjer was oblivious to everyone's turn to the dark side and insisted all of her father's close friends and their families come to his lavish Christmas parties. It was all nonsense to Cherry.

Cam noticed that Cherry was standing there, looking at him. He'd have to talk to her, later...in private. But somewhere safe, not the hallways.
He felt a bit of pity for her: with who her father was, she probably didn't have many friends, once they learned her secret. No one wanted to be friends with someone who's father killed for fun.
Yet he was interested at how she could live with that and still be someone completely different than her father.
He looked at Raven when she began speaking. He shook his head dismissively. "Don't worry. Dark times require a bit of caution." he said, waiting for her to continue. When she didn't, and Draco came in, he stiffened a little.
If there was any person he didn't trust in this school among students, this boy was it. He resisted the urge to draw his wand, and forced himself to relax. Draco wasn't a threat...for now.

"Hello, Cherry. It's good to see you. Been a while." HE said smiling. "MY father though. Well we all know he's nothing but a prude. Though he did tend to enjoy your grandfather's Christmas Parties. I'm sure it was because of all the Death Eaters there. You know how the full blood crap is. Though here we are making it through the rough times working for the good people like my father wish to irradicate." He said looking around the room, and at Raven.

Raven nodded at Cameron. She noticed him tense up when Draco walked in the room. "He's harmless, Cameron. He's my boyfriend, and has had a change of heart. He works with us against Voldemort." She said kissing Draco's cheek.
((it's hard to keep up playing two rolls lmao! I've been playing Draco's part for some time now, but we're moving fast..this is fun smile ))

Cherry looked back at Cam and noticed his jaw locked. She hoped he would relax. Draco was always different at the Christmas parties. But she knew alot of people didn't like him. He seemed so...capable was the only word Cherry could find. She changed the subject and looked at Cam, "Do you think the school isn't safe anymore either? Because I haven't felt safe here in a long time but I thought I was the only one." Then again Cherry never felt safe and always felt nervous. If her father wanted her, he could have her. And the ministry couldn't stop him because biologically and legally she was his child. That was a ground shaking thought.

"I'm sorry...I'm having a hard time trusting people these days." Cam said, extending a hand to Draco.
"It's your reputation, unfortunately. Don't worry, I'm the type to look past that." he said, looking over at Cherry while his hand was still in the air.
"No, I don't. No offence to present company, but the Death Eater's have got Slytherin wrapped around their finger. They'll do whatever they ask. And the Death Eaters are plain horrible...most aren't competent teachers, for the most part. I've learned more on my own in a week than I have in a week of classes." he said. "They also have a penchant for really hurting people they don't like. I mean, really hurting people. I dunno...this place hasn't been the same since D-" he began, stopping as he remembered who was there. "Death Eaters took over." he finished.

Cherry let out a nervous laugh when Malfoy mentioned all the Death Eaters that had been around. Funny how she was ashamed with Cam there. She then sat on the floor by the fireplace. She tugged at her sleeve and felt something under her skin move. The dark mark was probably moving and getting darker. "uh oh." she mumbled, her eyebrows pushed together in thought. "So we're all on the same side then? To take down Voldemort?" she said looking around the room.
