"Easy, Kim. You don't wanna blow a gasket, now, do ya?" Jack teased, knowing the Dragon of Fire (in training) would be absolutely furious by this point.
Kimiko almost turned to Jack and pummeled him, instead. Almost. Instead, she simply huffed and crossed her arms. "You guys are so immature," she grumbled.
Jack ignored her insult and instead looked towards his new favorite God. "See ya later, Emmet. Oh, and... Thanks."

Jack smiled brightly. "Thanks, Emmet. You're one cool dude," he replied, pocketing the watch.
Kimiko bit her lip; if she went off on someone now, it would only prove that she was immature as well.
"If you look carefully," Jack began, "You can actually see the fire emanating off of her!"
"Jack, I swear, if you say one more thing...!" She left it at that, letting Jack imagine his own painful demise.

Jack laughed a bit himself, then said the Monkey Staff's name out loud, deactivating it's effect before stuffing it back into his back coat pocket. He then abruptly tripped over... Well, it was hard to say what exactly he tripped over. It could have been air. What was certain was that he landed on his face, and made a soft "flump" noise
At this, Kimiko burst out laughing herself.
"...Did you do that on purpose, Spicer? ..."
