"It's not really imprinting either really...those Fenrir pups aren't mine and they have an affinity to me as well. They get that from their mother...little things used to be scared to death of me really." Ah nostalgia. Though then she stopped her typing and got up, gesturing James to the chair in front of the computer.

"You can get them dirty now...and I'm using a saint bernard, mastiff, great dane cross as my base species. I was trying to go for that size aspect to have a higher probability." A point to the screen. "Now here's how you do this."

"This mini screen over here is your execution map, it will tell you how much of what and so forth should be done, based on computer simulation. Of course you also have to judge for yourself even with the projections." Point to the other main screen with the strain on it. "Each part of strain is labeled with a number code," point to other screen, "and this is our secondary one, which we pull from, also in code." A nod them. "Simple enough, you type in the code followed by a corresponding common of actions to either cut, move, fuse, duplicate, which ever, and then confirm it all out." A blank look at him. "Got that?"

Jelena crossed her arms and scoffed. "Cheater." That was followed up by a chuckle. Well if he was going to play in the sandbox with the other kids, it was mean to flaunt his new dump truck in front of them and not let them play to.

Honestly though...he was accomplishing things in a record amount of time really...but she usually took this slow and double checked...and she was starting to freak out a little...structures were easy to become unstable after all and if that happened.....boom, had to start all over.

But her scientific brain kept telling her to quite her nail biting over it and let it go. James brain could process faster than hers and he wasn't working at the computer, but rather with it.

A raised eyebrow at that and a look through her half burned out OODDS at him. "Well isn't that kind of you...boy feels like I'm really invading personal space here...but hey, it was your idea." Good thing she was keeping a plug in ability on her OODDS even though she was making them wireless as well, never knew when you needed to plug in somewhere...like now for example.

Pulling the cord from her pocket she plugged it into her OODDS and disconnected the cord from the information storage that went with them and plugged that end into...James...wow that was a little odd in perspective. But she activated her OODDS with a tap of a little barely visible button the side...only one screen flicking to life...oh yeah she was going to have to fix that soon. "Sure, let's try this out."

Yeah this was an odd perhaps awkward sight...good thing they were alone. She did blink in surprised manner though as her second screen's circuitry was indeed repaired and side glanced James. "Oh...could of warned me first..." Because when things blatantly surged on like that then there was always the possibility of getting zapped.

But she watched what he was doing with fascinated silence. There was no doubt that he was good with this and the work aspect of her could see the potential of coveting him from Metamorphosis...then again didn't she have a personal policy about dating people within her own work? Yeah, that thing.

"Impressively good." Looking at the information displayed on her OODDS that was scrolling by to see the entire view she was quiet a moment when he asked her something else. And he eyes turned to the main screen for the better view, pushing her OODDS up to rest on top of her head.

A brief look over the 'map' of how things needed to go, looking over each step, identifying it in the structure and taking second glances to make sure things were identical. Of course the whole ordeal was to get the actual strand to look like the one that was of high probability. "Looks right."

And thus she went over to a cabinet and PAID it open, it's contents were highly varied, ranging from little flat contained no wider than a piece of paper which held DNA, all labeled and there were of course millions of them. Though a quite type in the computer made a light glow in a particular place, pointing out what she wanted. And thus she retried the next component of the would be Cerberus; cross breed dog egg.

That was put under the microscope and she keyed some thing in the keyboard to bring up the new imagine in wonderful 3D detail next to the strand. "Now, it's all a matter of transferring one to the other. And you should get your Cerberus started."

"Simply instruct the nanos to do jsut that...inject the DNA into the cell' nucleus, apply a little heat to jumpstart a cell reaction and reanimation and boom, we have new life." A click on the keyboard a few times to bring up a further command list from the little one that had been provided for James.

"This is you list of commands." another screen brought up, "and this is your procedure to keep you on track. You do instruct the nanos in the same way by assigning the coded strain to the coded correct part in the cell, which is the nucleus. So number command to number command." Wow...how long had it been since she memorized that all? "Give it a shot."

Yes she was going to give him a shot at it, despite any worry she might have.

She watched him, perhaps as intraped in the subject as he was...then again she had never been a bystander before to her own work. But he took his time in this step, going over things with a fine tooth comb. LAst step granted a little burst of thermal heat to the cell, and as she said earlier jumpstarting the thing with newly injected DNA, thus bringing it out of its suspended animation, thusly cell division."

Jelena gave a chuckle at the screen. "And there you have it James. An Echo."
