Black.Zucchini. I just feel inspired by you. But I dun know what I should be inspired for. You're just soo cool. -worships- >_> Yah. I think you get the point maybeh? Well, that is so sweet of you! smile I promise I'm not doing anything really inspiring, though. That is, I doubt it would inspire very many people. I find it inspiring, but I know I'm weird to enjoy cleaning things and making them sparkle, and creating order out of chaos. I don't know when this happened, either. One day I was thinking my grandmother was crazy for thinking anyone could be fulfilled by a life of housework, and now suddenly here I am, really delighting in a stack of neatly folded laundry and a shiny, lemon-scented kitchen. When did I get domesticated???

@Divash: I totally agree with you. I'm incredibly lazy so I don't clean as often as I should, but one summer I was working a job as a chambermaid and I learned to LOVE vaccuuming and sweeping. I love clean floors.

Age, maybe. I don't know what my age should be called. Somewhere between adult and middle-aged, if adult is supposed to start around 20 and middle-aged is supposed to start around 45 or 50.
Maybe it's that I'm in an apartment I kind of like, with an SO I love and cats I love, and I somehow developed nesting instincts in the desire to improve my surroundings.
Whatever it is, my mother noticed it when she visited. She said I'd gone from cleaning just because I'm a freak who can't stand dirt, to cleaning because I enjoy the process itself. I don't know how she knew, but she's right. I do enjoy the process.

Perhaps it's that growing up experience that you get when you go to an place of living that you truly feel at home at?
And you want to be proud of it and show it off?

heart I get strange moods when I just have to clean. My mom loves it when I get these moods because I end up cleaning the whole house for her.
