Looking at him she smiled softly. "You're right." Her eyes closed as she chuckled slightly. "It was amusing watching him run around like a chicken with it's head cut off after he went ablaze." Zion opened her eyes again and watched Damion curiously. Up until now she hadn't given any of her teammates much thought except two of the girls. She was kind of glad to have this oppurtunity to have a semi-decent conversation with this boy.

Damion folded his arms and leaned up against the wall. "Yah... At least a few of us still have our heads together aye? Between Valrie, Lance, and Toad I dont know how we are supposed to get anywhere." He yawned; it was pretty late afterall. "Just you watch, any moment now we are going to get the speach that killed Elvis." He nodded towards the advancing group. Perosnally, he was ready to see something interesting happen among the groups. He was a bit worries that neither of their leaders were present but he was not the kind to cry over Lance being absant. Mystique, he found, was not so bad if you blanked out everything she said and pretended you were in a better place and Valerie would wander off if you ignored her for long enough. Toad was okay for a dork and Pietro was okay for a maniac. He had not given to much thought to liz or Narcisa or the others. From what he could tell thus far Zion was one of the few members of the brotherhood girls that he could stay around for more than a few seconds without getting annoyed. But he took the members of the brotherhood, good qualities and bad, as his responsibility on some lame self absorbed level. Even the absance of Lance, who as far as Damion was concerned had no good qualities, was a bit worrying when Mystique was missing as well.

The redhead couldn't help but laugh. "That is to true, love. If Toad wasn't such a submissive thing he'd actually do good." She said with a small shrug. "Valerie is a bit off but her powers come in handy, as long as they aren't against me I'll be happy having her as a teammate." She smirked slightly. Yawning she stretched her arms above her head for a moment and awaited the 'lecture that killed Elvis' to proceed. "Wonder what they're gonna yap about."

Victoria spun around in her chair as another person, this one female cared to question her abilities as a pilot. Looking around, she saw it was coming from the tall, chameleon skinned girl. She found it funny that despite her being a Brotherhood member, the opposition, her voice was filled more with worry then spite or anger.
"License? What Licence?" said Victoria, smiling innocently and pouring on as many scar tactics as she could think of. After all, the Brotherhood had done enough damage to her and her friends, scaring the crap out of them prior to take off was just her own sick way of getting even. Victoria was about to sputter more nonsense when Mystique made an appearance.
She stood with a demanding presence in the middle of the cabin and looked around at the teen occupants before speaking.
"Well," she demanded, looking at who she assumed was the pilot, "let's get moving already. There's no need to linger around this hell-hole any longer."
The look of contempt having suddenly shot from her face, Victoria turned around in her seat and prepared for launch. She was fumbling with her seat buckle when she noticed that the blue-lady was hovering directly behind her, watching every single move she made. It was nerve racking to be stared at like that, but Victoria simply took a quick breath and tried as best she could to ignore her.
Shooting a quick look of reassurance at Kurt, she nodded and pressed a small blue button on her left side. The hatch closed. "Buckle up everyone," mumbled Victoria through gritted teeth. She was suddenly very nervous about what she was doing. Flicking a switch on her right, there was an awkward jolt as the engines fired up. Taking hold of the wheel she said a silent prayer as Kurt, using his prehensile tail, pushed the thrusters forward.
The Hanger quickly shrank away into nothing as the X-Jet shot like a bullet down the enclosed runway. Holding the wheel in a death grip, she chanced letting go just long enough to hit the blue button that opened the runway's solid steel doors. They opened just as the X-Jet reached the end of the runway and before they knew it, the X-Jet was airborne.

Kevin held on to his seatbelt as the jet started to take off. He hoped Victoria was a good pilot. Then the next thing he knew, they were all in the air. Kevin had never been in a plane before and so far it was good experience. Then he said aloud "I hope everything else goes as smooth as that take off."

The take-off went smoother then Aaron suspected. "I hope so to man." He said to Kevin who was sitting next to him. Folding his arms infront of his chest he leaned back in his seat slightly and watched the clouds fly by through the window. So this is what it looks like from a plane. He thought to himself.

Upon hearing those words Lizz's skin went pale. "Are you serious?!" She exclaimed. "You don't have a licence to fly this thing?! Are you completly insane?!" Oh good sweet god she was going to die. She was about to say something to that effect when Mystique walked in and prodded Victoria to move the show along. She walked back into the rear and sat down and buckled herself in...tightly. "We're so going to die." She said to herself and gripped her seat as they sped off.

Conner had kept his eye closed from take-off, flying wasn't a problem for him; the inexperienced pilot at the controls on the other hand, was. Once the ride smoothed out and he felt the jet climb he opened his eyes and looked around the cockpit, the guy in the seat across from him looked like he was about to throw up, Victoria looked like she was struggling and the blue skinned woman didn't seem to be making it any easier.
"How far is this asteroid?" he asked and looked out the window, already the ground looked a hell of a long way off but he was confident if anything went wrong his powers would slow him down enough to survive the drop. "And how long until we get there?" he added.

"How far is this asteroid? And how long until we get there?"Victoria furrowed her brow as Conner asked aloud the same questions that were floating through her mind. Being the pilot she would have hoped to know this already, but the only person who seemed to have all the information was hovering silently being her.
"You heard 'em," said Victoria stiffly. It was quite clear who she was addressing, "start givin' me directions before I change my mind and head back home."
Victoria shivered as Mystique moved closer, blank eyes not leaving her for an instant. The woman smirked before crouching down just to the right of Victoria's chair. Leaning a little bit closer, so that no one could possibly hear besides the two of them, she whispered directions to Asteroid M.================================== Not too long after, the Earth was but a dot in the distance, and Asteroid M hovered in the near distance. Continuing with her steady course, Victoria couldn't help but tense up. There was something genuinely evil about this Asteroid M business, and it increased in the pit of her stomach as they drew closer. The X-Jet seemed to move in slow motion, as if the jet itself was prolonging the enivetable.
"Wait! Why are we slowing down?"
Victoria and Kurt both looked at each other, confusion and worry covered their faces. Neither of them were responsible for the loss of the X-jet's speed, which only lead them to wonder who, if anyone was. And, as if the sudden change in speed wasn't bad enough, the X-jet was now aligning it's self with a landing deck on Asteroid M's surface. Feeling that they had lost control minutes ago, both Kurt and Victoria let go of the wheel and clutched their seat-belts as the X-Jet prepared to land it's self.
Eyes closed, Victoria waited for the crash...only for it to never come. By some bizarre miracle, the jet had landed it's self with ease. "Welcome to Asteroid M," said Mystique, not the least bit shaken by recent events. Taking matters into her own hands, she pressed the blue button on the control panel and the hatch opened up. Smirking, she exited the plane and took the first steps on Asteroid M. ((We're here!!))

"Why do I have a feeling this is going to turn out bad." Aaron muttered as he unbuckled himself from the seat and exited the aircraft. Looking over at Mystique he watched her carefully for a moment but her expression didn't change at all. She knows whats going on and only has told us less then a fraction of it. The long trip had allowed his wings some rest so he tested them out and hovered a few feet above the ground without any pain. He stayed in the artificial air.

Conner ducked under Aaron's Wings and looked around the cold hanger, he didn't like it, it was too clinincal for his liking.
"Well we're here Mystique." he said to the erstwhile leader. "What are we supposed to do now? Sit around and twiddle our thumbs or find the arsehole who kidnapped the other's?"

Oh thank god they were here. Lizz thought as she unbuckled herself and made her way to the exit. "We go and find our friends and blow this super duper high-tech popsicle stand." She said in responce to Conner's question. She kept taking deep breaths to settle her nerves and her skin soon resumed the healthy green color it had been. "Okay, now what? Do we move as a group, split up? What's the plan here?" She could sneak out and scout around a bit but she waited ot hear what the actual plan was before throwing her two cents into the ring.

As Kevin looked at the Earth, he thought he never saw something so beautiful before. Then he saw Asteroid M. The jet finally landed, so Kevin unbuckled himself and stood outside the jet with Aaron, Conner, And Lizz. He heard what the three of them said and wondered what was Mystique's plan. He decdied now was the best time to remind everyone of his condition, "What ever we do, I just want everyone to know that I can't create any of my Ben's yet. And I don't want to create another one of those beserker ones that almost killed Toad. But has it been 24 hours yet since we went out yesterday Aaron and Victoria."

{Sorry it took so long to post... School's been a real b***h lately.}
"Well, it's god to see that my chosen have finally found each other," Magneto said, greeting the gathered winners.
"I suppose that most of you are still wondering why you're here. Rather than explain, I'll simply show you. Follow along, all of you," he said, turning on his heel, and motioning for them to follow. At this point, most of the winners would feel a slight tugging, as any metal objects they happened to be wearing (belt buckles, etc) were gently pulled in Magneto's general direction.
He lead them through several corridors, until finally they stepped into a large chamber, with a massive metal door set into the wall. "This is what I have to show you," he said, standing to the side of the portal.
"It's a big door. So what?" Morgan quipped, still in a bit of a bad mood.
"Hush, my friend. Just watch."
With a wave of his hand, the bolts holding the door shut pulled away, and the door rolled to the side to reveal a cylindrical room lined with dark red crystals.
"The Gems of Cyttorak..." Magneto said, smiling under his helmet.
