       Meanwhile...A now not so foxy-eared Hiyori was kneeling down at the very spot Sephiroth had been taken out. In her hand was a small black pouch she had opened, and had anyone actually been watching they would see small vials, and other small items inside like cotton swabs, tweezers and other such items. Yes, she was certainly a strange one. Taking a small vial and syringe without a needle to it, she used that to gather the blood on the floor and set into the vial before sealing it up, and placing it into a small clear bag. She also was lucky enough to find a strand of long silvery hair, which she also placed in another bag, it didn't hurt to have a little extra back-up. Finally, she stood back up, putting away her kit and starting on her way to leave. It was time to return to her labs and work on yet another experiment that would probably fail her too. So far, everything she did was a failure. Her device didn't get Sephiroth's sword, then her own serum to cure the silly neko-side from her didn't work completely ether as she learned today. Hiyori didn't take this kind of thing well, failure...

 ___ ___ __ ___ ___ "Trust me, I don't pick fights I can't win." "Well. Was she wrong?" Surely not. Even if she wasn't completely joining in, she wasn't trying to stop it or get away from him. So she must not have minded terribly, Ephraim supposed. "...Oh?" Couldn't handle a girl like her? Something about that phrase just sparked his interest far more. Maybe because it sounded like a challenge, and Ephraim never turned down a challenge. "I've handled dead coming from the ground, monsters with magical abilities, and demons the likes of which this world has never seen. Most challenges seem beneath me at this point, and yet I find myself curious..." There were few who could challenge his combat prowess, but attempting to court a woman was not something he had never attempted before. He was direct, and confident in himself, which many women found charming, but he had never actually tried to pursue a romantic relationship before. Perhaps that was about to change.
"...Cross-dressing?" What was that? He could swear he had heard it somewhere on this weird planet... "...Ah, was that where a man dresses as a woman?" Or the other way around, he supposed. "Haha... No. I don't think I would make for a very attractive woman." Most attractive women he knew didn't have much in the way of muscles. "Though perhaps I could pretend to be Eirika." He laughed a bit at that. That was such a weird thought. They WERE twins though. He had once told Eirika she could pass as a man if she tried hard enough, since she was so... skinny. He glanced at Severa. "...So are you." That would probably confuse her, though if she knew what he was thinking of, she would likely become quite agitated. "My sense of humor is rivaled only by the number of your denials." He said calmly, though he was still teasing her obviously.
Then, as he held his arm out to her, and she asked the question of the year, he didn't miss a beat with his response. "Well, I suppose we could carry the horse instead, but that seems a bit impractical." He was so funny wasn't he. "Just get on the horse, woman." He said as she seemed to be trying to find a good enough excuse. "I won't tell anyone." Finally, she agreed and got on the horse behind him. She seemed to be extremely awkward about it... he decided he should help. "You smell so nice." Yep, he said the most awkward thing he could think of to make it harder on her. "Where will we go, Midgar or Marvel? Or did you have another place in mind?" He asked, deciding it best to get that figured out first. After she answered, he would nod. "Let's go!" He said, the horse starting in a gallop towards the exit of the Garden."..." Soren listened to her words as she seemed to be trying to justify her actions. "Don't dwell on it. Accept your actions and move on." Easier said than done, but of course, he didn't understand as much since he didn't have as much a problem with killing. He saw it as a necessity, and showed little remorse for the ones he had to take the life of. "If you let it get in your head, it will consume and destroy you." Which is probably exactly what Sephiroth wanted. It was possible that's exactly what he had been planning. "Nothing I do is "cute."" Soren insisted, sounding slightly irritated. "..." He sighed. "I don't care if you forget it or not. Obviously. You're an idiot. Just come here." He said, obviously wanting her to feel better despite his discomfort with intimacy. It was odd, especially to him, to even care that much about anyone besides Ike.Meanwhile, Hana would feel teeth around the back of her collar, and soon feel herself lifted off the ground, as Cuddles picked her up. The two would slowly begin to sink into the ground into darkness, similar to how Yugi had done a few moments before...  (( OOC: ))

   Darn him. He really had to ask that question, didn't he? Of course he did! He seemed to be enjoying her misery! ".........I-It doesn't matter! D-don't ask stupid questions!" Well, that was at least one way to handle avoiding answering the question. Though it only made her more guilty in a way,if she didn't want to answer it, it was probably best to assume she would really say Morgan wasn't wrong. Had Ephraim knew her well enough, he may even figure it out in the short time they've known each other! Severa wasn't very hard to figure out. "Hmm..Just how curious are you, then? " His curiosity got her curious, go figure!
"You think so? There's only one way to find out.." She grinned, seeming to be rather stuck on the little torture idea. Getting Ephraim in a dress might not be an easy task, but boy would it be funny. Even more so if Cloud was there to see, maybe his confidence as a man would return, to see another tough man be forced into such an idea! "Eirika? Who's that? " For a second there,it was as though she were more curious about that then she should probably have been. It was a little to early to be on the jealousy stage! "What? ...Hey! What was that supposed to mean?! " Yeah, he had her confused quite well. "I am what??"
"Oh, aren't you funny...! You know what I mean! " She said to his little horse joke, shooting a small glare his way in embarrassment, though soon enough, she had put away her silly pride enough to get herself up on the horse."....." Why did she feel he was really trying to get under her skin, even now? Maybe he liked to make her blush, because he was doing a good job at it. "...Don't say weird things! " Turning her head to the side a bit, she paused a moment to think. "Midgar is closer, but not friendly to us, right? Hm.. As skilled as we are, I don't understand why everyone is hiding. We could take anyone who tries to mess with us, or take down the leader that's causing this mess, don't you think? " Not that she wanted to go around killing citizens, but she didn't really want to ignore the fact that the people of this world were being so hated and in danger if they did go back. Wasn't sitting around doing nothing about it far worse? Surly this president couldn't be so hard to take out.
"I don't know that I can accept it just like that. It's just..It's messed up. You don't know Sephiroth like the lot of us. He was once a good man, but after discovering what he truly was, he lost his mind..I suppose would be the right word. He had to have a hard life growing up, he was all just one big science project..I don't know how I would handle my life if that same thing happened to me..so in a way, I understand his hate....But I don't agree to his countless killings. Of course not.." She said to Soren as they walked. "He was defeated, only to come back..There were many changes, he 'tried' to be good, or maybe that too was a lie. Then returned to his blood thirsty ways..People forgave him for his wrongs, the one he killed in the past, Aerith, who is here now, also forgave him. With all this forgiveness, he turns right back to this stupid, idiotic blood crazy side of him! It just doesn't make any sense. And then now, I find myself regretting what I did..Killing him the way I did....Was that really the right way? It made me no better then him..." She did kind of kill him in a pretty horrible way, too..Trying to sever his head wasn't exactly humane.. "The words he said as he was dying, and his expression...I can still see it..It was so lifeless. As though he didn't even care! Like...he didn't feel he had a place in this world..I don't know..It seemed so empty, so much that it was the saddest thing I ever seen.." Tina sat down at a bench seat in the quad area, glancing at him and waiting for him to sit down with her. Once he did, instead of hugging him like he might of expected her to do, she slipped her arms around his own as she leaned against him. It was in a way, a hug. Just a lot more comfortable. Yes, she could stay like this with him forever. As she held him and rested her head against his shoulder, Tina closed her eyes, speaking softer now. "You're cute to me...Soren."

Isabel was already rushing to her daughter to at least try and comfort her, she hadn't really moved from the spot she was sitting at on the floor, seemingly in shock and distraught. Well, that was at least until a familiar creepy beastie appeared out of no where, and while Isabel knew it belonged to Yugi, seeing it pick Hana up and sink into evil tainted darkness, well, that kind of sat off a panic for any mother, especially a holy angel."Hana! Wait!!? Don't take----! " And her words came to a stop, she was gone in the darkness before Isabel could reach her. "...?!" Sitting there on her knee's, Isabel stared down at the ground from where she tried to grab onto her, but failed. Could the day get ANY worse then this?!

  "...Have I come at a bad time?' A voice came from above the ones left in the ballroom as a winged figure slowly descended, landing gently on the ground. He looked inquisitively to all the people around. 'You are Avalanche? I have heard much about you.""Who are you?" Zack asked cautiously, ready to battle if need be."My master has granted me the title of "Alpha," so you may call me that if you wish," he didn't remember his name from when he was a human. "I am one of the four heralds of The Beast, and the leader of the four if we had such a thing." He saw Zack reach for his sword, which caused him to hold up an arm reassuringly. "Be at ease. I am not here to fight this day. I come only to convey a message, if you will listen.""..." Zack let go of the Buster Sword, but still remained cautious. "...We're listening.""I thought it only fair to forewarn you: my master has found a host and is bonding to him as we speak.""What?!" So they had even less time than he thought... "Who? What will happen to the host?""..." Alpha thought about it for a moment. "His soul will be completely destroyed to allow the Beast complete control of his body and mind. As for the man's identity, I cannot say... I can only say he is extremely powerful and his mind is expansive. Even compared to most of the ones in your ranks I have seen, he is exceptional. He will allow the Beast almost complete control over his potential power. I apologize, but you have no hope of defeating the Beast. It is better you accept your fate.""That won't happen." Zack said, his eyes narrowing."That's right," Cloud agreed, stepping forward. "Most of us have faced certain death more times than you could count. We won't lose. There's too much I have to protect.""I must admit I am taken aback by your... determination. I only wish there was some purpose to it." They would not survive the Beast's arrival."You and the other "heralds," will we have to fight you as well?""I cannot know what my master is planning. I will certainly be there to witness the world's destruction, though I doubt the Beast will require aid.""Then help us.""I beg your pardon?""We need all the help we can get for this battle. We're not perfect, but we'd be happy to have you as an ally and a friend, along with the other three. With your help, there's no way we could lose--the Beast would be history, and you would be accepted by all of us.""..." Alpha stared at the Ex-SOLDIER for a few moments. This was certainly not what he expected. He came to deliver the message to their destruction, and this man outstretches his arm in friendship? How odd. After a long moment, he couldn't help but chuckle. "Tempting. If anything, I wish you luck to overcome the Beast--but I cannot lend my assistance, nor can the other heralds. The Beast holds our souls, and gives our body power in return. But we cannot claim our souls--it intercepted them on their way to the Lifestream. If we disobey, it could destroy our very existence. Not kill us--erase us. Make it so our essence cannot rejoin the planet, and we would be wholly and utterly gone. It is an atrocity, but it is the power granted to it by the Cetra.""So..." Zack paused, thinking about everything he said. "...Is there any way we could return your souls to you?""What?" Alpha shook his head. "I think you misunderstand. Though I am extremely powerful in my current state, if I were to reclaim my soul, I would lose that power. I would be a human again, and be useless to you against the Beast.""I figured that," Zack said, crossing his arms."Then what is the purpose of your question?""I want you to be free. I don't want you to have to fear being erased completely. That sounds horrible...""....." Alpha began to laugh. "Truly, you humans are full of surprises. Thank you for the thought, but it is impossible. Even if the Beast were to be destroyed, our souls would likely fade away anyway. There is a slim chance they may rejoin the Lifestream, but I cannot say for sure. We are bound to the Beast now, it is unlikely we would not share its fate." He paused for a moment. "But I thank you again. What a strange kindness..." He slowly began to float back up. "I wish I could free my sister from this fate. I didn't want this for her..." The main reason he continued to follow the Beast's orders was to protect his sister, and ensure she stayed okay. "But I suppose I didn't want this for me either..." He laughed again, though this time the laugh hinted of sorrow and desperation. "What a cruel fate this world has... my sister's life in exchange for the rest of the life on this planet..." But there was no defeating the Beast, even if he wished to help them. He knew that; the only one who could possibly defeat the creature was the god that resided in this world, and he could not involve himself in the conflict. "Goodbye, Avalanche. I wish you luck in the battle to come. ...You will not survive." Turning now, he took off through the air, out of the Garden and away from the area.(( OoC: ))

  Alyiana Mercer   "Alphieee! " A young voice Alpha may of remembered, stepped forward, waving her hand that held a lollipop in it in the air as she tried to wave at him. It was only moments before he left she was able to get those few words out. When he lifted up though, she was pretty quick to realize he was leaving, giving her time to summon Solcyi, the celestial horse of her mothers that seemed to sparkle like the night sky, and slip out herself by the balcony he too left from. Aliyana decided to follow him as long as she could before he got to far off to the point she might lose sight of him. "Waaait! Aplhie! " If he stopped, she would have Solcyi fly close to him, close enough that they could hold out something for him to take. It was a wrapped candy cane, with a poinsettia flower decorated over it, fake, but still very real looking and quite pretty despite that.
"Merry Chrisymus..! " The little girl smiled as she held it out to him.

 A Dark portal tore through the plane. A familiar aura could be felt as he walked out the portal causing it to close. He had gotten used to the plane he had just come from. But He was sure that he had arrived at the garden. Spacial Travel was difficult once you lost your way from the plane your attempting to go back to. some popping sounds could be heard from Akito stretching behind a crying Isabel. "Why is it that everytime i'm around you that you cry in some way?" Akito's voice had changed a tiny bit but only in that it got a little bit deeper. folding his arms he continued to get used to being back home(ish). He listened to the guy who then flew off. it didn't really matter to him since he was sure he was long since fired from his job and therefore the safety of the planet wasn't of his concern. Akito walked forward and turned heel to face her. Looking down at her he noticed she wasn't even crying. "well, i guess you weren't Crying after all. How long was i away?" He could only looked shocked at how she had changed. He didn't even think to wonder what was going on here.

Isabel's shock of previous moments would settle down, even though she was still kneeling on the ground, she just didn't see a point to getting up so fast, with her mind spinning with questions and worry to all that happened these last few moments, she just wanted to stay here a while longer. Anyone behind her was bound to think she was crying, as it did kind of look that way!
That was when a new form of shock and surprise hit her when a certain voice broke her thoughts.Turning her head a little to the voice, Isabel's icy blue eyes widened. Akito? It had been..several years since she last saw him. It seemed he had vanished without a trace or word to anyone! "Akito?! " Isabel slowly got to her feet, the serenitian Angel looking at him as if she hardly believed her own eyes. "..." Instead of answering his question, or even comment on his confusing her for crying, she jumped into Izzy-mode, that was to say, her happier, cheerful self as she grabbed him into a friendly hug. Yes, her mood was quickly changed by the sight of her old dear friend. "Where have you been?! You left...without a word to anyone! You've been gone....for several years, Akito.." She said as she let him go. "Are you alright? What happened?? I missed you!!"

Akito's eyes widened as he was hugged. His black wings summoned on his back. Akito remembered the events leading to his vanishing. Serge had to finish his fight but he didn't want him to do it alone so he took everyone with him. He stammered as he was given a barrage of questions. the wings would fold behind him as he straightened his jacket after the hug. "I had to fight for my Honor as Soldier first class. So i traveled with my brothers and helped Serge defeat a few baddies." He didn't want to bore her with the details and then to bring up he has seen a god of chaos that travels through time and space would be a headache. "several years huh. I wonder if i still have my job." Akito giggled at the thought of all the cash Shinra must owe him in pay. He would go check his bank account as soon as he was free. His voice got back to a more serious tone. "So catch me up to speed. Seems i have alot to catch up on."

"You could have said something! I thought something serious happened to you all. What with all the bad scientist's out there, I didn't know what to think. " She paused a moment. "And the others? How are they? "
"Um...No, I'm almost certain you don't. Rufus isn't even the president of ShinRa anymore, now we have an even greater problem, the new president managed to scare the citizens of Midgar to believe Avalanche, and anyone from other worlds, are their enemy. Because of that, we aren't very safe there. If you walk in that city as you are, even you could be attacked. " Isabel sighed softly, her news wasn't anything good. "..Besides Adachi being another evil president, our biggest threat is something called the Beast. A new threat to the planet that...as it is being said, will destroy all life on this planet..Everyone is saying it is impossible to beat, and there are rumors that it may be powerful enough to stop all our magics and abilities. If that's the case...defeating it is going to be ....." She stopped there, Isabel wanted to be positive about this, she wanted to believe they would defeat it. But how? Without their abilities and magic, some of which made most of them so capable of fighting, how would they defeat it? "I want to believe that we can defeat it.."

"There was some complications while we was in their world. She died in the fight against the Time Devourer. Mad Scientists, i can handle now. Gods just piss me off." Akito stepped to the side and leaned against a wall as his wings vanished. "My brothers are all fine. Serge and his..." Akito kinda snickered a bit. "..Girl stayed behind to clean up things back there." Listening to the rest of her news he groaned loudly. "So its business as usual. Gather me fighters please, i'll give them a great plan. We can take care of both The Beast and Adachi at the same time. That means we fight as Humans against it. There are plenty of us who can fight without abilities and Magic." He would probably need the help of mad scientist now which was ironic, since "They" were the bane of their exist up til now. He would need to take ShinRa Headquarters first before they could even start working on a feasible weapon not made of Magic or was based on abilities. And Like that the wheels have started turning in his head.

"Hmm? Someone died?? " Isabel looked at him with slight worry and confusion. "I think i'm a little lost..Who was it? I'm sorry you lost someone.." Although she wasn't sure what he was talking about as to who this lady was, she still cared. "..I see, Will they be safe there? "
"I'm afraid it's a little more complicated then that, we all gathered here to be together, but at the same time, were here to discuss a plain for the beasts defeat. Zack's in charge, and may know a little more then I do if you want to talk to him? There isn't very much information on the creature, all we know now is it found a host..and I'm guessing it's coming closer to it's full awakening until it makes it's presence known to everyone.." Isabel gestured toward Zack, who seemed to be standing there quietly since things had settled back down.

"My Wife died and the children didn't make it.Though She should be making a revival of her own by now. I won't know who she is and she probably won't have any memory of her previous life or what she is now." Akito pushed away from the wall to stand back up on his full weight instead of the lean he was doing. "Serge and Kid will be fine. I think a wedding procession is in the works. i'll let you know more about it."Akito glanced over at Zack and the rest of them assembled. Zack and Cloud should be fine to fight as they were well versed in physical techniques and less spell based. "My brother should be here soon. I'll let him explain more if you want it." Two portals opened, one black and the other white. He left through the black portal which closed after him. the White portal flared slightly as it shaped to Xaiyou's physical body.
