Azriel hid a smirk behind her hand. "Oscuro figured as mu---oops...." She realized her blunder and began to look a little nervous. Would Aayrin know of the Curse of the Fractured Soul? If he were millennia old, would he have, perhchance, observed previous curse-bearers?
Both Chiaro and Oscuro facepalmed.

he reached into his coat and took out a rather thick book.
This book contains the knowledge you want.
he handed the book to Grimm.
I have no use for it now. ^_^

He gave Azriel a knowing smile, but only fleetingly, and then turned back to Grimm.

Sheena growled, shrugging the arm off her shoulders. "Wh-what did you say!?" She said, swinging at Vance with extreme precision and speed. She was very skilled at slapping people around after all. "Im not with that pervert!" She already knew about Oscuro, having seen the creature first hand already.

Azriel's otherselves noticed that smile.
"All right, what was that supposed to mean? ...Are we in trouble now?"
"Let us not jump to conclusions. Perhaps he is simply acknowledging our presence."
"But it's important for us to know if he knows of the curse. For all we know, he could be plotting to destroy us."
"Wouldn't he have tried something already?"
"In front of everyone else? I thought you, of all people, would have kept such possibilities in mind..."

Azriel was completely silent at this point, listening intently to their argument, trying to gather from their words how she should behave.

Aayrin noticed the artifact and had a feeling he knew exactly of the curse she was under, so he decided to keep her under careful observation. "Yikes, Sheena, you're pretty scary!"

Vance took the blow and his head swung to the side for a moment. He then turned it back to look at Sheena.
That was pretty good. ^_^ Of course I'm kind of immune to that at this point. I've been beaten up quite a few times during the 1000 years I've been around. And if you reacted that violently, it only means you're hiding something...

They noticed Aayrin eye the collar briefly.
Oscuro was about to make a remark, but Chiaro cut her off. "AS I was saying...if he ever does try something on Azriel...don't the others have her back, at least? And the elder of Heimdall hasn't marked Azriel as a threat either, remember?"
"...Hrmph." Chiaro had her there. But, there was still the off chance some of the others still had doubts about Azriel, and she kept that in mind.
Azriel relaxed, keeping in mind what Chiaro said, in time to hear Cinkel's question. After a sigh, she whispered back, "They suspect Aayrin may be familiar with my curse and might try something against me."
