"I still plan to go to Minas Tirith if I can get there." Elrothiel said, her smile coming slightly easier this time. After the initial pain at the applied pressure had passed, the athelas was starting to ease the pain in her shoulder until it was just about bearable, and her breathing had become easier. "The walls should be safe enough for a while so that I can begin to heal. There is nowhere in Rohan I can stay long enough to recover the power to heal myself. As it is, with the spells in that sword, it might be beyond my ability anyway."

"Aye, better there for the moment than wandering aimlessly about in the wild. Speaking of which, we should get moving, perhaps we can find some sort of dwelling before night falls. These areas aren't exactly the...safest, to be in at night." As if to emphasize his comment, Eroswyn cocked his head upwards to gaze to the sky. The sun still loomed overhead, but when one was traveling, it faded behind the horizon quicker than he may have liked. He began to turn, staring at his horse which was once again munching away on the undergrowth, before turning back to the elf. "Can Sol still be mounted, or does he need to follow?"

"Well, I think that'll be enough for Amaroq here. If I know my family legends correctly, he can sort all the scents of everyone who's touched something and find the scent that he wants." As Hrorik talked he motioned for Amaroq to come and sniff the paper. "Is this lady we're finding an elf or human?"

Elrothiel frowned for a second as she probed the wound gently. The pain was just about bearable. "I think I can mount." She said hesitantly, reaching out to Sol again, patting his neck as she looped her hands into the reins as she mounted slowly, grimacing with the pain. It was a struggle and she was deeply grateful that Sol wasn't skittish, but she managed it. She buried her face in his mane for several moments, waiting until she stopped feeling nauseous before sitting up straight in the saddle. Her face was very pale as she added softly, "I can mount."

"Alright, but if the pain begins to feel worse than it already is, we stop and rest for the night. Wouldn't do for us to be delayed or even stopped because our lovely Elrothiel over-exerted herself." Eroswyn gave a light smile at the end of his sentence, turning around to grip the horn of his saddle, pulling himself up onto Lunarexion with little effort. Once he became comfortably seated, he glanced over to the woman, before softly nudging his horse to break it into a light walk. "We'll go at this pace for a while until the athelas fully takes hold."

Elrothiel nodded, not in the mood to respond to the flattery. She prepared to ride for as long as possible, determined to get to the city within the next few days. Unless Eroswyn called a stop, the only way she would be getting out of Sol's saddle was if she fell out. She drew Sol alongside Lunarexion, keeping silent as she focused on staying upright in the saddle.

"Elrothiel, huh?" She paused, searching though her memories. "I think I know her some how..." As momories flooded her mind, Her face was like, shut up I'm thinking. Deeper and deeper she searched, unabled to find. Then remembering her child hood, A small scene appeared.
Young Nonnah was sitting by a tree on a hot summer day. School just let out, and elven childeren would leave happily to return home, but some kids would gather around her, throwing sticks and stones at the different Nonnah. A group of older girls walked out of school, And one of them spotted Nonnah and the kids and laughed. Out of the five girls, one stayed behind, as the other four ran to join the fun. The one girl ran to Nonnahs defence, causeing the group of rock-throwers to throw some at her, then disapear. Smiling, she turned to the girl, who was now bruise covered. "Hey," she said softly. "I'm Elrothiel."
Then, out of the blue, she said, "And then I moved, otherwise we would have been good friends..." Nonnah sighed, since she was the only one who knew the story as it played back in her mind, and she replyed as if she was telling a story.

"You seek an Elf," Ranu said with a soft sigh. He kept shivering with anger. He smirked at the image, "Elves bullied you?"

"I'm not sure if we should go back to the road I saw a while back, and stick with the direct route, or attempt to save some time and cross through these lands. Both ways are dangerous..foul creatures here, Sauron's servants on the road. Which way would be best.." Eroswyn half spoke to the elf, half murmured to himself, continuing to walk along at a steady pace through the undergrowth beneath his steed, occasionally stopping to ponder turning back but faltering, simply remaining silent with occasional murmurs as he walked along.

"I'd rather not turn back." Elrothiel said quietly. "Speed is more important currently and at least off the road we have a chance to avoid whatever is coming." She sighed. "I've lost so much time already..." She screwed up her eyes again as another jolt of pain hit her, fisting her knuckles in Sol's mane until it passed and she could relax.

"Then it is decided. Is your pain easing yet? It should only be a short while longer until the numbing sensations of the plant begin to take hold." Eroswyn clicked his teeth lightly, Lunarexion knowing this signal to be the command to pick up the pace, his form now trotting along; not at a walking pace like before, but still one Elrothiel could easily keep up with. "Even though I may not know the way, it should only be a matter of days before we reach the White City." As he spoke, something disturbed him, his gaze flickering from side to side as if attempting to pinpoint some unseen danger. Perhaps it was simply paranoia, but something just didn't seem to...click.

Amaroq begin sniffing the map sorting through the many scents that were on the piece of paper. He sniffed and sorted through scents until one of them that was elven sparked his memory. His mind flashbacked to the battlefield where he had been sniffing and had scented a female elf that, ironically, had gone the same direction they had been going and immediately howled, and picked up the somewhat fresh trail. "By the Blood-Ax Dardin himself, I think he has the trail!" Hrorik said with awe and his in voice.

"A little." Elrothiel answered. "But I was hoping it would have more effect than this." She sighed. "It doesn't matter. As long as I can ride it's doing its job." She increased the speed slightly to keep pace with him, watching his expression. "What's wrong?" She asked, cursing her injury once again. She felt next to useless - her usually sharp senses were swimming and she had no idea what he was focusing on.

Ranu looked blankly at the wolf before the howl, instead of jumping when it had, he turned his head towards the forest and whistled loudly. He stared off into the distance and was relieved to see Sailas* emerge from the trees. He tossed his black head and whinnied, sprinting towards Ranu. [*AA, if you tell him about this, I'll tell your family EVERYTHING!]

"I'm not sure. Feels like...we're being watched, with every step we make.." His lips curved downwards into a vague frown, cursing under his breath that if his hunch was right, then he had made bad time. "Some men were following me a long ways back, but as soon as I split off in a different direction, I lost them. But yet I still have that same uneasiness..." Eroswyn continued to dart his gaze about, looking over every possible source of cover that one could have hoped to wait in ambush from, though as they headed deeper into the boundaries of these lands, trees becoming more and more dense, his focus could not fall upon every single possible inch of ground.
(Stalling a bit to see if Amaroq and the others can catch up with us, though a bit of combat may be required in the meantime. r_r)
