[[G'afternoon my peeps.]] [[Page 80! WOO!]]
Luna looked up at an aqua coloured dragon. [[Sound good?]] His skin reflected off a dim lavender colour whenever she looked closely. Then she noticed how difficult it must be for him to carry her. She looked down as she slightly pushed away Ialo's right arm so Luna could lift her legs in the sideways position. With her legs being supported by his right hand and her back with his left, Luna wrapped her hands around Ialo's neck and pushed her side against his chest. "Is this better?" she asked him softly. She suddenly felt eyes watching them, and it made her nervous. She couldn't look down because of two things. One, she was afraid of heights and if she were to look down at the altitude they were at now, she'd most likely have a panic attack. And two, even if she wanted to look back, Ialo's biceps were blocking her view. Very nice biceps too.. Luna shook her head. What was it with these thoughts?

"Corruption..." it whispered. They could all hear it, as though some unseen lips had whispered it in their very ears. Every last one of them that felt that horrible presence could hear it.

Ialo felt Luna shift her position. However, he was more concerned about a sudden wave of anxiety that washed over them, as well as a thought that popped into his mind. Corruption? What does that have to do with anything? He figured Luna might be nervous about heights, especially if she's never flown. He tried to lower the altitude, but decided that speed would be better. After all, the school seemed to be the source of everyone's anxiety, so it would be best to get away as soon as possible. "Hold tight," he said to Luna. "We're speeding up." His voice came out more like slurred thunder though. As a dragon, it was difficult to speak English. He waited for her to readjust herself, then pumped his wings.
(( twisted )) ((Flying takes serious muscle. Glad to know Luna appreciates the results of running for one's life.))

Luna had a word thrown into her mind and she twitched. She definitely didn't expect that. She shook her head softly to push away the nervousness. She looked up at Ialo and nodded after he spoke. She didn't understand his second sentence, but she understood the first. Her hands around him tightened as she shut her eyes tightly.
[[Is nervousness a word? o.O]]

((Nervousness, is in fact, a word. Spell check is never wrong!))
Ialo pumped his wings harder, and was rewarded with an exponential increase in speed. Once he felt they were far away enough from the school, he slowed down and began to glide. He nudged Luna, attempting to make her understand that he wanted her to climb and ride on his back.
((I just spent 15 minutes researching the aerodynamics of bats and birds.)) ((Flying is more complicated than it looks, apparently.))

Luna opened her eyes slightly after Ialo nudged her and she nodded, understanding. She felt him pushing her above his shoulders as she climbed on him. The wind blew against her even more without anything to block it, and she felt the ribbon she had put on her hair this morning fall away into the breeze. She barely noticed, though, and let her hands grip Ialo's shoulders. She let herself lower down enough so that her entire body was against his back.
[[Lol. Okay, that made me laugh.]]

((Now what do we do? Ialo said stuff about an arcade, but this is so romantic.)) ((I guess it boils down to innuendo/sarcasm/clever quip/totally random question/all of the above.)) ((Please circle one.))

[[It varies between my mom getting on to me switching to another website as I wait for your response, then me forgetting, and me going to another rp to answer or all of the above. Sorry. x.x]] [[How about in the middle of flying, Ialo becomes tired and they just end up in a random field because he was so preoccupied with not letting Luna fall and they watch the sunset? I don't know, your choice. HE'S taking HER on the date. Gosh. xD]]

((Gosh, fine.)) Once Ialo felt that Luna was properly situated on his back, He asked her a question. Well, tried to. A dragon's throat isn't exactly suitable for human speech. So, he tried a different method.
"Hey, Luna."
((Oh em gee, he's messing with yo mind!))

Luna's eyes closed themselves after she got used to the breeze and hearing Ialo's heartbeat. Her eyes suddenly opened themselves when she heard another statement in her mind. Except it wasn't sending chills down her spine, it was a soft statement. And she just knew it was from Ialo. She began to stroke his neck. "Yes, Ialo?" she asked, softly.
[[xD Wow Neo.]]

((What? What'd I do?))
If it weren't for the lovely crisp autumn breeze, Ialo would have melted in a puddle right there. He struggled to keep his mental voice from sounding dorky. A girl finally liked him, and he was going to impress her, danggit!
"Sunset? I mean, do you like sunsets? Er, watching sunsets? Cause we're facing west and all..."

[[xD Nothing.]]
Luna smiled as she heard Ialo's voice in her head. It was soothing, even when he couldn't find the right words. She actually took note of what he was saying and pushed herself up from her lying down position and stared ahead. He was right; they were facing west and the sun was just about to set. She smiled and loved how the wind felt blowing through her hair. Only then was when she realized that her ribbon was missing, but at this point it wasn't like it mattered much. She laid against Ialo's back again, smiling. "Yes, I do." she said softly, returning her hand against his neck. "Let's get back down to the ground to watch?" she asked.

At this point, Ialo was glad Luna couldn't see his face, he was smiling like a little kid on Christmas morning. Up ahead, he could sense the atmospheric differences that came with a large body of water. It was - well, he wasn't sure what it was. Names was never his strong point. But, the water extended to the horizon, and there were small cliffs to sit, and perfect for a take-off, too. It wouldn't be becoming of them to be out all night with each other. He kinda liked the idea, though. "How's this?"

Luna rolled on his body childishly to look below. She suddenly felt dizzy. We're so high.. she thought as she shut her eyes. One hand flew to the back of her head to press it down against Ialo. She felt sick. Her free hand slid around his neck and moved upward, looking for his cheek. When she found it, she said, "Yes.. Let's just get down.." barely audible. Her stomach was doing flips, and this time she didn't like it at all.
[[He made her look down! How dare you! D:]]

((Eep! Oh no! I'm a bad person! *sobs*))
Ialo was having a mental breakdown. In an instant, it changed to a different kind of breakdown when he heard the feeble tone of her voice.
"Hey, Don't go out on me! Are you okay?" His thoughts generally became incoherent after that, as he was preoccupied with multitasking.
He made a wide circle, pulled in his wings, and tried to make the landing as soft as possible.
((I'm trying to fix it! Does that count?))
