~Izaya Kyota the Dark~
Yin of Bone

Izaya lifted a hand to brush off some of the sake mist that had landed on his face and arms before saying, "I seriously do not know what you are talking about. Me? Dying to some undead? That could not get more ridiculous than what I am hearing now. We allowed ourselves to be taken into death to obtain a stronger power than what we had. Thought I probably should have stayed an Akasun, this would work out just as well." Izaya let himself drop back to all fours of his chair legs before standing and stretched a bit and shrugged at her while walking away a bit towards the door. "And I do not remember a damn thing about me loving or being loved by anyone named 707... And what kind of name is that for a human anyways? What was she? A freakin' experiment gone wrong," said Izaya with a smile that kind of said that he thought the person was hopeless.

Izaya seemed to 'float' around the room as he walked over to the waitress and slipped her some money to pay for his meal while giving off his always charming smile. After the girl accepted the money, Izaya drifted back to Mashira and leaned onto a chair before saying, "What an interesting room that you have got in your mind... Or as it looks like it is yours. But again, I did not even know you had a sister... Yang does not even know as it seems. Are you just joking with me to catch me off guard?"

Mashira could only stare at him in pure shock, being unsure if this was some kind of game he was playing or something. “ Of course shes a lab experiment. Who the hell would take that name willingly?” She asked a she leaned back in her own chair a bit. Least to say this was not a conversation she was fallowing. Part of her was wondering if he was pulling her chain, laughing on the inside or something. If this was real though then she knew for a fact this was not going to end well. She wasn't sure how it would play out however she was sure that a poor village was going to go down a population once her older sister heard about it. ' Dear god she might even try to get Joker on it,' She thought as her faced paled as the thought of her sisters new little friend. The girl didn't even seem to notice that Izaya was 'flouting' around the room, nor that he was was paying the waitress for his meal. When she did look back she did notice that he was now leaning on the chair that he was once sitting on.

“ My room? ” She asked while glancing back at him. “ That was her room not mine. Mine was beautiful and happy and cheerful. ”She said while crossing her arms over her chest. It was true. The girls own room in her old mind was filled with stuff animals that had knifes in them and held other odd, yet cheerful things in appearance. The child then paused as she heard him ask his question. “ I'm wondering the same thing. ” She said before taking another sip of her sake. None of this was making any sense to her at the moment. ' Where all going to die.' She thought eying him.

“ None of this can be right, ” She said while bring up her right hand, face palming her self. “ Did you get in to some kind of accident or maybe your clone,... ” She thought while leaning away for a few seconds. She always knew the clone wars would come soon by why did it have to start this way. She really didn't want to be placed a tank and watch as another version of herself took her place. The thought alone made the girl feel as if a head ache was coming along. “ Now that I think about it Bone did say something when he died last time.. Maybe he truly can't remember anything but then how do you guys remember me? So weird. ” She said to herself before she started to place money down on the table.

"Well, who ever this girl is, you just have to introduce me to her. If she is any bit of dark as you or more dark as you say, I would gladly get to know both of you... Inside and out," said Izaya as he pushed himself off the chair and twirled a bit towards the door, feeling his carefree attitude take over. His jacket flapped about as he slipped it on, feeling the touch of fur brush against his skin like a wild mountain lion would give him a hug... After he pulled its eyes out of its sockets and replaced its brain with its own intestines. He leaned himself against the wall, crossing his arms over his chest as he tilted his head towards Mashira''s direction with a devilish smile like he knew something that she should not think he knew.

"Maybe I did know this girl you are talking about, maybe she was just a little... Fling, is it called? Right, maybe she was just a little fling that Yang found himself to be way over his head for. All I care about is to see the true essence of humanity and the very embodiment of death itself whether it is through me or that fantastical sounding horror you keep trying to get me to remember," said Izaya before pushing off the wall and playfully strutting out of the building and into the rain outside. He stopped in the middle of the street before laying his head back and closing his eyes, feeling the drops of rain fall against his face and body, soaking his clothing. It has indeed been way too long since he has been in the material world and he never wants to leave.

Mashira could only eye him for a second before taking her last sip of the sake. When she was done drinking and eating the child ended up jumping from the stool, and placed her red hood over her head. She truly did appear as the young girl from the Grim stories know as Little Red, especially with the red hood over her blond hair. It was a weird image however one that seemed to work with her. ' Got everything?' She thought to her self as she glanced back, making sure all her weapons where strapped down correctly. Everything seemed to be in perfect shape which did make her grin a bit. Before the girl walked out she heard the sound of Izaya's voice, causing her to glanced back over to him. He was now leaning against the wall, having a cursed devil smile on his face. When she listened to him speak the young child seemed to narrow her eyes a bit.

“ Oh please, ” She said while watching him push himself from the wall, then exit the building. The child stayed a few feet behind him however dared not to go out in the rain again. She stopped in the front of the bar and grill, staying under the over hand that saved her from the horrid water that fell from the sky. She watched as the male stopped in the middle of the street, letting the rain soak his clothing. He seemed at peace for a few seconds, as if that was all he needed in the world. “ All of you bad a** types say the same thing. But it's all just tough talk. Destroy the world or want it all to end but face it. You'd all miss it. After all you've got billions of people walking around like Happy Meals with legs. It's all right here. But then someone comes along with a vision. With a real... passion for destruction and all of you ban together to stop them.” She said while crossing her arms. “ Why? Because you guys know just as much as I do that you would miss it. ” She said with a simple nod of her head.

Izaya lowered his arms as he listened to her rant on how he was one of the people in the world who wanted to kill everything in sight but then go around saving life around them. He stifled a chuckle, then started to giggle, growing into a chuckle, and finally into a full blown laughter fest where he almost keeled over to his knees. "You-you-you thought I wanted the entire world dead," laughed Izaya in a questioning tone as he curled over in laughter before staggering to the nearest wall to prop himself against, trying to fight down the laughter that was swelling up and around his throat. Obviously this girl never really heard of the true meaning of suffering.

As soon as he calmed himself to the point where he could at least talk to some extent. "You-You~ hahaha! You got me all wrong there! Haha! I do not want the world destroyed! I love humans! I love everything about them even up to the point where they croak! Haha! If humans were to- If humans were to die out, I would have nothing to watch and I would get bored really fast," said Izaya almost out of breath. He was still laughing incredibly hard, trying to fight the urge to rip the nearest person's spinal cord to see if that would stop his laughing.

Mashira's face seemed to fall as she watched him start literally busting out laughing. When she started to hear him the girls face turned in to a embarrassed shade of red however her eyes however her eyes showed that she was growing more pissed off by the second. She clenched her fist tight, drying blood from the palms of her hand due to her sharp nails. This went by unnoticed to her as her body was shaking with rage. She wasn't had at him, but more embarrassed over the fact that she went on such a awesome rant and she was wrong. It was thrown at her face as if she just got slapped. ' Damn it, She thought while letting her bangs cover her eyes, now glaring at the ground. “Stop laughing!” She suddenly yelled in a childish voice. She may have been old in years however her body and mental state was still in it's early development form. The girl knew how to handle most situations like an adult as she was one deep down however her form was at an annoying age where everything was upsetting to them. It took over her logic thinking with ease. “I get it already just shut your mouth!” She said while glaring towards the older male. At the moment all she wanted to do was transform in to her true form and attack him. ' That would make him stop laugh,' She thought as the side of her mouth opened, showing off her canine teeth.

It was a strange sight to see a kage having a temper tantrum however here it was, scene by the public of Hidden Rain. A few people where even stopping to stare , whispering. This caused the young girl to swipe her head to the side and scream “What the ******** do you think your looking at, huh punks?!” She asked, watching them move away from the girl. Her right hand was even inching closer to her axe that was hosted on the side of her hip, still glaring at the crowd. She wasn't sure who she was more embarrassed about now. Half of her wanted to take her axe and slice up the people while the other half wanted them to just stop. It was annoying her senses. The girls left hand unclenched, then reached in to her pocket to take out her wolfs bane drink. It was the one thing that caused werewolfs to remain calm minded when they snapped. She needed this at the moment, and even as her shaky hands forced the lid open the girl welcomed the drink with enthusiasm. It was a weird taste however it was the only thing stopping her from mass murder.

Izaya managed to stifle the laugh down to a inside giggle as he heard her tantrum start to appear. But to think this little girl, Amekage? Didn't he leave Hidden Sand to her once before? Maybe she changed alliance to the Village Hidden in the Rain when she became a werewolf. Who knows. Izaya quickly walked over to her as she took a drink from a mysterious bottle that he managed to find out was Wolf's Bane. A nasty drink as it turned out, watching the expression on her face he could also sense the feel of enthusiasm from her as she guzzled the drink down with relative ease. "Alright, alright, I will stop. It just struck me as funny that you had not noticed why I would go out of my way to save the very people I wanted to make suffer," said Izaya as he placed a hand on her shoulder with a calm smile. At the same time, he forced a little bit of an emotional influencing power of the Kami clan into her to try to change her mood to that he could deal with while he was in a weakened state.

After he did, however, he quickly took the hand from her shoulder and then stood by her side under the awning, looking up at the gloomy sky, wondering if there has been a time when this place actually had a week of no rain... Maybe not. "So what is with you now a days? Amekage and drinking something to keep you from going on a happy killing spree? I mean really, what did I miss since the last time I saw you," said Izaya as his face dropped from a smile to a distraught look, one of absolute worry of another person. This was probably something that Mashira would never have thought to see on Izaya's face. "What is it that obtaining this wondrous power caused me to miss out on?"

When she was done drinking the girl seemed to be a nit more relaxed, almost in a drug like state. There was two uses for wolfs bane in her peoples community. One was to to force the humanity to back in to the user while the other was to weaken the state of the body. It always depended on what the user wanted from it and how much was given to the said person. At the moment she only used enough to calm her rage and inner instincts down. The child seemed to pause as she felt a hand on her shoulder, listening to what he had to say. As she listened the girl started to screw the cap back to her flask and placed in back inside her cloak pocket. Even with the forced emotion of feeling happy the girl was still flustered over the fact she guessed wrong. ' Guess I don't know people anymore,' She thought while glancing at the ground.

When he took his hand off her shoulder she didn't seem to care or mind and even when he moved his body to the left side of her she didn't even blink. For some reason her head was calm right now, and even felt a bit up lifted in spirits. “ You missed three years and a war. ” She said, answering his question as vague as she could. Truth be told she was a bit angry at him, as the power be gained just meant one thing to her: He wasn't there. The look in his eyes where something new though, worry of some kind. she wished she saw those eyes during the war. “ This isn't the world you knew and love anymore. No one fights anymore unless it's for the exams and even those pointless. It's not about strength anymore but politics, deception and oddly enough technology. Half of the villages are ghost towns and the rest of them have dead bodies everywhere. During the nation war the kages joined new villages and oddly enough no one fought. Hidden Leaf is screwed though thanks to a man from Reaver's group who spoke out in the meeting. In that one moment all the villages seemed to come together but look at us now! Where still going to that s**t of place and nothing was done.” She explained with a small sigh.

“ And everyone is gone. I thought that everyone I knew was dead in this world as the world is filled with new faces. New legends are being born from children who don't know any of the past.” The girl then seemed to stare head at the rain before a small smile appeared don her face. It was genuine for once. “ But your back now and the world seems a bit less annoying. You should use your new power to cause some fun in this world. ”

"And so the sky was clear of turmoil, the storm had passed and those left to tell the tale embraced the bright future ahead of them. Something like that," said Izaya with a solemn face. He thought a bit on the words she spoke to him, wondering what she meant by everyone in the world that she knew was dead... what of this 707 or Drago? Of course Reaver's little gang is still out there somewhere wondering the outskirts of the material realm. He lifted a hand to his chin and rubbed it a bit, wondering what in the world he could do to cause that much chaos in the state he is in now. He hardly remember even ninety percent of what he knew in his past life so he could not do much now... Could he?

He took a step forwards, just standing at the edge of the awning before turning back towards Mashira with a toothy smile. "Well, it will be a while before I will be able to do all the mayhem and destruction that I used to do but we shall see what will happen once I learn all the techniques that I want to learn again... Oh, this means I will have to go back to the afterlife if someone down here does not already know all there is to know up there in cloud city," said Izaya grinning from ear to ear. He stretched a bit before stepping out into the rain and then held out a hand towards her in an offering. "In the mean time, I think today is a perfect day to go on a picnic in the Village Hidden within the Night."

“ That's the thing though, there was no storm that passed. They suppressed it,” She said while watching the rain. “War is not suppose to be hidden nor denied. something worst will come from this, I just know it. You can smell it. ” She said while lifting her head up a bit. The child may have appeared young and naive however she was apart of nature. She knew the breath of everything. Something was off about it though. The world was far too different now and she did not enjoy this feeling at all. ' Someone will come,' She thought while watching the older male talk a few steps forward, now standing on the edge of the awning. With a confused expression the girl watched as he turned back towards her with a smile. When hearing him speak she couldn't help but to grin a bit. “ You make it sound so easy, ” She said with a sarcastic tone, knowing full well how annoying it was to relearn the techniques. It would take him so long to get back to the power state that he was in the old days.

Mashira seemed to stare at his hand, watching a few rain drops drop him it. She didn't really care for the rain, or being in it, as she tended to have the curse of smelling like a wet dog. This was the annoying curse of being in her clan sadly. Then again she shouldn't have complained too much as there was far worst cases in her village. at least she didn't feel weak in the sun like the vampires of her village or was invisible to all. ' At least I'm not in my true form,' She thought while taking a few steps forward before taking his hand. “ Hidden Night sounds grand.” She said with a simple nod of her head.

So there was no war? Was it just merely a cold war where no lives were at stake? Just a small pretense of an unfathomable fight to blossom between hundreds of shinobi from a multitude of nations that were not happy with one another? Either way, the flow of Yin and Yang within the world is showing to be off balance. There was way too much Yang in the world, as people started to choose it for peace and balance. Now that the scales are tipped towards the Yang, the Yin was starting to build up, preparing to tip the scales back to the equilibrium point. If it gets too strong, the Yin may be strong enough to completely wipe out all of humanity. That was something that he did not want to see happen ever...

As she took his hand, she snapped him out of his thought process but it hardly showed on his face as he kept the ever careless smile upon his face. As she did, the rain seemed to lighten up a bit to a sprinkle as he moved to slip her arm into the crook of his, not really caring if she would let him or not before leading her out of Hidden Rain and towards the docks.

The Rain never stops in Amegakure..

Ame had noticed as soon as they got into Amegakure country. The rain was starting to pour. It always rained in Amegakure. The Murasama clan had told Ame once that he was named after the village because like the other nations who brought rain and pain to their village, he would grow up to pay them back. He, at that age, couldn't understand exactly why such things were a problem, and how the five great nations could use Amegakure in such a way as he had been learning in his schooling, but it soon dawned on him, and he found out the truth for himself. Ame had never held a grudge in his life, but this single piece of information was left rotting in his chest ever since he had found it. Every single Great Shinobi War was held within Amegakure's borders, because they were caught between three of the five great nations. That, in itself, was unfair. Amegakure had just as much right to do their own thing as anyone else in the world of the Shinobi. And, because of those other nations, Ame had to grow up under harsh conditions. All of the children of Amegakure had to grow up like this. In the constant rain, with nothing to console themselves. It was absolutely ridiculous to let such things happen. Where did the Great Nations get off on letting that happen?

Ame hadn't realized that the pained thoughts were making him clench his fists together. From his position, a few feet in front of Lin, she would have been able to see his movements easily. That wouldn't do. He didn't want to bring her in on such rabble. She was too nice of a girl. In fact, Ame could hardly believe she wanted to be a Shinobi. She had to understand that the job would pit her against other people. Would she have the heart to kill someone with her own hands? Ame wondered if he should bring up the topic, but decided against it. Lin would find out for herself about the dreaded world of the Shinobi, and Ame would help save her in any possible way, if it were possible that was. Mentally shaking himself from the stupor, he pulled up the collar of his jacket, noting that the hood of his cloak was getting in the way. If it weren't raining, then they wouldn't have to wear such clothing, but that wasn't his choice, since he refused to get wet. The cloth that was attached to his headband was heavy enough as is, and making it wet would only add to the weight he would have to carry. Ame momentarily contemplated taking it off of his eyes, but again decided against his perpetual thoughts, feeling that it would make it too easy on him, and Ame always had to excel at what he did. A small, almost inaudible, sigh escaped his lips. What did they hope to find in Amegakure? There was no formal Kage to answer too, and on top of that, there was no real structure to their ninja hierarchy. So, that meant they would just have to report to the first Jounin they would find. The thought was daunting.

Amegakure was a big place, that was pretty well industrialized, and Ame felt that he would have to search forever just to find a Jounin. It would be the longest game of 'Where's Waldo (Just omit Waldo and input Jounin) that he would have ever been a part of. The thought was a much needed distraction from his previous thoughts. The more he thought of Amegakure, the more he despaired being a part of that certain village. He wondered, again, if Lin felt the same way he did? Did she see the rain as a nuisance as well? A sign of the perpetual interpretation of pain and sorrow that Amegakure always had? Ame used to look up to the character named Pain, the used to be leader of Amegakure until Naruto had destroyed him. He felt as if Pain's ideals were almost dead on, if not a little to extremist. In any case, he felt as if Pain's idea to bring peace to the world was a noble idea, and he would aspire for the same dream, if he knew how. The thought sprang upon Ame as if he were an unguarded rabbit. How could he bring peace to the world if he wanted too? The thought was tantalizing at best.

He could have another Five Kage Summit and lay down the rules. But that would mean they would all have to agree. He could do something like Madara Uchiha had decided to do? That wouldn't be true peace though. Pain had a good idea to use the Bijuu weapon. But, the ends would not justify the means. All in all. The ideas were getting farther and farther away from Ame as he thought of them. There was little he could do to stop the growing animosity between villages, and the powers that they possessed. Ame sighed once more and looked back at Lin. He could hear here, and by lifting his headband a little, he could see her. The rain was pelting her, which caused Ame to frown. She needed more protection. Ame stopped suddenly and dug in his pack, pulling out a composite umbrella. Unfolding it, he handed it to Lin and smiled, turning back to stare at the land before him. He wanted to bring peace to the world, and there was little way to do it, short of destroying the major powers and breaking everything up into little city states. That. In itself, was a far fetched idea. "It's always raining here, Lin. I hate the rain. I've never liked it. It's like Amegakure's crying out for help, and no one can hear her...I want to stop it." he mused slightly. His deep blue eyes stared at the sky scraper city in the distance, his frown deepening.

Yes. He was telling her the truth. He wanted it to stop, so bad that it hurt, and with that in mind, he couldn't help but to want to have Lin help him. She was a talented Shinobi, even if Ame didn't think her heart could handle it. She could be useful to the purpose. He sighed silently. Then again, he didn't want to involve her in anything that was dangerous. Lin was too good of a friend for Ame to just 'use' and if she were to be put in danger and get hurt, he would feel horrible. He wouldn't be able to forgive himself. So, Ame slowly started to walk again, heading for the village. He would find a way, but that was in the future. He couldn't do much as a Genin right now anyway. That being said, he would just have to apply for the Chuunin exams as fast as possible. He would have to get strong so he could become better.

Lin walked beside Ame, like she did since they left the academy. She looked ahead and knew exactly where she was. She could smell, see, and hear her clue to where she was. The rain. It was always raining in Amegakure, she too could have been blind folded and knew she was home. Many might think you would get used to the rain if it rained every day since you were a baby. But those people were wrong. The visit to the academy was beautiful. It was the first time she was away from her home town, and the first time she was able to see the sun. See the blue sky that reminded her of Ame's eyes. It was less gloomy there, and easy to feel up beat. She was back home though. Dark gray skies and the constant sound of the offbeat rain battering the ground with the droplets that fell from the sky. It was somewhat depressing. She wished it wasn't like this every day. Even one day of sunshine a week would help the village out so much. It would be like a ray of hope for the village.

Lin didn't want to come back to her village so soon. But there were two things she had to do before she left. One was an easy task that would take no longer than an hour. She needed to say good bye to her parents, and speak with them before she officially left them. They didn't think the day would come that she would be a ninja. But despite their doubt, they will still be proud of their daughter for achieving the rank of genin. At least she hoped they would, since she was so proud of herself. She wasn't sure when the day would finally come, but it has. Her parents were nice, well nice enough. They definitely loved her, but they were very protective, and extremely controlling. She uis still a bit surprised that they allowed her to leave the restaurant to attend the ninja academy. Maybe they finally realized she was growing up, and could handle herself. Lin looked over at Ame, who now had his hood up. The rain was coming down hard, and the hood he wore helped to protect him from it. Not that he or her could be dry, that was almost impossible in Amegakure unless you were in side of a building.

She let out a small sigh as they got closer to the villages outerlimits. She was thinking back to her previous thought. A ray of sunshine. Maybe that is what Ame and Lin could become for the village. Two young aspiring shinobi's. Her eyes wandered over to peer at Ame once more. He was so full of potential. He was strong, smart, and talented. He was even charismatic. He could easily become a leader one day. Leader, that was such a far distant goal. She wanted to become a leader one day. She wanted to make a difference in other's lives. But as she stared at Ame she felt something strange. How could she ever be a leader? She wasn't as talented as Ame. Being a leader meant many things. Putting others before yourself, being able to keep the peace. And at times knowing when to fight. She was sure she could handle those aspects. But if she wasn't the strongest, how could she defend her village? That would be an almost impossible task. But Ame, she felt it now he could do something. Something great. She let out a soft sigh. It was too early to be thinking like that. Who knows what the future would hold. She had to try and stay positive, work hard, and have faith.

Her train of thought caused her to miss Ame pulling his headband up from his eyes. Also, he stopped walking falling behind for a moment. Once she noticed her head snapped up looking directly ahead, before turning her head to see what was the matter, and why he stopped walking. When she turned she was greeted by him, holding his hand out with an umbrella in it. She smiled so happily as she reached out and took the umbrella. It was a very thoughtful gesture. She pulled the umbrella close, and spun it in her hand. As she did the water droplets that accumulated on the top whipped off of it, flying everyway. She wasn’t thinking as she did, and some of the water splashed at Ame hitting him on his cheek. She couldn’t help but laugh at what happened. She grinned mischievously at him after the fact. The grin faded though, once he brought up the rain, and Amegakure. She felt his emotion while he spoke. Maybe he could stop the rain one day. Out of everyone she knows, if someone could it would be Ame. She took a step closer to him, standing right beside him before having the umbrella now cover the both of them. She nodded her head in agreement to his statement. ”Maybe one day you can Ame. Wouldn’t that be something? No more rain in Amegakure?” It was funny that they were both thinking the same thing. Both being from Amegakure it makes sense they would think like that. The people of the village hated the rain, at least most of them did. She turned her head to the left so she could look at his face. ”We will just have to be Amegakure’s future. Work together to change this village that is my goal, to make this place great. Who knows maybe one day you will be calling me Kage.” She said in a playful, friendly tone. Maybe one day….

After walking through the entrance of the village, she stopped and faced Ame. ”Ame I need to make a couple of stops before we head out on our adventure. I need to stop in and see my parents, and the other stop is somewhat unknown. My uncle told me once I became a genin, to meet him at an old abandoned building. He had a secret to tell me. You are welcome to join me during this. I know it doesn’t sound fun, but hey maybe I can grab you some food from the restaurant. It’s up to you though.” She wouldn’t mind either way. Though, if he did come along she would enjoy his company, she was sure her parents would like the fact that she would be traveling with Ame too. But he may have stops of his own he would have to make before he left Amegakure. There was no telling on when they would come back to their village once they left. She stood in the middle of the street, looking up at him waiting for his response. She held the umbrella up to cover the both of them, the sound of the rain bouncing off the umbrella muffling all the outside noise around them.

Ame had flinched a little bit at Lin hitting him with spare water droplets, but it didn't bother him much. He was more devastated at the fast change in her mood. She had begun to laugh at hitting him with water, but then lost it all as Ame had uttered his comment. Was this the power he could possess? Truth of peoples emotions? He refused to believe such nonsense and listened carefully to what Lin had to say. She was right of course, and like always. Ame's mouth parted with a comment, but he bit his lip instead, forming it into a smile, his eyes becoming brighter. That wasn't exactly the answer he was expecting. But he thought it was better than any alternative. Lin was truly something else. She had a way with words that Ame felt he didn't possess. It had been like that for the past couple of years he had known her. In fact, he couldn't remember a time she couldn't make him smile. He wondered what exactly went through her mind as they spoke to each other. That in itself wasn't exactly a tempting thought, for he couldn't imagine the number of thoughts that passed through her mind in a day. He figured that he was probably the same way.

They continued walking, and Ame listened to the rain his his hood, in his mind, thinking of the possibilities for him to become stronger. He was caught in the undertones when he suddenly hit jack pot. His strength was a major factor in completing such a plan. But it would work if only he could get a group together. A group of strong willed ninja to act out on what ever they decided was right. What he would call this organization was still up for a decision, but he knew its purpose, and would definitely make it into a powerful force one day. Ame's mind rolled with possibilities and organization of such a group. Such thoughts put a smile onto his face. He felt like he could see the end in sight. Yes. Lin's early comment would come true. She would become Kage. He would make sure of that. The people of Amegakure need a strong leader, especially in these dark times. He knew that when Lin turned into a Jounin, and how soon that would be, she would only become stronger after that, and then Amegakure would have to elect her as the Kage. Her kindness would help rally all of those who were still reeling from Hanzo's rule. She would become a beacon like Pain had. He knew she would.

His mind stopped working as soon as they hit the inner gates of the Amegakure. He hadn't realized they were this far into the city until now, and that wasn't normal for Ame. His smile broadened and he looked at Lin with a keen eye. He had to report back to his clan to let them know what he had accomplished, even if it was insignificant. They were....organized like that. In any case, he had to stop and let them know he had become a genin. Even though he knew what their response would be. He could almost hear his clan leader, hidden behind the door he always was, tell him how useless the rank was and that he could only fulfill his destiny by becoming a Kage or Jounin. How disappointed they would be when he would become something other than a Kage. He figured they would understand after he had brought permanent peace to Amegakure. They had to. There was no other way for someone to be able to do that. And if Ame didn't succeed, than that meant thousands of innocent lives would be lost in another pointless war later on down the road. The truth of the matter was specifically daunting to him, but he put on a brave face regardless.

Ame, headband over his eyes once again, grinned at Lin, and rubbed the back of his head. His other hand was positioned on his hips. He didn't want to disappoint her, but he couldn't go with her to her parents shop. He could, though, go to her uncles meeting. That's how he would make it up to her. He would go to the meeting. Ame's mind traversed over a made up conversation in his mind then his grin became larger. "I apologize, Lin. I cannot go to your parent's shop. I have to report in to... er.. someone first. But, tell your parents I said hi. And that I kept you in line. I hope they will enjoy that. Don't be disappointed though. I'll meet you at your uncles meeting point. I'll come find you, okay?" he said. With that, he turned and waved back to her while running off. He had almost told her of his clan. He wondered if she already knew, though. It wouldn't have surprised him if she did. It wasn't like it was a big secret. Just, most people looked down on Ame since he was the son of such horrible parents. Ame only knew of them when he turned ten. The truth devastated him more than he could ever know. Maybe that was why he was so bent on bringing peace to the world. In any case. Most people knew he was from the Muramasa clan, and with such knowledge, would treat him with caution and respect. It was a horrible way to meet new people.

It didn't take long before Ame reached his clan's house, and with that, he took off his sandals and coat, leaving them at the door. The mansion was very elegant indeed, and he remembered trying to remember the many hallways and where they all went. Ame cleared his throat and moved down the main hallway, which branched out many different hallways along the way. Servants and Clan members were scurrying about, which Ame found odd. They never really moved around this much unless someone important was coming. One clan member, Sora Musha, stopped Ame dead in his tracks with a hand on the shoulder. This usually would end in Ame being 'punished', since Sora was a Jounin, and the strongest member of the clan. Ame flinched as he felt the hand on his shoulder and stopped dead in his tracks, fearing what would happen next. His eyes blazed forward and he dared not to turn around. He only listened. He heard Sora kneel down beside him, and take a deep breath. "Ame. Your back. And with that headband...it seems you made Genin. That is good. Our Clan leader will be pleased. He might even tell you his name. We are very proud of you Ame. Remember, when you move to retake Amegakure, and make the Great Shinobi nations pay...you will have all of the Muramasa clan behind you." and with that, Sora let go of Ame and walked off. This wasn't like him at all. In fact, it was so out of character of the usually prideful, arrogant, and sadistic Jounin that Ame thought for a moment that it wasn't Sora. It had to be though, since no one else had his voice. Ame was shaking at his knees.

Taking a deep breath, Ame moved forward again, coming to the end of the hallway. It was here that he got on both knees and moved the screen aside. He peered into the dark room, seeing only the bright white screen that hid a large figure behind it. there were other figures behind the screen, obviously women that the clan leader took pride in gathering, and probably some advisers that helped him with his wealthy and greedy intentions. Ame would have liked nothing more than to dispatch the man, for he owed him nothing. In fact, the man who sat before him deserved death over pretty much anyone in the Great Shinobi world at the moment. An inaudible sigh escaped his lips. He couldn't do anything to him. It was here that a booming voice made Ame perk up and freeze with terror. Why was he so scared. He could have easily taken out the lazy p***k at any moment, but he simply couldn't That made no sense whatsoever. Was he that weak? Was he that afraid? How? He was talking big not a few minutes ago. What changed? Was it just his voice? That was pitiful. "Ame. You have returned. And I see you have become a Genin. Good. Now you can start your long journey to freeing Amegakure. Do not forget who gave you this opportunity, for you are still Muramasa property." the Clan leader bellowed. Ame couldn't help but to stare, and then the fire in his stomach grew. He was not their property. One day, soon, he would show him that. Not now, though. "Yes, Clan Leader. I am off to get my first assignment and sign up for the Chunin exams as fast as possible." Ame responded. "You are dismissed. Come here once more when you become a Chunin." The clan leader retorted and dismissively waved a hand at Ame.

Ame bowed and slid the door back into place. He stood up and hurried down the hallway and out of the clan house. It was when he was in the rain again that he balled his fists and started to punch the nearest wall with vigor. He was angry, and he couldn't help it. The rain only made it worse. As the water ran down his face, he couldn't tell if it was his own tears of the rain drops. It was only after a good few minutes that Ame stopped and leaned against the wall, panting. He would get revenge first, then stop the world from killing each other pointlessly. With that thought, Ame pulled up his hood and departed the clan house, making his way to Lin's parent's shop. The business at his clan's house much shorter than he would have thought, so he would probably catch Lin before she left the restaurant. He needed her at that moment. Her advice was always helpful, and she cared for him as a human. He valued that over everything else. His feet hit the ground with increasing speed, and only stopped when he made it too the restaurant. There, he stood outside for a wile, panting. He couldn't bring himself to open the door yet. He had to calm down first.

Lin nodded her head. She wished that Ame could come with her, but she completely understood that he also had things to do. She gave him a reassuring smile, even though he wouldn't be able to see it since he once again covered his eyes. She wished he wouldn't do that when he was with her. She liked to look in to his eyes when they spoke. Actually, she enjoyed looking in to them just in general. She grabbed his hand and placed the umbrella he gave her in his hand. She was only a few blocks from her parents resturaunt, and she had an assumption on where Ame was going. To his clan's HQ. She had never seen the inside. She assumed it was impossible for a non clan member to enter. She has only had the pleassure of seeing the outside of the place that Ame called home. But his travel was longer, and the umbrella was his, so he might as well take it back from her. She let go of his hand once the umbrella was back in his possession, and folded her arms. "Don't worry, I completely understand Ame. I will just see you later than? You don't have to rush, if you can make to to meet up with my uncle you make it. If not we can just meet up when we are all finished with our errands. I will see you later than Ame." She said cheerfully as she turned on her heel and began to walk away from him. The direction they would have to head were two opposite ones.

Once she was around the corner, out of sight of Ame, she slipped her hands in to her jacket pockets and let out a soft sigh. She was so excited to be a genin now, but there was something bugging her. It was saying good bye to her parents. It wasn't good bye forever, but who knows the next time she would be back in Amegakure to visit them. Even if Amegakure was gloomy, and depressing. It was still her home. This was the place she grew up, the streets she would play on with her friends when she was younger. The place where she made her first friend, first enemy, had her first kiss. It was the home to all of her firsts. And now, she would be away from all of it for a long time. It was an exciting, and nerve racking thought. She had never been away from home for longer than a few days. But now her adventure would ask her to be gone for such a long time. She was more than willing to make that sacrifice to reach her goal, just the thought of being away did make her reminiscence.

She continued to head down the wet, rainy streets of her home town Amegakure. She was only a few buildings away from her parents restauraunt. She could see the sign that was illuminated, in bright orange colors. It simply read Kasama's Restaurant. Her father bought and made the place, and his creativity level was pretty low when it came to the name, and the names of all of their menu items. But that would soon be changing. Her parents bought another building downtown, where they would be moving the restaurant to. The building they will be moving their restaurant in to is a three story building. The first two floors will be for the restaurant, and the third is where her parents will be living. When she found out the news she was so excited for them. They will finally be able to have more money, and bring in more customers do to their location, and the size of the building itself. Her father and mother have big plans for the place. It'll be something worth seeing when she comes back during her travels.

As she approached the entrance of the restaurant she peered in, looking at the packed room. The room was always packed, due to its size, and her father’s delicious food. She smiled at the sight, and pushed the door open. She was greeted by some of the regular customers, and the servers that worked there. She smiled happily and waved, greeting them as well. A few of them congratulated her on achieving the rank of genin. She smiled and bowed, thanking them as they did. She made her way to the front bar area, where the entrance to the kitchen was. She took a deep breath and pushed the door open, entering the room. There were a few other cooks in the back that helped her father out. They were busy and hard at work the noise of a knife chopping food, and the sizzling of food cooking on the hot stove tops was all she could hear. The kitchen area was a great place to be if you were hungry. The smells of the mixtures of foods created quite an aroma as the flavors of the foods mixed together in the air to create such a scent. As she closed her eyes, listening to the sounds, and enjoying the smell of the food she heard her name being called. Her eyes shot open, as it was easy to recognize her own mothers voice. She scanned the room until she was able to see her. She quickly ran up to her mother, and hugged her tightly. Her mother smiled in delight, and returned the loving hug. Lin's mother grabbed Lin's hand and led her to the back where her father was.

Lin walked up to her father, who was hard at work, combining a concoction of ingredients to create a meal for a customer. She stood next to him waiting for the right opportunity to talk. She never liked interrupting him while he was busy, and he wasn’t too fond of it either. But for some reason, this time was different. As soon as he noticed his only child standing next to him waiting patiently like always, he stopped, and motioned to another cook to come and finish the meal that he had started to create. He pulled her in close, hugging her tightly.
“I see you have your headband Lin… Does this mean you are?..” Lin nodded her head as a response. A smile on her face that her parents have never seen before. Her mother and father clapped excitedly and announced it to the chefs in the kitchen. They all took a moment to acknowledge the accomplishment before quickly resuming their duties once more. Her mother and father bombarded her with numerous questions, seeming more excited that she was a genin than she was. She laughed with them and had an amazing time. They were having fun during work hours, which was a first for her, excluding holidays. She was happy that she was able to see them before she left. It was going much better than she could have ever expected. Her mother chimed in with a question, that immediately made her face turn pink, which her bow immediately matched the color. Her mother asked, “So, are you traveling with Ame? We heard the both of you were attending the academy together. Are you two?..” Lin covered her mother’s mouth with her hand and squeaked. “MOM!......We are traveling together, we are a team I guess… But that is all it is okay? Geez why do you have to embarrass me whenever we talk. It’s not a big deal..” Though when Lin said these things her mind wandered a bit, picturing something different then what she described. She shook her head trying to cause the thought to escape her head. Her father laughed as he leaned over and gave her a kiss on her forehead. He reached on to the counter and handed her a bag, that was filled with food. “Hey, this here is for Ame, It’s his favorite. Make sure you get it to him while it is hot okay? I have to go back to work, I am proud of you. Don’t be a stranger to your old mom and dad here and visit us often okay?” She smiled and nodded in agreement to her father’s terms and looked over at her mother. Her mother had her hands folded in front of her, and leaned forward to give Lin a kiss on her cheek. She smiled and said her goodbyes, being sure to remind her that she needed to meet up with her uncle before she left it was rather important. Lin nodded, there was no way she would not head to see her uncle before she left Amegakure. She waved good bye to her parents and the chefs as she exited the kitchen, and entered in to the dining area. She had Ame’s food in her right hand, and was ready to head out. That is until she saw her little friend, Tiobo. He was a young boy that always came in with his parents. He was only seven years old, but still quite the lady’s man. He was the cutest little boy, and whenever he was in the resturaunt Lin would always talk with him, and show him some of her origami art work. She smiled as she walked up to him and ruffled his hair, like she always did. She squatted down so she was down at his level and explained to him that she would be gone for a while. She told him how she was now a shinobi, and maybe one day when he was older he could join her as one. He nodded his head, excited of the thought. She grinned and took Ame’s food placing the folded part of the bag in her mouth. She put her hands together, as Tiobo’s eyes watched them carefully. He knew what she was doing. She was creating some origami shaped item. But what she was creating would be a mystery to him. She grinned, holding Ame’s food in her mouth, as she created Tiobo’s creation. She grinned already knowing what she would make for him. She slowly stepped back towards the door still creating the origami piece. Tiobo watched as she slowly back away towards the door wondering what Lin was up to. Before Tiobo could notice, Lin created an origami butterfly. It would be special for him and would always have a part of her art to keep forever. He didn’t notice as the butterfly she made of paper slowly floated down, and landed on his shoulder. She grinned as she opened the door and waved good bye to him. He was so excited as soon as he felt the paper butterfly flap it’s wings against his cheek. Tiobo smiled in delight at the gift that Lin left him.

Lin while watching Tiobo’s face, exited her parents restaurant. One last stop was left before she could exit Amegakure. She walked outside, the sound of rain hitting the ground drowning out any other noise. She turned as she exited the restaurant and accidentally ran in to Ame. The food that her parents made for him almost falling out of her mouth as she ran in to him. The food slipped from her lips, but luckily she was able to catch it before it hit the ground. She was surprised to see Ame so soon, but she was so happy to see him. He was so special to him, whether he knew it or not. The food fell out of her mouth, but before it had the chance to land on the ground, she swooped down, and grabbed it before it hit the pavement. She grinned up at Ame and held the food out towards him, offering it with a friendly grin. ”AME! I am glad you caught up to me. This is a gift from my parents, I hope you enjoy it. It is your favorite meal.” She said with a grin as she pushed the baggy of food in to his chest. She was glad Ame was here with her, so the two of them could visit her uncle in the abandoned building. She felt much more comfortable visiting her uncle with Ame along with her.
