Carina continued to rack her brain. "Remember, well, it was my second year, when the Chamber of Secrets was opened. I heard something about a Tom Riddle being the one who opened it, both times, also, I heard that it was Voldemort, maybe they are one in the same..." Carina pointed out, letting Raven and Abigail process that information.

Cherry's eyes grew wide at the sight of the blue flame. "Wow. You're really good. ANd that's so nifty about your parents. That's wonderful they have their own shop!" she exclaimed excitedly.
Then she stopped. "I have one last secret. But it isn't nearly as depressing as the whole 'father, darth vader dilemma"." she said and giggled at her own joke. She then leaned in close to Cam and whispered. "I'm an animangus."

Cam grinned sheepishly. "Nah, it's not me, it's the jar." he said, looking over when she leaned closer. He listened to what she said, nodding. "Unregistered, I take it. That's really cool." he said, putting the jar of blue flames down on the table.
"What do you transform into?" he asked casually, genuinely interested.
[No worries. And I would have posted earlier but was working on a massive project done ATM.]

And that Tom Riddle, well everyone thought he was Harry for the longest time, or rather Slytherin's heir and stuff. But if Voldemort is Tom Riddle, then maybe Cherry is related to him?" She heard something out in the common room. "Darvit! Prefect duty. One sec!" She said poking her head out of her door and directly into the common room. She saw Cherry, and a boy she'd never seen before. She just watched a moment wondering if they'd notice her. She wasn't trying to eavesdrop, just watching for anything foul.

Cherry leaned in close again and whispered, "Well it's kinda lame but a baby fox." she giggled like a school girl sharing secrets. "Its so not as ominous as it seems when I tell people Im an animangus. Its actually very silly." she said. "So cam, can you produce a patronus? I'm just wondering because I know you must be good. Since your parents seem stable and wizards and all. I mena I'm not assuming just because you're pure blood. I just mearly ask because these are such dark times you know?" she said the last part in a rush. Hoping not too offend him.

"That's not lame. It's kinda cute, and useful." Cam pointed out. He nodded at her question. "Yeah, a wolf. Looks pretty cool, actually." he said, taking out his wand.
As he did, he noticed something in the jar on the table. There was a figure standing there. He hadn't heard them come in over the sound of their voices.
He looked over the top of the couch, seeing a girl standing there. He was a little tense at the moment: he was in Slytherin's common room, and while Cherry was nice enough, not all Slytherin's were.

Cherry noticed Cam turn and blushed at his use of the word 'cute'. She noticed the girl at the top of the landing and swallowed hard. She would just die is she got him in trouble. She looked at the girl and crossed her fingers. She looked back at Cam and he looked a little nervous.

Cam stayed quiet for a moment. "Well?" he asked out loud, breaking the silence. He hoped she was on their side: he wasn't ready for a fight, especially one that would wake up a whole common room full of Slytherins rearing to take him down.
But then again, the girl hadn't attacked yet, so maybe she was on their side. "Cherry, do you know her?" he asked quietly.

"Um...well sort of." she whispered. "She was sort of nice to me. When I just got back from my grandfather's funeral." she finished. Then she realized Raven was the name she remembered belonged to the girl and she was a prefect. She swallowed hard worried and nervous.

Raven noticed the boy looked at her, and she looked at her friends in her room. "I"ll be right back." She said closing the door behind her. "Cherry, hi. It's lovely to see you again. This boy, however, is not a Slytherin. Bring him to my room." She said with a smile. "You're not in trouble, I promise. Just come see the irony." Raven said turning, and heading back to her room.

Cam got up, hesitantly. He gripped his wand, looking at Cherry.
"Might as well. By the way, if you like that jar, you can have it." he motioned to the jar he had taken out, its soft blue flames still dancing inside.
"Cover me." he added, following Raven. He had his wand low, but at the ready, going over multiple spells in the back of his mind to keep him alive should need be.

Raven chuckled. "Put your wand away. Not only will you not need it as I am friendly, but it's against the rules to duel in school." She said opening her door, and ushering him inside. "Come on Cherry" She smiled at her.
