After staring at the girl with a reddened face, Mike finally said "Th-thank you"
He let himself up, watching the girl walk off, his face still red.

Cat only awoke when the train lurched to a stop and her two pokemon started yelling at her.
"Wha? Huh? I'm up, I'm up..." she got up, swaying on her feet slightly. Torchic and Oddish both jumped into her arms as she turned and walked off the train. "So this is Kanto...?"
"Ood." Oddish nodded, looking around expectantly. "Oddish, oddish odd."
"Lavender Town...? Why is it named after a color?" Cat asked, looking around expectantly. "Not much here...Except for that huge tower thingy."
"Oddish. Odd-ooooddish, oddish oddish."
"Dead pokemon...?" she asked in awe, looking up at the large tower. "Um...wow..."

((Is it realistic that Prof. Oak would talk with his mouth full? XD That was fun!))
With Pokedex in hand (and a baggie with some cookies to boot), Kasiya and Eevee set off towards Route 1, having been pointed in the right direction by Professor Oak. Kasiya's eyes were on the horizon, wondering where it would lead, when suddenly she remembered she had left Ken and Mitsu in a hurry. It wasn't the most polite way to treat new friends, but she hoped they'd forgive her, and they would probably meet again sometime in the future. Eevee was still free of her Pokeball, running ahead of her trainer, then waiting for her to catch up. Kasiya felt very content, on the road, just her and her Pokemon. Her heart fluttered with excitement over what was to come.

Brushing himself off and shaking his head in shame of how akwardly he just acted, Mike and Charmander start walking off in a random direction.
"Well Charmander, mom said that we needed to go to Pallet Town to get our Pokedex, I wonder where that is..."

"Hello! I'm Mitsu." Mitsu said happily. "Umm, I'll be back. Ken you can take Nina to the Pokemon Center, I'll catch up with you guys later." Mitsu ran off. Back towards the boy she had left earlier.
"Mitsu!" Ken yelled knowning that she was headed back towards the boy. "Well Nina shall we be off?"
Mitsu finally reached the boy. "Hello," she started cheerfully. "Sorry to leave you like that. My friends and I are goign to the Pokemon Center I was wondering if you'd like to come?" She asked with a smile on her face.

"Which way to get out of town? There's no gym." Cat asked, looking down at her 'expert'.
"Oddish, odd-oddish-odd."
"Okay, so not north...I don't feel like hiking..."
"Dish-odd. Oddish oooood."
"Okay, and not south. You're right, Torchic probably wouldn't like the water..."
"Tor."
"So that leaves west, right?" Cat was glad when Oddish nodded. She picked them both up again, deciding that they could use the fresh air, and set off out of Lavender Town. "What is west, anyway? Another town...with a gym?"
"Ood."
"Good."

Kasiya continued to follow Route 1, nibbling on a cookie now and then and sharing with Eevee. So far, the sights had been rather bland, no trainers, no Pokemon, just trees and rocks and dirt. She yawned loudly, and found a nice patch of soft grass to rest in. Eevee came padding over and curled up on her lap. Kasiya reached into her backpack and pulled out her own hair brush, and gently started to comb the knots and tangles out of her Eevee''s mane. Eevee made happy sounds as her trainer groomed her.

Yes, I am rather anxious to see this land," she said with a slight smile.
Do you realize that is the first that you have smiled all day? Misdreavus asked.
Oh.. be quiet, Misdreavus. Nina's smile became a little brighter as she and Ken headed off down the road.

Mitsu giggled a bit at the sight of his face. "I'm Mitsu. Nice to meet you." She said with yet another smile on her face. She haden't met so many new people in her life and simply couldn't stop smiling.

Nina, your new friend has asked someone else to come with us... it seems as though we will be having many companions on this trip.

"Thanks, Mike." Mitsu replied to the compliment. "Lets head for the Pokemon Center. I'd imagine that my Ralts is quite hungry." She began to walk off northwards pausing to see if Mike was comming along.
"I think we're getting closer to the Pokemon Center. Where could Mitsu be?" Ken said with a hint of jealousy in the last sentence.
"Pidgy!" His Pidgy chirped. Ken's face instantly turned a shade of light pink noticing he had said that out loud.
