Nereida nodded in response. Merlin was right, after all, and she trusted him with her life. Finding her again probably wouldn't be that hard. 'I'm just getting slightly paranoid,' she thought.

Marina smiled tiredly at Caspian and the rest of them, then shrugged. "Just tired. Ow." She said suddenly. Alarm bells started going off in her mind, and she managed to say hurriedly, "I'll be right back," before dashing off into the forest.
Just about an hour later, she emerged from the forest, sporting two rings on each paw, and one on her tail.
"Look what happened," She said softly, coming to lay by Caspian. "You're a daddy. Who knew?"

Letting Nereida rest more of her weight on him, Melrin kept them going at a steady pace that was just slow enough not ot tire her out too much. After an hour of walking, they were both tired, and it came as a relief when they broke through the line of trees onto the beach.
Finding a clear area amongst the debris, he stopped. "Rest here for a little while," he told Nereida. "I'm going to go check out the ship."
To say that Caspian had been panicking for an hour would be an understatement. Eve with his shoulsers, he had paced back and forth, unsure if she should go look for his mate or not. She seemed like she knew what she was doing, but could she just be putting up a front? What if something had seen potential breakfast?
However, when she did finally come back, his panic only increased. He could recognize what those five small objects were before Marina even said anything. In dumb shock, he sat down with a dull thud on the ground, staring at Marina's paws. She'd shown no signs of pregnancy at all...or maybe she had, and they had brushed them off as reactions to the hurricane.
"Who knew?" he agreed quietly, staring down at his five children.

"Well, I suppose I knew," She said, laughing. The little BCRs gleamed and glittered in the cloudy sunlight.
"They're beautiful, aren't they?" She asked softly, moving so that all of them were lying in front of her and her mate.
At the moment, they were all silent. Being a carer, this was understandable. They had been just born...
"What shall we name them?" She asked, licking a black one with a green swirl. She heard a soft mew from it...no, her. It was defiantly a girl...

Nereida nodded, laying on the sand. She was grateful for the rest. She watched as Merlin walked off toward the ship.

Nami could smell a lot more modifoxes up ahead as the two walked. "Are those your friends and family up ahead there?" she asked, trying to make conversation. She couldn't really think of anything else to say at the moment.

"My sister is up ahead," Nerissa replied. "How did you come apon these islands, though? Where is your family?"

(Supposedly. Course, she's the only fox with the Byakugan that I know of, lol. So, extremely distant I would guess.)
"I don't have any," she replied with a slight frown. "I've just been wandering around, looking for a place to stay. I keep close to the water though. Don't know how those desert foxes can live with so little of something so wonderful and important to life."

Nerissa laughed. "Good point," she said. Her ear twitched suddenly. "I think we're nearing someone." Walking a little further, Nerissa could see Marina and Caspian in the distance. "Nereida and Merlin aren't with them..."

"Well, who are those two?" Nami asked, looking at the couple up ahead of them. "Hey, BCRs! How sweet!"

Marina started at the sound of a young voice, and smiled at the kit.
"Hello there." She instinctively wrapped her tail around the BCRs. "I'm Marina. What's your name?"

"My name is Nami," she replied, walking past Nerissa and approaching the couple. "Congratulations on the BCRs! Did you just get them?" Her pupil-less white eyes stared at the BCRs in awe and curiosity. "They look adorable."

"Yeah, just a bit ago," Marina responded, coming out of a daydream. "Thanks, Nerissa," She said, smiling up at the two. "Do you think you'll be joining our Tribe, uh....I'm sorry, I don't know your name," She said bashfully to the other fox.

"Nami," the young fox repeated, swishing her tail behind her. "Joining? That would be awesome!" she said with a large smile. "I hadn't really thought about it yet. I just stumbled by here this morning after all. So, um, I heard you all ere heading to a 'ship'? Need some help getting there?"
