miname_sohma Yuffie isn't my favorite character, but I don't hate her... agreed. she aint my favorite character at all but she's is somewhat cool. I don't hate her though. in my perspective i think she is somewhat annoying but it's fine having her around. 3nodding

I dont hate her. Theres a place for her in the story, and it works fine. I disliked her for a little while because she stole my materia...so yea, theres that betray in trust.
People who play ff7 i find get very attached to the storyline. I really hate Sephiroth because of who he is in the game, not for his power.
I disliked Cait Sith and Yuffie the first time playing it. Now, next time through, I dont think I will hate them as much. Hell, im on disc one, Cait Sith is one of my strongest characters, and Yuffie is the next strongest after Cloud and Aeris (they are ALWAYS in my party when possible).
Its the betrayal.
She lost cute points when i found out she was 16 during FF7...thats like jail bait

Well Yuffie is my favorite char and finding out she was 16 gave her cute points in my book... Any way she is very versitile and she never leaves my party. I have her at lvl 42 on disk one.

Cute points, yes...sexiness...nah.

HELLA people think I act like Yuffie when I'm hyper. But when I'm not hyper, I'm an Aeris/Tifa like person.
Back to the topic, I think its because people can't live without the materia then they had to go find her and all that crap and thats what got them pissed. I tell them, then why the ******** did you go to wutai in the first place. Wutai is just a side quest place, you don't really need to see that place unless if you gotta take a piss while riding on your chocobo or if you just need a place to rest like whatever the Turks did. Or just go there and burn the whole ******** place, racist a** ********!
Ok see now that was an example of me on the Yuffie mood. I'm currently feeling Yuffie g style.

I don't hate Yuffie .. She comes in handy during fights and ... well .. and that thing ... Oh and you know she ........ Well fighting is all she is good for really ...

I just think she is a major pain in the a**. During other important storyline parts of the game she just syas "whatever", "where's the materia?", or something else that is obnoxious.

I don't hate her really, yea the materia stealing bit was a surprise but it was fun. Turks in vacation was funny. I played the japanese version so she isn't "meh w/e materia plz kthx" all the time. I just think the North American version didn't do Barret and Yuffie justice

If I could my party would be Areis, Yuffie, and Tifa, but alas they don't let you do that crying so I just replace Areis with Cloud and away we go. ninja
